What is resubmit push button

Hi Expert,
Is there any one know the exactly function for Manager approval with Resubmit Pushbutton.
Once manager use resubmit pushbutton and it will not display in manger approval list.  However, the status for shopping cart is awaiting approval.
Do anyone know what is exactly this function for?
thanks
Marco

"Resubmit" is an option for the manager and employee (requestor) to communicate about the workitem or the document itself during the approval process. The manager's resubmission would put the document in the requestor's inbox whereas the resubmission by the requestor would put the document in the manager's inbox. The technical effect of it is to change the approval state of this work item. Since it is part of the approval process and no final decision of acceptance or rejection is made, the document stays in "awaiting approval" status.

  • Resubmit Push Button on Approval Screen

    Hello All
    We are on SRM 5.0 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the resubmit pushbutton is for on the Approval screen.  I clicked on it and it gave me a place to put a resubmission date and when I clicked the save resubmission date I got a message: Resubmission for work item entered successfully and then the work item disappeared from my approval inbox.
    Can anyone tell me what this functionality is actually used for and what the system should be doing?
    Thanks!
    Jane

    Hi,
    The following functions are available on the Approval tab:
    ·         Display/Edit: You can display the details of a work item or edit it.
    ·         Approve: You can approve a work item.
    ·         Reject: You can reject a work item.
    ·         Resubmit: You can have a work item resubmitted to you for processing at a later date. To do this, choose Resubmit and then enter the date on which you want to receive the work item.
    ·         Forward: You can forward a work item to another user.
    ( for example i want to appear this work item in my approval inbox after one week)
    With the help of Resubmit Button, work item receive by the approver on the date entered.
    Hope that your problem was solved..
    Thanks

    Sounds like the battery is shot and in need of a replacement.  You can have Apple replace the battery for a flat fee or you can send it into a third party repair center for a bit less.
    Not much else you can do for troubleshooting this one.

    hi,
    it is same as maintaining conditions records through VK11.
    so in the material master record by clicking the "
    Conditions " button we can maintain the list price.
    We can also maintain free goods if any not only list price.

  • Push Button Reset - in System Restore's Protection Settings WHAT IS IT FOR?

    I just did a REFRESH of my Acer ATC-105-UR10
    After it came back to life I went looking the system to see if it set up correctly and I found this under Protection Settings when you go to Configure System Restore.
    After Speaking to ACER’s technicial support.  I changed the settings for the SYSTEM Protection back to the way it was after the hard drive was REFRESHED.
    AFTER I Did the Refresh.  I actually set PUSH BUTTON RESET to “ON”, since I thought it should be ON and protecting!
    After the Reset of the PC when I Went to Recovery and looked at
    CONFIGURE SYSTEM RESTORE it was set like this:
    Available Drives       Protection
    Acer (C) (System)     ON
    Push Button Reset   OFF
    I then changed “Push Button Reset” to “ON”.
    I thought I better call Acer, and 2 technicians, one a supervisor, told me to set “Push Button Reset” to OFF again, since that is the way the technicians set this up in order to not damage the hard drive.
    Since when it was Refreshed it was OFF, they said LEAVE IT AS YOU FOUND IT!
    I HOPE THIS IS CORRECT!!
    Here is how it looks NOW:    (IS THIS CORRECT???  What is PUSH BUTTON RESET for anyway???)
    Will my PC still create restore points?  Is this correct?  Acer said leave it this way!

    Hi,
    For the Push-button reset, we may take a look at the following article:
    Push-Button Reset Overview
    In a word, the Push-Button Reset is for recovery purpose, to help satisfy the support obligations with faster average resolution times and fewer resources. It is used in Windows Recovery Environment, which should be considered as a recovery partition built
    by Acer.
    I don't think this would have an effect on the restore points. If we want to figure out what it acturally does, we'd better ask Acer side for detailed information.

    hello, i bought a unlock iPhone 5 in 2012 december and i come back to my country and i pay money to use my phone in Turkey and few months later my push button didn't work so i take my phone to apple in los angeles and they give me the new one but they didn't give the box. and 1 week ago i come back to my country again and i take a message from my line comany and they told that i must give money again to use my phone in Turkey until 30rt of january if i didnt pay i cannot use it anymore. but this is so stupid cause apple change my phone in guaranty covorage. what sould i do now

    You need to pay your mobile network provider for the calls, SMS and data you need to use your phone. This is an ongoing charge, usually paid monthly.
    This is nothing to do with Apple. Apple only provided the handset - not the mobile network you use it on.

