What is "reset statistics" in settings un the cecullar data category? Will it reset your whole phone?
No, it will not reset the entire phone. It will reset your cellular statistics, such as how much data you have used since the last reset, how much call time you have, and the individual app statistics that are showing with all of the apps you see in the list, as well as the system services. I use it all of the time. It will have no affect on your data or phone content.

No you won't lose anything, however you would need to re enter your password for known wifis.
You should already be backing up your phone on a regular basis. -
I bought ringtones a few months ago on my iphone 5s and I sync it regularly to my laptop. I recently reset it and the ringtones will no longer copy back to my phone and wont let me redownload them. Do I have to repurchase them or is there another way I can get them back??
I dont know if this will help.. but:
I had to plug my Iphone 5s into my laptop.
Open up Itunes
Click on the Iphone tab at the top
Let everything load
Click on "Summary" (mine was checked to only add selected options to my iphone)
Go to the "Tones" tab (to the right of the Summary tab)
Check if all your tones in your Itunes are checked (they won't sync if they arent checked)
Click "Apply" at the bottom right of that page (next to where it shows how much space you have left on your phone)
Click Sync
Hopefully they will now be added..

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

No Longer able to Change Cellular Data settings. STUCK!!!!

I use to be able to change the cellular data settings, but now out of the the blue. the options have changed!
I would go to Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data> and then more options
now when i get to _Cellular Data it only gives me the option to turn it off or on! like the wifi option_.
It wasnt like this last week and i cant seem to get it back to the way it use to be. Ive reset the network settings with no luck.
Without having the option to modify the cellular data settings i can no longer set my phone up to send/receive picture texts.

Date Manipulation Depending on the various user date settings

I have a query.
In scripts, user date format setting is YYYY.MM.DD, values stored the table MHND are also in the format YYYY.MM.DD.
However when i pass the date values from MHND from form to subroutine pool the dates are available in the format DD.MM.YYYY in the subpool.
I want to calculate the diffenece between two dates. I have checked the function modules to calculate the differece betweent 2 dates those acccepts dates with type YYYYMMDD.
However i tried to bring my dates in from YYYY.MM.DD into YYYYMMDD format by using CONVERT_DATE_INTERNAL function module... That is not working as the user date format is YYYY.MM.DD and the dates are coming in subpool in DD.MM.YYYY format....
Please suggest me the approach the relavant function modules.... so as to manipulate the dates based on the user date settings.

Try using the following formatting script symbol in your form routine
For example, you are passing the date into the subroutine then put K after the date field like below.
&date(K)& .
or
use SET DATE MASK : YYYY:MM:DD

I have bought Nokia N8 from Vodafone and I use their network as well. I am on contract with them without free internet, therefore any use of internet I will be charged.
I tried to change Packet data sittings to prevent my phone of accessing the internet through internet and WAP access point but I could not because the sittings are protected from modifying or deleting.
Is there any way or program to remove or change these settings? Please help me how I can do that.
ThanksSet phone to offline, go to connectivity settings and delete all access points, when the phone asks for a connection reject everything except your wifi connection.I would really be adviseable to get a data allowance as you are missing the vast majority of the functions of the N8 by not using internet connection, it's a very expensive digital camera that can make calls and txt at the moment ! Where do you come from ? In UK VF have cheap 'bolt ons' for PAYG data, and it would really improve your whole expeience !!

I am logged in a computer (that is used by others) as a 'guest'. I would like to completely hide my browsing history and I hear this is done by 'resetting Safari'. My question is, will this mess things up for the other people who logg into use the computer? Or does the resetting apply only to the guest?

anything, including resetting, that you do as guest should not affect other users who log into their own accounts. Just logging out of guest should remove the obvious history/cookies etc although of course it's possible for an admin of that computer to keep track of some info. -
I can't send photos to my friend it says "Not Delivered" my MMS Messaging is on , my Cecullar data is on , i reset the network settings and still my photo did'nt sent.
It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?

When you restore, you can restore to factory settings or to a backup. Restoring to factory settings removes everything and takes you back to out of the box status and you start all over again. Restoring from your backup will replace all of your app data, bookmarks, email settings and things like that. You still may need to sync all of your purchased apps and music, photos and so on back to the iPad.
I assume you want to restore from your backup to put all of you data back on the device so connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, right click on the device name on the left side under the devices heading and select restore from backup. After you restore from your backup, make sure that you sync all of your other content with iTunes. -

Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.

I bought an IPhone 3gs and tried to reset the APN through Strait Talk Wireless but when I click on settings then "General" tab they tell me to click on the "Network" tab but there is not a "Network" tab? After Network, I was supposed to go to Cellular Data Settings but I can't find the Network tab under the General tab.
