What is normalize dialog

I am still learning the program and have 2 questions: 1. What is normalize dialog? and 2. What does auto smart tone learning mean? I am using Premier Elements 12.

Some supplemental information for your consideration
The path to the Normalize option in your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 (assumed on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit)
After you select/highlight the audio clip
Clip Menu
Audio Options
Audio Gain
and, after you click on Audio Gain, the Clip Gain dialog comes up, and this dialog includes the Normalize button.
The following Adobe document describes "Normalize" and gives the details of how to adjust the input level of the clips with this option.

Also, if you right click the Timeline audio clip
from the pop up menu, click on
Audio Gain
to have the Clip Gain dialog appear

If a table contain below three statements
DATA REDUNDENCY
COMPLEXITY OF DATA
DATABASE STORAGE CAPACITY
that table is called as DE-NORMALIZED table.
So we need to convert these de-normalized tables into normalized tables are called as NORMALIZATION.
We have some predefined NORMAL forms based on that we can devide that table.
Example:
CNO    MNO   ADDRESS      PRICE
C100   M100   INDIA             100
C200   M200   INDIA             200
C300   M300   INDIA             300
C400   M400   INDIA             500
C500   M500   INDIA             600
In above example see the address all the customers having the same address. So insted of entering the same address for all the customers we can create the other table for ADDRESS and we maintain all the address in that table.and refer that table for each and customer to get the corresponding address.
If we have C100 customer transactions 200 times in this case, why should i enter the same address 200 times, it gives the data redundency. So i can maintain the C100 address in Address table and refer that address for C100.

What's the dialog box when you launch Aperture for the first time?

I bought Aperture 3 from the App Store, installed it, and when I launched it something odd happened: I was interacting with another application, and when Aperture started up it out up the main window and a dialog box popped up that asked "Would you like to..." with (presumably) Yes, No, OK, Cancel, or similar buttons. Unfortunately, it stole my mouse click from the other app and the dialog box vanished before I had a chance to read it, and so I have no idea what the question was or how I answered it. Aperture did not go off and do anything radical like convert my iPhoto library, so I guess it wasn't that, but I would like to know what it was I clicked.
Unfortunately, I can't repeat it since it appears to be a one-time question. Does anyone know what the dialog box asked? (It's not the second dialog box, which is whether I wanted to enable GPS geotagging.)

Thanks. On another forum, I have gotten two other answers: (1) whether I wanted to create an Aperture Library; and (2) whether I wanted to register Aperture.
All three are plausible - I guess it's not crucial what it was, but it would be nice to know.
(Weirdly, the forum software has lost my profile information and posting history & post count, and it populated the info box with "Model: PowerBook G4", which is about 3 machines back. What's up with that?)

What's a dialog called that slides up from the frame?

I need a popup dialog that alerts the user when a system value changes. I don't want to give this popup focus - the focus needs to stay in the window the user is currently editing.
It seems like a perfect solution would be a panel that slides up from the frame and hovers for a few seconds before sliding back down.
What are these properly called?
Does anyone know of a freeware library or code snippet that illustrates how to implement them?

What are these properly called?I don't think there's an official name for these things, but popup dialog/window is pretty common. The sliding effect would make it a "sliding popup dialog".

snippet that illustrates how to implement them?I do not, but they shouldn't be too hard to implement.
Just have a separate thread running to change it's location at a certain speed. If you use a panel, you can add it to the drag level of the JLayeredPane of the JFrame. Shouldn't be too hard, but don't know of any examples.

What is the dialog box marked com.apple.internetaccounts.xpc? It has popped up and I can't get rid of it. I have tried every password I can think of.

This dialog box keeps popping up on my iMac. If I select cancel, it comes back. I reset my keychain yesterday because I couldn't get in. I chose a new password but it won't accept that. I've tried every password I've ever had for different Settings and am still getting no where. Another box has popped up. This one is AddressBookSourceSync wants to use the "login" keychain. I feel like I'm in a remake of "Groundhog's Day."

Open/save dialog boxes not working correctly.

Environment: CS6 (PS 13.0.1) Mac OS X 10.7.5. Plenty of hardware. (Generally starting with .CR2 RAW.)
Two open/save problems
Recently (maybe since the 13.0.1 update??), I have been having problems with the open and save as dialog boxes.
First. The open file dialog always defaults to Enable: blank (i.e. no file types enabled). Each time I have to go to the bottom of the dropdown list and select "All readable documents" before I can open ANY type of file. I've searched in everyway I can think of looking for some method to have OPEN default to "all readable" but can't find anyway to do this. Anyone have a suggestion? I admit this is a nuisance more than anything, but when whipping around at deadline having to stop each time and make this change is irritating. No other program has this difficulty (including Illustrator and InDesign). PS5.5 did not exhibit this behavior on the same machine.
Second. When I save as and try to select any file format, say going from psd to tiff, the format dropdown list ALWAYS selects the format ABOVE the one I choose. Example: If I select JPEG, PS tries to save as .iff. If I pull the selection down to JPEG2000 it will then save as standard JPEG. Again just an irritant but, tiff (which I need for several other programs) is last on the list thus there is no way I can go one below it to get tiff format selected. It always comes out as png. Also note that the Format selection indicates the correct format - in the case of tiff the dialog box shows TIFF selected, but the program is apending .png. (Continuing the save as (without altering my selection) always results in the incorrect format no matter what the Format dialog says in the save as operation.) Again, no other program I work with (including several Adobe products) exhibits this behavior.
I seriously need to be able to save as tiff. Anyone with any thoughts on this?