  • How to Enable a Push Button In The Form That Is Always Greyed Out?

    Greetings All,
    I am trying to enable an existing "Return" Push Button(PB) which is always greyed out whenever the form is called in either an update or review mode. After some research, I found that this PB's functional property is "Enabled" (i.e. the enabled value = 'Yes'), and it is coded programatically set 'Off' in 30 places and 'On' in 2 places in the form that I inherit from my predecessor by using the following code:
    SET_ITEM_ON_OR_OFF('BLK_UPDATE.PB_RETURN', <XXXXX>);
    Where <XXXXX> could be either TRUE or FALSE. I've been spending a lot of time in trying to enable this "Return" PB (without modifying the existing programming code) by adding the 'SET_ITEM_ON_OR_OFF' built-in command to set the PB on in WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED TRIGGER for the PB_RETURN and WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE Trigger, but all tries in vain. Could you please help me with the following question?
    What is the easiest way to enable a PB that is set programmatically?
    Is there something else I should know to enable a PB, in addition to what I have already mentioned above?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jinlan
    --

    Thanks all for your information and help. I included the following code, as suggested by Manu, in WHEN-MOUSE-DOWN TRIGGER for the PB_RETURN and WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE TRIGGER:
    SET_ITEM_PROPERTY ('BLK_UPDATE.PB_RETURN_WORK_REQ', ENABLED, PROPERTY_TRUE);
    and I made sure there was no " SET_ITEM_ON_OR_OFF('BLK_UPDATE.PB_RETURN_WORK_REQ', FALSE);" statements after the above code, but, the "Return" PB is still in grey; in other words, it is still not accessible when my form is called.
    Perhaps, I need to place the above SET_ITEM_PROPERTY code in a different trigger other than the triggers mentioned above, uh? Any thoughts on this?
    Manu,
    You are absolutely right that the "SET_ITEM_ON_OR_OFF" is an ih-house written procedure which is defined/stored in the Attached Libraries. (I should have checked before making the "built-in" assumption. Thanks for catching and clarifying this.) Please help me with the following questions:
    How do I view the procedure in the Attached Libraries???
    Thanks in advance,
    Jinlan

  • Push Button Problem in IC Web Client

    Hi Everyone,
    I have got an issue here. Iam working on IC Webclient.
    I have got a BSP page wherein I have an input field for the Printer Name. I also have a dropdown list box for that. I have a push button  and after clicking on which I want some database updates to be done.
    But whats happening is once I take the Printer value from the dropdown list box only, the database updates are being made.
    My aim is after I take the value from the dropdown and then click on the push button, thn only, the database updates needs to be done.
    Please help me out.
    Its too urgent.
    Thanks an Regards,
    Bhargava Kavuri.

    Hi Gaurav,
                     I gor confused with CRM 5.1/5.2 and CRM 2007 profile. You are on CRM 5.0 then you do following things
    1) goto tx ppoma_crm
    2) on top left under search screen, search for Positions  " Sales" and Marketing and Service one by one.
    Now assign yourself to each of these positions. ( You might find  more than one psoition when you search by above criteria. Ideally you should be able to see position names soemthing like Sales Representative, Marketing Represetative etc . I am not sure what exactly would be the name at your system because ppl might chnage the description of positions.
    Now launch UI again and you must be able to see all modules.
    Let me know if u still have any issues

  • How to upload an icon for a toolbar push button

    I'd like to be able to define/upload an icon that I can use for a new push button on a toolbar for the FB03 screen.
    1)  How can I upload the button icon?
          From here?
          ABAP User Dialogs ->Screens ->Complex Screen Elements ->GUI controls on screen
          Or somewhere totally differently?
    2)  What file format does a button icon need to be in and what is the suggested pixel size?
    This is how I'm thinking of creating the button:
      lv_icon             = '@11@'.
    adding button to toolbar
      call method gref_toolbar->add_button
       exporting
        fcode            = lv_fcode
        icon             = lv_icon
        is_disabled      = lv_is_disabled
        butn_type        = cntb_btype_button
        quickinfo        = lv_quickinfo
       exceptions
        cntl_error       = 1
        cntb_btype_error = 2
        cntb_error_fcode = 3
        others           = 4

    Hi
    In Module Pool Programming (Or Dialog Programming) we can set the icons to buttons in the Menu Painter (SE 41).
    Go to SE41 and select the FCODE for which you want to upload icon. Double Click on the FCODE it will POP a Screen
    in which you can  see the field to upload icon.
    Hope this would help you.

