What is relationship between ping and tcp in BGP ?

Dear All, As we know, BGP peer relation needs reachability of tcp 179. But usually if the two peer neighbors can ping each other, we can consider the tcp 179 is working well. So what is relationship between ping and tcp in BGP in this situation ? Thank you !

Ping is a tool in the ICMP suite, and doesn't use ports. It uses codes. TCP is a different protocol, and does use ports. In the case of BGP, once the process is started (and you have at least one neighbor command) it will open port 179. Who is the client and who is the server in the neighborship, does not matter. If you have issues with BGP neighbors being formed, and you believe the configuration is correct - Telnet to the port to be sure that it is working. Also, if they are not directly connected, you may need to enable multihop. Check Access lists also.
Pinging the other router it is unrelated to the BGP TCP process. - Here is an example pinging fine, but before the BGP process has opened port 179.
There is just two routers on a /30 segment - 10.19.2.2 and 10.19.2.1

Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.19.2.1, timeout is 2 seconds:

How to make link between xcelsius components with sap data using Web servic

I have a doubt regarding connection between Xcelsius components and SAP data.
I created one Web service using Function module and made a connection between xcelsius and that web service using binding URL. It shows imput and output parameters perfectly.
But I cant get any idea as to how to connect Xcelsius components with these parameters.
Can anybody help me out..

Have you bound your output parameters to ranges of cells? Select the item, then click the icon to the right of the Insert In: box and select the cells.
Add a spreadsheet component to your chart and bind it to the cells, then preview the model. Do you see the data coming through?
If you do, then you can click File > Snapshot > Export Excel Data. Then close Preview mode, and import data from spreadsheet and select the sheet you just exported. This gives you real data to work with when designing the dashboard.

Yes, i think you can use MDM for different versions of SAP. As you know Data communicates between R/3 to MDM using PI, so in PI during Configuring Scenario, when you Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository, you have option to use Version Number for Same SAP System during Assign Services.
Also in Integration Builder:Design of PI , you can use Import software components Version which can be transfer from System Landscape Directory (SLD) using Tools from Menu Bar.
This is because you have Registered SAP Sytem in SLD.
Also, In SLD you have Software Catalogs under this Software Component here you have registered software component with Versions for the Same SAP Product.

we hesitate to give you estimates on database and hardware sizing because, as Gabi states, sizing for EIS will vary from customer to customer based on the characteristics of the supply chain being modeled. Inputs for the sizing are the number of stocking points, number of supply paths, Bill of Material details (if applicable), the number of future periods to model, the number of historical periods of forecast and sales provided, lead times across the supply chain model and the number of models you will keep.
To make some very GENERAL comments, the more material sharing that occurs in your network the more memory needed to optimize (solve for Safety Stock) the model. Two customers can have the same number of stocking points and supply paths but if one has a distribution-only supply chain while the other has a model with a very detailed Bill of Material the distribution-only model will require much less memory to optimize.
Any further sizing information should go through Consulting as Gabi has indicated. Sizing an EIS implementation is somewhat unique and therefore general, cookie-cutter recommendations are not useful.

Under which circumstances are the Color Themes specified under the Color Tab used, and under which circumstances are they ignored?

One way trust relationship between different domain windows server 2012 in different forest

I'd like to build trust correctly between the domains A.local and B.int. A.local is on a Windows 2012 . B.int is on a Windows 2012 . Both machines are
connected to the same LAN. The forest level in A.local
machine is Windows Server 2008 and The forest level in B.int
is Windows server 2012.
I want a one-way trust relationship, i.e. users from A.local gain access to B.local.

i have so many partners under pft_5 (Employee) and all are giving value pft_5 in the CRMD_ORDER_INDEX table for the same GUID in header.. How can i find out the oppurtunities searching by partner function of PFt_5 group .. (Not sure what to ask since We have this new partner functiions added to the dropdown and i dont see any difference in the table based on the Partner Function selected in the screen.Each function has a different number assigned but I dont see that in the table)

Transfer Order Number is field tanum in header table ltak (the item table is ltap). LTAK has a field called vbeln which should hold your outbound delivery number. LTAP has a field called posnr which has the line item (if you need item information).
From the delivery you can use the document flow table (vbfa) to get the sales order number and you can use the Shipment item table (vttp) to get the shipment.

Detecting relationships between classes

Friends,
I wish to create a program that is given a project as input and it outputs the relationships between different classes.
For example if there are 3 classes in the project, the program (or software) should output:
Class1 "is a" Class2
Class2 "has a" Class3
or something like that.
I need some ideas on this. So please give me some input, about how to proceed any further.

I can give you a third option. Read the classfiles,
and retreive the information from them. I once wrote
an application that did just that, and then showed a
graph of the dependencies. The application can also
package all dependencies into a jar-file.Nice. :) Might try that one day, too. But I hate JTrees. :p But I'd say our company could definitely use a tool that finds unused code - classes and methods. I once came up with the "lean code" idea. Nobody really cared so far, except one co-worker who strongly agrees, and a tool like that would a good way to start.
(Why does suddenly the thought of you being a GUI guy cross my mind!?)
