my iphone is activated in my computer but not on iphone whats the next step

It sounds to me like you either got defective parts or otherwise did not make the repair correctly. We cannot help  with self-repairs here, the iPhone officially not user servicable, but you can ask for advice in the forums on ifixit.com, a site which is dedicated to those attempting their own repairs.
    Regards.

After a restore, the iOS device did not restarts. what is next step?

Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. This can take up to 20 seconds to react.

  • What is next step in imac for me

I have an older imac  2 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo and know I need to step up but cost is a huge factor.....if going on ebay, what would be my next step up?

    Yeah,
I am not big on buying any Mac from eBay.
You simply don't know what you're getting into, some sellers don't include the Mac's original OS discs and no one on eBay can offer any acceptable warranty period.
If you are looking at purchasing a "newer" used iMac, there are reputable Mac resellers that sell used Macs at slightly higher than used market prices, but you generally get a used Mac with some warranty and/or extended warranty time. The reputable resellers usually spend time to quality check the used Mac for reliable operation and condition. Better resellers also have a warranty period of, at least, 30 days. Some resellers have a 90 day warranty and offer an extended 90 day warranty. So, you'll have 6 months or warranty time in case something goes bad with a Mac within that time.
What is your spending budget for a newer iMac?
If you are looking to upgrade to a newer, used iMac, look at models from 2008 to perhaps 2010-2011 models.

  • I have "chosen to open Firefox Setup 5.0.1.exe" and saved the file but nothing happens, my version has not updated, I don't know what the next step should be and I'd be grateful for help with this issue.

I've tried to do this several times on several days, on an HP a1620n running Windows XP Media Edition, Version 5.1. Nothing happens after I get the Download Complete message. Thanks.

Thank you! My solution was slightly different, but in the end, seeing what was going on in the Help menu in the browser did the trick. Turned out I had been stuck for who knows how long "downloading" a version 3! Also had a toolbar to disable but not the Ask.

  • Received from Apple new iPhone 4s but can not activate.  Screen states activation servers not available.  What's next step?

I purchased a new iPhone 4s as a replacement for a 3GS.  The phone starts up with configuration, recognizes my home network wi-fi, but for the past 3 days, all I can advance to is the activate your phone screen.  I have tried through iTunes, Wi-Fi and cellular and while each has a different wait time initially, in the end it is the can't activate the phone message with the description that the activation servers are unavailable.  Considering that the first iPhone 5 will start this process tomorrow, if the servers aren't prepared now, what will be happening to everyone tomorrow?  I am in Oklahoma and all of my devices received the updated IOS 6 without problems, but this new phone is just waiting.

When Apple replace an iPhone and  the faulty one is  locked to a carrier in this case it will be T-mobile ( they do not sell unlocked iPhones) they will replace the iPhone with a locked one to that carrier
So in theory you should have an iPhone locked to T-Mobile
Call Apple and they can tell you if it is locked and to which carrier .
I am also doubtful that a BB sim will work in an iPhone even if unlocked due to BB Messenger

  • How do I do to update? Whats the next step after downloading the files ?

I have a Acer Aspire one with Linux from the beginning. I want to update Firefox because for example Youtube does not support it anylonger. I can download the files for updating, but then? What shall I do with the files?
I am Swedish so if anyone in Sweden can explain it is maybe better.
    Best regards
    Gunnar Norén [email protected]

Chances are that old version of Fedora from 2008 won't support the newest versions of Firefox. Check the system requirements for the two versions which are currently supported. <br />

    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6/system-requirements/
If you don't understand the requirements for Linux on those pages, try the Acer - Linux forums for help or a Linux forum, to find out what the latest version of Firefox that will work on that older operating system. I had a similar situation with my ASUS EeePC 900 netbook a few years ago, and ended up installing a much newer version of Ubuntu called Easy Peasy, so that I could install a new version of Firefox. I was stuck with a Firefox 2.0.0.x version myself.

  • What's the next step before making your site "live"

    Hi,
I created a website and I wanted to get input on what my next step would be prior to uploading my website to the host server. It's all ready to go live I just figured there's probably some testing and validating I need to do on it to make sure everything is working as it should. So I wanted to know what are those next steps exactly?  Are there any resources (ie: a website, etc.) out there on the web that can help me make this as painless as possible? I'm still fairly new to web design so the simpler the better.
    Thanks!

