Hi all,
I need help from you all. I need a single exit or badi which will trigger before saving any PO or PR while creating.
For PO, it should handle 3 possible cases.
1. Tcode : ME21
2. Tcode : ME21N
3. BAPI function module (Ex: BAPI_PO_CREATE1)
For PR, it should also handle 3 possible cases
1. Tcode : ME51
2. Tcode : ME51N
3. BAPI function module (Ex: BAPI_PR_CREATE)
I need to populate Requirement Tracking Number (BEDNR) field in the line item from a custom number range object and also have to update a custom table.

At runtime, you will get the GUID in the BADI Interface.
Incase this BADI does not help, go for another BADI
1) BBP_SEND_MEDIUM_MODE
(Determines the Default Settings for the Send Medium)
2) 'BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF'.

Hi,
The safety time / actual range of coverage ensures that the planned warehouse stock covers the requirements of a defined number of days. It therefore serves as a time float and thus works alongside the safety stock, which acts as quantity float.
The system simulates bringing the requirements forward by the specified number of days and the planning for the receipts, created for these requirements in the planning run, is also brought forward by this number of days.
Prerequisites
·   You have set the Safety Time indicator in the material master record (MRP 2 View) to define whether the safety time is only to apply to independent requirements or to all requirements.
·    In the material master record (MRP 2 View), in the Safety Time/Actual Range of Coverage field, you have entered the number of workdays by which the requirements are to be brought forward.
·    If, in addition to this actual range of coverage, you also want to define a different number of workdays in certain periods or a safety time less than one day then, in Customizing for MRP in the activity Define Period Profile for Safety Time/Actual Range of Coverage you can define a period profile and assign it to the material in the material master record.

Importing CD to Artist folder\Album folder\file with track number and name:

I have a problem then importing my cd’s to my harddisk using iTunes.
On my previous pc I got what I want, Artist folder, Album folder and file with track number and name:
e.g.
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\03 I'll Survive.mp3
But now I get:
D:\My Music\Compilations\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \03 I'll Survive.mp3
In iTunes my settings are Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced: iTunes Music folder: D:\My Music and checkmark in both: “Keep iTunes Music folder organized” and “Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library”.
My version of iTunes is 8.0.1.11

It will depend on the album. Gracenote considers anthologies, a collection of tracks by the same artist taken from different albums, as a compilation. In iTunes the compliation setting should really only be applied to a collection of tracks by different artists.

Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.
(A different rep I talked to said all iphone 6 plus pre orders had a ship date of October, all of them - I asked what Verizon is going to do when they advertised iphone 6 plus for 9/19 delivery and your telling me they never had any available - at this point he transferred me... *****)

Authorization object for requirement tracking number

I want authorization object for requirement tracking number in PR ME51N.
I have to make control over User against requirement tracking number that particular user can use this tracking number only while using ME51N.

Check the t code su21 whether your requirement is fullfill or not.
If not make a authorization object with the help of abaper and assign this object to the particular user in their profile.

In PO item tab this field shown as Reqmt. No (field just before requisitioner )
assuming you have activated this field as optional entry in screen layout for PO in Reference data, item tab for
FSel. ME21N as well as for NBF ( or what ever field selection you assigned to your PO document type) **

Hi,
You will get the requisition no. from EKKO (provided PO has been created otherwise you won't get any record). Find out PO & item no. for the requisition item. Then you can check EKBE table whether GR has been posted or not. If GR has not been posted then there won't be entry in EKBE for that PO & item.

Generally, Requirement Tracking Number can be saved as Upper case. But i have an issue that in one PR, Requirement Tracking no was saved as lower case.

MRP areas and MRP controller..

In a plant if there are some 100 x materials and 100 y materials..
The requirement is when the 100x materials are planned ,The 100 y materials should not be planned(i e 100 y materials should not be considered in planning). How to map this in MRP.
I have heard that using MRP controllers or MRP areas this can be achieved.But I don know how?
If anybody cud help me in how to proceed this?

This can be achieved through the user exit in MD01 based on MRP controller assing different MRP controller for X and Y material and with the help of ABAP you can use exit in MD01 and run mrp with that exit in MD01
sorry the user exit which is used in my scenario which is same as of yours is M61X0001 as Suggeste by Mr Mangalraj

Additionally:
The size of the organisation may have an effect on the relation / connection between purchasing group & MRP controller.
I mean in case of a smaller organisation roles may be merged and a purchaser can be the MRP controller as well. In case of a large organisation roles are more separated.

Requirement Tracking Number Not Transferring to Backend

SRM 5.0 SP 7 - ECS
We've configured our system to allow users to enter the tracking number withing the Basic Data section of the cart, however when the PO is created in the backend the tracking number details are not transferred.
I assumed that this would be standard functionality but obvisouly it's not.
Any ideas / sample code would be gratefully received.

What is a sims number and what is it for

I wana know what a SIM card or number is? What is it used for , I see the setting for Sims Number can someone tell me what it's for and how it will be useful tome Thanks

The ICCID is the SIM Card number, it is the unique number of the SIM Card. If you have a new SIM Card, this is the number you give to or say to the Carrier to have the SIM Card activated so you can use the cell service of your iPhone with this new SIM Card. At that moment your phone number will be linked to this SIM Card for telephone purposes. Otherwise the number is not important. Also once the number on the SIM Card is activated by a Carrier, it can never be activted again. So once deactivated you cannot use that SIM Card for cell service again.