  • Push buttons doesn't show up in Appraisal template-(ESS,MSS)

    Hi SAP friends,
    I have template created with few sub-statuses and thus have created few push buttons to control the flow in ESS and MSS portal.
    However I do not see any pushbuttons (or radio buttons) in ESS/MSS.  Appreciate if you can guide me what all areas I was missing?  Do we need to do anything in portal or Iviews? I read somewhere in forum that we need to do some thing in Iviews, but I was not convinced with it. Appreciate your speedy suggestions as we are in critical stage of project.
    I have substatus created in In-Planning.
    I'm not using In-planning status but using sub-status.  Here is how I have mapped
    Status flow at template level:
    Outbout status - "In-PLanning"
    Outbout substatus : Enter Objectives & Goals(Employee level)
    PUSH BUTTON  - Submit for Mgr review
    Person Authorized - Aprraises
    Target status : In- PLanning
    Target substus - Manager Review

    Hi
    I think u are trying to go to previous status from sub status. From In Preparation you can come to In planning or the sub status of in planning.
    Thanks & regards,

  • Push button signal to parallel port to trigger a process

    I just need to connect a push button to the parallel port to set it as a trigger signal for a process.
    When push button is pressed, labview executes a process.
    Kindly help me how to do this, the wiring please
    Regards

    Success is Everything !!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Data Lines to be used as inputsSome parallel ports can be configured to use the data lines as inputs. It depends a great deal on the way the manufacturer designed the parallel port. With some models the data lines can be read the same way we read the control lines, by driving them to high logic so they will take on the value of an external signal. However, most parallel ports require that you set the direction bit for input. This is bit 5 in the Control register (base+2). If the port is capable of it, setting the direction bit high has the effect of making the lines tri-state so it can be driven externally. Sometimes it is also necessary to toggle bit 6 high or low. However, it should be noted that some manufacturers actually lock these bits so that software cannot change them. An example is shown below in Figure 7.
    To test whether your data lines can be used for input, try the following:
    Set bit 5 of the control register high (at base address+2).
    With nothing connected to the port, write a couple of values to the data port, and read each back after you write it.
    If the reads DON'T match the writes, your port is probably bidirectional. Setting C5 disabled the data outputs and you're reading the open inputs of the data-port buffer. If the reads DO match the writes, your port isn't bidirectional. The data outputs are still enabled, you're reading back what you wrote, and you won't be able to read external signals. If it is possible to use your data lines for input, then you just need to set control register bit 5 high and read from the value of the data lines at the base address.

  • Prob with Push Buttons in the selection screen

    Hi All,
    1) I have 6 push buttons in the selection screen(Normal Report), 3 in a first row(P11, P12, P13) and 3 in the second row(P21, P22, P23). If I press one push button(for ex P11) the other two Push buttons(P12 P13) should grey out(Inactive mode). If I press P22, P21 & P23 shoul grey out.
    2) I need color change for the Inactive push buttons.
    Thanks
    Kris

    Can you please post your selection screen definition? I don't understand what you want to achieve by greying out the other pushbuttons when one is pressed.
    Does that mean pushing one button will do nothing except greying out the buttons?
    Typically when you push a button, you want to continue to execute the required processing for that button not just grey out other pushbuttons and stay in the selection screen.
    Anyway, you can achieve that using the following logic. I am not sure how and if you can achieve the color change.
    TABLES: sscrfields.
    DATA: v_button_pushed(5).
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /1(10) p11 USER-COMMAND push1.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON 12(10) p12 USER-COMMAND push2.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON 23(10) p13 USER-COMMAND push3.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /1(10) p21 USER-COMMAND push4.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON 12(10) p22 USER-COMMAND push5.
    SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON 23(10) p23 USER-COMMAND push6.
    INITIALIZATION.
      p11 = 'Push11'.
      p12 = 'Push12'.
      p13 = 'Push13'.
      p21 = 'Push21'.
      p22 = 'Push22'.
      p23 = 'Push23'.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
      CASE v_button_pushed.
        WHEN 'PUSH1'.
          LOOP AT SCREEN.
            CHECK screen-name <> 'P11'.
            screen-input = 0.
            MODIFY SCREEN.
          ENDLOOP.
        WHEN 'PUSH2'.
        WHEN 'PUSH3'.
        WHEN 'PUSH4'.
        WHEN 'PUSH5'.
        WHEN 'PUSH6'.
        WHEN OTHERS.
      ENDCASE.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
      v_button_pushed = sscrfields-ucomm.