  • New Tab Page not showing thumbnails; browser.newtab.url reset is greyed out. What is my next step?

I have read this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934935 but the solution this user found apparently isn't available to me.
I cleared my cache and cookies the other day, and now my New Tab Page isn't populating with new thumbnails. I do have one thumbnail, a page I pinned, but all of the others haven't come back. I went into about:config and found browser.newtab.url, but the 'reset' option was greyed out. I haven't been able to find out what the next step is to restore my thumbnails; am hoping someone here can help. Thanks!

I do still see empty tiles on the about:newtab page - I have the one pinned page, from before I cleared my cache, and then 8 empty tabs. The disk cache contains information up until just a few minutes ago so yep, appears to be working fine.

  • I just ordered and downloaded Elements 13 but now I'm stuck on next steps.  What is the .exe to start the rest of install process

I just purchased and tried to download the product via the zip file.  Now I'm not sure what the next steps are.  Where are the instructions to get one into the product to complete the installation?

you need both the 7z (file 1 of 2, the archive) and the exe (file 2 of 2, the extractor).
download both, put in the same directory and double click the exe.

  • Solution Manager 7.1 Install, next steps

I completed the install of Solution Manager 7.1 on Windows x64/SQL Server, I've read through the master installation guide, but I'm not certain what the next steps will be to get initial configuration done.  I've read multiple posts that mention running SOLMAN_SETUP from SAP GUI, but at present I can't seem to log in, because it seems to require a SAP Router?
Question is do I really need the SAP Router, am I using the correct software (SAPGUI/SAPLOGON) to login?  Is there another piece of software I need?
Ultimately I need to install ERP 6.0 however I can't complete that install without a key from solution manager, so I'll need to get this sorted first.
I'd greatly appreciate a push in the right direction. Thank you!

Thanks for the response, I did manage to get connected, after a while of searching I found that the listeners were not started for some reason, which I started, and I found a resource that detailed how to get logged in via SAPLogin.
This was prior to your response unfortunately, so I have already started down the path of running SOLMAN_SETUP without creating a client copy.  From what I'm reading in the article you linked, that's a best practice of sorts, but for us it will not be so important as our interest is in a development system only and have no production use planned at any time.  If it's not too late to create the copy I can still do so if it's going to ultimately benefit the installation.
I ran into some issues going through the system preparation in solman_setup, now that I've read the article you've listed I'm still confused if I need SAP Router or not, I would greatly prefer not to use it as it seems to require additional network/DMZ setup and this is sort of a rush project at the moment.  Furthermore the guide you linked for SOLMAN_SETUP references a prerequisite that RFC Destination SAPOSS uses a working connection, which again seems to rely on the SAP Router.  I'm very interested in knowing if I can avoid that step, but if it's absolutely necessary something can be done.
I've gone through the System Preparation guide, unfortunately SP10 seems to be the latest version so I'm not sure how much of this is redundant now in SP12.
    Other questions:
    - LMDB seems to replace SLD but still requires a functional SLD?  I opted to configure a local SLD during installation but I've not looked into any additional configuration needed to be done here, is there a good article that explains SLD?
I just need to get far enough along to generate the key to get ERP up and running ultimately, thanks for the help.

  • Next steps when a disk is MISSING

    Hi,
I'm new to ASM and wanted to check what are the steps and how it might work when a disk fails. So I removed a disk randomly from the diskgroup.
WHen I looked at the v$asm_disk. It said one disk was MISSING. Then it was taking a while to rebalance. Once that was done, the v$asm_disk does even show that disk now, its gone.
So I plugged it back in and no change in v$asm_disk and asm discover does show me this one. Since you use part of that disk for the OS partition, we had to make that partition. I would like to know what my next step is?
Should I have to use "oracleasm create disk", if so should be be the same name or what should I be doing, thanks.

oracleasm-discover and oracleasm listdisks, I see the new disk after the partitions were done with respect to the OS. But the v$asm_disk still shows me 3.
oracleasm scandisk completes and says OK, but I still dont see the new disk. Guess I will have to create the disk again. Any comments
