Hi there,
I am not sure if it is necessarily a bug, but its a matter of understanding all of the settings needed. I had the same problems for a while but after a fair bit of trial and error have found some workable settings.
It probably has more to do with the export settings rather than what viewer options have selected (I don't think that viewer settings affect your export).
What program are you using to export?
I am using compressor to export with aspect ration set to automatic 16:9. Then use DVDSP with the track set to 16:9 letterbox, it seems to export to DVD with the correct aspect ratio that way.
I am having trouble with the image strobing, looks like some kind of interlacing problem, but at least I have got it in the right aspect ratio.
Its typical video, solve one problem and it just creates another.
I am yet to find the absolute best workflow.
In response to Andy above, the original letterboxed footage probably did have something to do with the downconverting settings on the camera, as when I import without downconverting it does not letterbox. In the HDR-HC1 there is an option in the menu called "TV Type" with options of 4:3 or 16:9. I was reviewing my footage on a 4:3 television so I most likely had it set to 4:3 which created the letterboxing in the viewer when I then imported the footage.
Importing the footage in HDV solves the issue of aspect ratio, but creates a new problem with the image strobing.

You can get step by step workflow for PO using standard workflow
Release of Purchase Order :WS20000075
And for two levels of approvals you have to configure in SPRO the path is
Purchase Order:
SPRO> Material Management->Purchasing->/Purchase order-->Release procedure ---> Procedure with classification ---> set up procedure with classification ---> double click on Release strategies and Workflow.
If you don't know about this configuration, you have to confirm with your MM consultant.
after finish this iam triggering events using pftc
in that pftc iam choosing business object bus 2012 for po release..
i think thats enuf..
After that it is possible to trigger workflow.. when iam create purchase order..

What do you mean by sb ? Is it sc (Shopping cart or something else ) ?
Couple of ways to find the equired details.
1) By SRM GUI logon, incase you know the shopping cart number, using BBP_PD Transaction, you can get the complete Shopping approver details there itself.
2) By SRM Web page, if you created a new shopping cart, in the Approver Preview section, just one level above the Order button, you can see the list of managers, who will be approving the shopping cart (With their details in 2 manner - graphical/ tabular details - like name, next level approver, etc )
3) By using the Standard SRM Workflow function modules, incase you know the Shopping cart details, you can get the approver list with their names, approving limit etc.

Dead Line Monetering in Purchase Order Release Workflow
Hi Experts,
I have activated Standard Purchase Order Release workflow and it works fine now i have a requirement of Dead Line monetering for 2 days. In Standard Release Activity TS20000166 if i give 2 days in Latest End.
Will it work in such a way that if the first approvar does not take any action for 2 day then it automatically esculates to the next person in the release strategy.
Or should i use Modeled Deadline for esculation to next Level.

If you just have 2 days on the latest end tab, the workflow will only send a deadline notification to the current agent and WILL NOT escalate.
You have to use modelled deadline and in that branch route the workflow to the next approver based on your agent determination rules.

Purchase order in 'awaiting approval' status but no approval required

I am using SRM 4.0 SP 13. There is a purchase order which shows that no approval is required in the approval tab, but the overall status is 'awaiting approval'. Please can you advise if this is a Support pack issue? I have checked the workflow WS14000075 which is active.

You would need to check if the workflow has been able to release the PO properly. Only after successful release completion by workflow, PO status gets changed to ordered from awaiting approval. Check the workflow log to see if there are any errors. Use txn-SWI1 or SWI6 to go into workflow log. Also reactive your workflow WS14000075 using txn swdd and try creating new PO.

Iam new to workflows. I have been reading the documents on Workflows on SDN and few other sites.
I want to know whether we can create a production order using Workflows. If so, How we need to
pass necessary data like Material, Plant, Order type, Quantity and Basic Start date/ Basic finish date to
the Workflows? I have idea about Business objects, Events,Step types and overview of the workflow
terminology and pracitced few examples on workflows. Can anybody help me please?

Manjula.SI dont know about standard existing workflows available for your requirement as mentioned in one of the posts here. so you better check the availale standard first and then decide if you want to build a customised one
and wat i told you is wat u need to do if you go for a customising one................ first of all identify what abap you are going to write to create your prodcution order. either its BAPI or BDC whatever.......maybe you create your own function module for doing that stuff...............then you extend the busines object of the prod order , then you add another method in it and call your function module in this method.........
ok now you create activity step in your workflow that you have already made with all the start events and things like that.........this activity step will have a task that calls this new method of yours..... .
you need to know some basic fundamentals of workflow for doing all this and if its your first time then it wil take some time....... -
How to call workflow approve service in loop for multiple documents.
i have created a serviceHandler for approving the document and i post the comma separated dIDs as a string from workflow approval template(custom template). And in serviceHandler program i pass the did for approving and only first document is approved and for other document its throwing error, Its showing error document revision is not a latest revision but document is having only one revision.

Try to find out what's in the binder if you approve the second item from GUI and what's there when you do it from your program. That should give you enough info what you need to change. -

thanks in advance.for material(say A) and plant combination In MMBE what you see is the stock against the sales order which is the result of GR with sales order as account assignment.
Now reservation what you see in MMBE is the reservation made on material A by its parent matrials which my abe sales order account assigned or may not be assigned..\
Hence these two are different meaning and consideration.

I had released the contract using ME35k.
When i try to raise a p.o agaist the contract i am getting the error as "Release orders against contract 4600000069 not possible (contract not released)"
What could be the problem and solution for the above error message.

Self Registration without Company or Workflow approval

We have NW2004s SP 10. Is it possible to allow a very simple self registration without using Companies or Workflow approval? The online help seems to imply that this is possible, but I've tried to configure our Portal as such but nothing shows up on our welcome page.
What I've done is the following:
User Admin UI settings:
Enable Self-Registration of Guest Users=true
Display Contact Information Form During Self-Registration = true
All the rest are set to false/blank or default
Visual Admin settings:
Server ->Service -> UME Provider -> ume.logon.selfreg = true

TYou also need to assign the UME Action UME.Selfregister_User to the Everyone group. Use /useradmin to create a UME role called something useful and add the UME action specified.

Submitted form immediately redirects in workflow approval
I've created a form submission process following this description https://blogs.oracle.com/kyle/entry/adding_ucm_web_forms_to_site_s and associated the submission with a workflow
It works, the form gets into ucm and workflow is triggered. However, the confirmation page, what the "form" redirects to after submission shows right away after clicking on the link in the email approval message.
The service used is SUBMIT_HTML_FORM and the redirect is defined as

The method you have created in SWO1 could be dialog one.That's why you aren't able to set as back ground in task.So, uncheck the "Dialog" check box under "General" tab.
Since you are unable to open the Adobe form , the problem could be with binding.Also make sure you pass all the required parameters.
