What is s table in lo extraction
hi this is narendra,
i have a doubt ,is there any 's' table in lo cockpit,if it ie there can u pls help me out.
Hi,
Setup Tables:
It contains the initial Data which you need to pull from r/3. ( Nite : This does not contain the data)Setup tables are kind of interface between the application tables and extractor. LO extractor takes data from set up table while initalization and full upload and hitting the application table for selection is avoided. As these tables are required only for full and init load, you can delete the data after loading in order to avoid duplicate data. Setup tables are filled with data from application tables. The setup tables sit on top of the actual applcation tables(like VBAK,VBEP etc).During the Setup run, these setup tables are filled. Normally it's a good practice to delete the existing setup tables before executing the setup runs so as to avoid duplicate records for the same selections.part of dat-flow in LO extraction.Without setup tables you cannot extract data into BW in LO cockpit. For generic the data flow is different.Setup tables has got nothing to do in generic extraction. In Generic data is extracted directly from your table/view/FM.where as in LO,when you are loading first time data into BW using LO the system picks data from setup tables, this is to avoid not to disturb your applicationtables(databasetables) as it causes heavy burden on your system.we usually fill setup tables in the night times as it usually takes long time to fill and it locks all the users not to create any further records at the time of extraction. So we give termination time till next day before business hours start.
The init loads in BW pull data from the set up tables. The setup tables are only used in case of first init/full loads. You can delete setup tables by using t-code-LBWG Give application as 03 for MM and 11 for SD and give name of run and date of termination in future(preferably the next morning date).
T-code for filling setup tables

What is the table of future cash flows (coupan flows).
Hi experts,
Can you please tell me what is the table of future cash flows.
I am using securities module in transaction manger.
I am using t.code- TS01 for creating a deal transaction. it is generating a future cash flows ion case of bonds.
but not able to figure out in which table it is storing these flows. TPM 13 is a transaction code to see cash flows.
I need this table to devolope some BI reports
Please help.
Regards
Gaurav GuptaHi Guarav,
you can use logical databases like FTI_TR_PERIODS to create own reporting based on SAP queries, but they don't contain any data.
The cash flow data you see in TPM13 is from the TRL* tables and views, eg. TRLV_TRANS_POS or TRLV_FLOW. This data is valuation area dependant. To see transaction data you should check TRD* tables, for security account class data you better use TRS*.
Nevertheless, for BI reporting SAP offers some extractors with which you can get data from Treasury and furnish it to BI. For example, with 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS you set initial position (like TPM12). With 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS you can then provide positions for further key dates and create BI reports that valuate delta flows. The DataSource 0CFM_O01 contains information about all position relevant flows, 0FM_O02 about reversed flows.
Extractor 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS and other 0CFM* extractors are generally based on logical databases, so you can e.g. create a query based on FTI_TR_PERIODS to check results that would be extracted to BI using 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS.

What are the tables will update while loading Master data ?
Hello Experts,
What are the tables will update while loading Master data ? And requesting you to provide more information about Master data loading and its related settings in the beginning of creation infoobjects. It depends upon the type of Master data u r loading....
In all the master data loadings, for every new value of master data an SID will be created in the SID table /BI*/S<INFOOBJECT NAME> irrespective of the type of master data.
But the exceptional tables that get updated depending on the type of master data are.....
If it is a time Independent master data then the /BI*/P<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the loaded data.
If it is a time dependent master data then the /BI*/Q<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the loaded data.
If the master data is of time Independent Navigational attributes then for every data load the SID table will get updated first and then the /BI*/X<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the SID's created in the SID table (NOT WITH THE MASTER DATA).
If the master data is of time dependent navigational attributes then for every data load the SID table will get updated first and then the /BI*/Y<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated with the SID's created in the SID table (NOT WITH THE MASTER DATA).
NOTE: As said above, For all the data in P, Q, T, X, Y tables the SID's will be created in the S table /BI*/S<INFOOBJECT NAME>
NOTE: Irrespective of the time dependency or Independency the VIEW /BI*/M<INFOOBJECT NAME> defined on the top of /BI*/P<INFOOBJECT NAME> & /BI*/Q<INFOOBJECT NAME> tables gives the view of entire master data.
NOTE: it is just a View and it is not a Table. So it will not have any physical storage of data.
All the above tables are for ATTRIBUTES
But when it comes to TEXTS, irrespective of the Time dependency or Independency, the /BI*/T<INFOOBJECT NAME> table gets updated (and of course the S table also).
Naming Convention: /BIC/*<InfoObject Name> or /BI0/*<InfoObject Name>
C = Customer Defined Characteristic
0 = Standard or SAP defined Characteristic
* = P, Q, T, X,Y, S (depending on the above said conditions)
Thanks & regards

Thanks in advance .Learning where to look things up in the documentation is time well spent investing in your career. To that end, you should drop everything else you are doing and do the following:
Go to tahiti.oracle.com. Drill down to your product and version.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab you will find the complete documentation library.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what kind of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what kind of information is available there, especially the initialization parms and the data dictionary views.
Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
Do the same with the Utilities manual.
Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
- Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual.
- Look in your alert log and find all the non-default initialization parms listed at instance startup. Then read up on each one of them in the Reference Manual.
- Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
- When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.
