Hi,
If one IDOC is created on the system, but due to some problem (RFC not working or System is down) it is not received by other system.
So we can reprocess the same IDOC by using this T-code after solving the system problem. There is no need to create new IDOC.

for a student project y have to to write the output of some ABAP Reports and Function Modulesin an externel Database.
This time its about the Transaction Code "bd87" programmname "RBDMON00".
I've tried to write an RFC Function Module which calls the programm with:
SUBMIT RBDMN00
EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_TO_ASCI'
But theres always an exception Raise in the Function 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY' that theres nothign in the List.
I don't understand why, with other reports it works great.
Or is there any other way the get the output from Tcode bd87.
Is ther any body outher who can help me?

Sorry I'm realy new in SAP and ABAP, can you show me an example how to read out the the Idoc headers out of EDIDC table.
Or is there any other way to get the entries for example from the table "IDoc entries in tRFC queue" and the other tables behind bd87?

What role of sd functional consultant in ale and idoc scenarios

Hi friends,
I am sd consultant having worked for indian support projects and implementaiton project. i do not have idea of ALE and IDOC scenarios. Now i am on foreign offshore support project where they asked for ALE AND IDOC knowledge. please guide me how to go ahead and please inform what role and responsibilities should have. i heard support may be for order management and delivery from sd module

Tcode BDBG - Generate ALE Interface for BAPI

I'm trying to generate an ALE interface for the BAPI - BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI for my LSMW project, for which I have created a bespoke object in SWO1 (ZBUS), but each time I try to generate the ALE interface for the BAPI I get the error as follows -
Segment Z1BPBUS20001_HEADER_INS is used multiple times in IDoc types

Segment type Z1BPBUS20001_HEADER_INS is used multiple times in the IDoc type. A segment type may only be used once in each IDoc type.
I agree, segment BAPIBUS20001_HEADER_INS is used more than once in BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI for the HEADER and CREATED_PROCESS tables, so is there any alternate solution to it?
I have also tried running BDBG for BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI, and I get athe same error message as above for the segment - BAPIBUS20001_APPOINTMENT_INS - but I cannot see this segment being used anywhere else except for tables DATE.

Method of BAPI has not been deleted,
but message type, idoc type and FM for Outbound processing.
These objects are within SAP namespace, so recreation will not work.

Hi,
BD87 is used to monitor the inbound and outbound IDoc and also can be used to process a single IDoc.
In ALE Administration choose Monitoring ..>Status Monitor (BD87), select the IDocs and then select Process. for example, creating setup tables), post the request IDoc as usual in the mirror system (meaning NOT with the report that was used in the original system). To do this, start transaction BD87 and choose "Posting" of the IDoc with status 64.
The logic for posting an application document is coded in inbound function modules. Verifying the logic of the inbound function module is the most important step for custom function modules. You verify not only that the posting function module is working correctly, but also that the logic and interface of the function module are correct. If problems exist, you might also want to debug the process one step at a time.
The IDoc created in the "Verifying the Creation of successful IDocs" section is used to test this
process. To start, execute program RBDAPP01 via SE38, or execute BD87. Then, enter your IDoc number and start the process

Can you tell me what are relationships between tcode 'SOLAR01' with 'SOLUTION_MANAGER'? My current system can't assign messages to the issue at 'SOLAR01'. But, messages are able assigned to issues at 'SOLUTION_MANAGERS'. How can it happen? What cause this phenomena happen?

most probably you don't have the authorization to create the messages in SOLAR01, but you have in DSWP...

IDOC scenario: MATMAS02 (Application document not posted ALE/EDI errors)

Hi!
I am almost ready with with my first File to Idoc scenario and having the following error.
(Idoc of type MATMAS.MATMAS02)
The IDOC will be received on business system B.
Unfortunately the following errors come in tcode BD87 or MM90
Enter a material type
Message no. M3098
No material number transferred
Message no. M3752
Can some one help me to trace and solve this problem?

I corrected the error!
Now the Idoc has the status "yellow" which mean "IDOC ready to be transformed to application".
Is that still an error/warning or is everything is ok?
I mean does some background job started and create a material from this IDoc?
I loooked into tcode MM03 and cannot unfortunately detect any new materials....

IDoc successfully processed in the ALE layer
The IDoc has passed through the ALE layer successfully and can now be passed to the application. This transfer is either done online or as a background job, depending on the settings in the partner profile.
If there are no further status records, the IDoc waits for the next run of the transfer report to the application.
Success or failure when passing the IDoc to the application is documented in the subsequent status records.
Actions in the ALE layer
The parameter 'kein Filtern' indicates whether the processing in the ALE layer led to segments of the inbound IDoc being omitted. The important criteria here are the settings in the segment filter and in the distribution model for this sender.
The parameter 'kein Umsetzen' indicates whether field values were converted in the ALE layer. This is the case if the IDoc contains organizational units to be converted, or if the ALE conversion tool for this sender is activated.
The parameter 'kein Versionswandel' indicates whether the IDoc was converted into an earlier version of the IDoc type. This happens if the IDoc type of the sender is different from its own IDoc type.

BD87 idoc inbound error for message type HRMD_A

I am getting below error while fetching Inbound idoc in tcode BD87, see log below from ST22

We have below landsacpe
- SAP ECC 6 EHP4 with SQL server 2005 S BACKEND
-LCAPPS Component release 2005_700 with SP
SAPKIBHD05.
- We dont have SAP_APO component
-SAP LiveCache system have MAXDB 7.7.04.29 as backend.
- Live cache client is installed on same SAP ECC system where we have SAP ECC EHP4 system.

I never heard of this specific scenario for liveCache usage in the past 7 years working in SAP support on the liveCache component.
Might be useful if you provide some more details (documentation, notes, links) that describe this usage scenario.
In any case you will need to have a liveCache version that is compatible to your application ABAP coding.
The error message you posted indicates that your liveCache version does not fit your application version (or vice versa).

Well, the liveCache needs to be integrated into the LC10. You'd do this in transaction SM59 - but as you've followed an installation guide, this would have been covered in it...

The only thing this tells us is: the liveCache instance itself apparently comes up and writes out the standard log files.
That's it.
As I already tried to explain, the problem seems to be the dependence between your application and the liveCache version.
Usually I'd recommend to open a support message for this, but the colleagues would (hopefully) ask the same questions as I did.

ALE : Error msg 'Application not posted'

Hello all,
when i send master data from sender to receiver then at recaiver side it shows the error like 'Application not posted'.
what it means ?
I have checked all the connection for both system.Remote connection is also working.IDOC generated at sender side is showing status 3. i.e. data is successfully transfered
whats the problem?

Application not posted. error is for data integrity as already said.
Means that document can not be posted in recieving system. Say if you are sending a currency which is not configured in the recieving system. You are sending INR and recieving system needs USD say. So data can not be posted.
Try posting a document in the recieving system with the same data, it will through the same error take help of any functional consultant and solve the issue.
Now go to we05 and edit the idoc replicate the same changes as you already found. and reprocess the idoc using tcode BD87.