Unfortunately, a significant amount of effort has been expended with no joy here.
I have done the following;
(1) examined every plug-in folder for duplicates - None found
(2) deleted the symlinks (aliases) Topaz created referencing their plug-ins in /Library/Application Support
(3) reinstalled the Topaz bundle - no change
(4) Spoke at length with Topaz support and have been assured that all of their plug-ins are CS6 compatible.
(5) Have had the same conversation with Nik regarding their 2 plug-ins - assured that they are compatible.
Frankly I'm stumped here. I've combed my system in everyway I can without any change in PS behavior - on Open it defaults to blank and "Save as" selects the wrong format.
Question for the experts. Would deleting PS completely and then reinstalling make a difference or am I now in uncharted territory and on my own?

Custom icons not showing up in installer dialogs

What are the steps that are required to get a custom icon to show up in the installation dialogs?
I have custom icons setup in the application descriptor xml file for my app... and they do show up in the OS after I install the application but I don't see the icon showing up in the install dialogs.
Any ideas why the custom icons are not showing up in the installation dialogs?

You need to sign your app with a certificate that chains up to a trusted root certificate. In general that means you need to get a cert from verisign or someone like that. If you get the friendly warning dialog on the first installer screen rather than the scary one with lots of red x's, you should then see your image

"PDF Modification Detected" dialog box

When I attempt to open certain PDFs in Illustrator (up to and including CS5.1), I get a dialog box with the title 'PDF Modification Detected' and the text 'This document has been modified outside of Adobe Illustrator.'
I can't work out what it is about these PDFs that causes this dialog box to open (most PDFs don't cause it, including ones that have been edited using programs other than Illustrator). Discarding changes does indeed discard certain changes.
The dialog box appears even where the file is opened using a script that suppresses dialogs. This together with the icon makes me think that this is a really old piece of code that's being triggered in a different way from most dialogs. Does anyone have any idea of what causes this dialog to appear, and if there's any way to take it into account (e.g. setting a default answer) in scripting or batch processing?

It could be that this is just caused by out-of-sync timestamps on the file.
But possibly you've got a bigger problem. PDFs generated by Illustrator may in fact contain two files: a PDF and an AI. WHen you open them in Illustrator, the AI will be edited (and the PDF will be updated when saving). When opening them in other software, the PDF part will be edited (and the AI won't be updated). Illustrator realizes this and warns you.
You know your files, you'll have to find out what happened.

Print dialog is not showing the correct Print Preview document, image, or artboard sizes; printer is printing incorrectly

This is what the Print Dialog looks like. The print preview is too small. The final printed images are coming out all wrong.
This is happening for ALL DRIVERS (5 different printers) and 2 different USERS in our company.
It doesn't matter if you change the Media Size or any of the other settings here in the "Print" dialog, the "Page Setup..." dialog, the printer's own "Setup..." settings, etc... it's like Illustrator is using the wrong Artboard size. And why is there so much dark gray area around the page in the Print Preview? It looks really messed up.
We need this fixed immediately. This is a crazy bad bug... we can't print!

Latest Java Update - accidentally dismissing the admin/password dialog box at the end.

I did a Software Update on around April 14 (including this update) and at the END OF THE PROCESS, I was presented with a dialog box with an admin login and password. At this moment, I accidentally hit the ESC key and dismissed the dialog box. Then, I restarted my Mac and hoping that I can repeat the same process again, but however it says there are no more updates. I did a "java -version" and it says it using Update 31.
What was that dialog box requesting the admin/username at the end of the process? Was it affecting anything significant (or something not installed) because I accidentally dismissed it?
(I am using my mac from a "Standard" (not "Adminstrator") account.)

Download it from the apple site and run the installer that way:
Java for OS X Lion 2012-003
If you didn't give the installer the admin password it didn't install. So doing an explicit download and installing that way should work. Of course that too will ask for your admin password.

Dialog After Application Install

After every install of an application on my mac a dialog window appears titled "New Text File" with "Where:" dropdown set to Desktop and the "Save As:" prefilled as "myapps.txt. Then there is a continue button and cancel button.
It has only started happening lately.
What is this dialog box?

Perhaps you (or some utility program) created a folder action for the Applications folder. That action is configured to generate/open a text file - based on the title, for keeping track of what applications were installed when?

please anyone tell the examples.Normalization is not an Oracle issue, it is a basic data design issue. Ideally it would apply to all systems, not just rdbms systems and certainly not to just Oracle. Where have you tried to find information on it? Something as simple as http://lmgtfy.com/?q=data+normalization
Data normalization is so basic to systems design, I'm astounded that at the number of people who call themselves professionals who don't even know what it is. I won't even venture (in a public forum) a guess on how that happens.
