  • Process Chain - What is Scheduled

I haven't found an easy way to find out what PCs are scheduled to run in the future, i.e. overnite.
I know that from RSPC, I can can click on the "Job Overview" button, and filter only "Released" jobs for a particular date range.  Those jobs all say "BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER", but they don't say much about what they actually are.
Is there an easy way to get a picture of what is scheduled to run, including the PC name or description?

The way that RSPCM is configured on our system, it only shows jobs in the past, not the future.
Can RSPCM be changed to show the future?  Unless I am missing something, RSPCM doesn't seem like a very flexible screen. I don't know of a way to create different views, or customize the view for each user.

I inherited an iMac, OS X 10.6.8. The Mail system is corrupted.  I cannot close blank mail formats that opened to be written and sent.  I just get an unpleasant noise when I try to close these.  Also, I don't know what the outgoing mail link should be.
    Please help!

    Quit Mail, Trash this file...
Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop for now...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
    Reboot & test.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

what does checking mail manually mean on a macbook air, how is it done?

In Mail's preferences click on the General icon in the toolbar. Here you can set Mail to automatically check for mail Manually.
Then to check for mail you would have to click on the Get Mail icon in the mail browser window:
which is the icon that looks like an envelope.

  • What version of mail do you need for 10.6.8

what version of mail do you need for 10.6.8

Sounds like you did the Security Update and got the this version is not compatible message.
    See possible fixes here.

The update, which failed for you in Mail because you had moved Mail out of the Applications folder, where it needed to be to be found, or it was sitting inside another folder there, changed the version to 4.6 and you are getting that message because it's seeing the "old" version.

  • How do I figure out what my incoming mail server is? (Iphone5)

I believe my email was hacked. I received the error message MF messageerror domain Error 1032. I have attempted to reset my email, but I did not know what the incoming mail server was,so I could not fill out all the information.

You have to get that from your email service support.

  • HT2500 what is alias mail?

What is alias mail or is it alias address?

Here's wiki's definition of that term.
And I found that by googling "alias address".  There are lots of other references to that term if you do that search.
While I believe you could use that with OSX's Postfix MTA I would think it would be up to the email server's you use to support that functionality.

  • What is schedule Condition is Actions

    Hi Guru
What is schedule Condition is Actions
    Thanks
    Mahi

    Hi Mahesh,
Schedule condition just helps in scheduling the action and makes it available in the action tab for execution.
When an action is scheduled automatically, the executions  is done either immediately, when saving or via a selection report.
If a start condition also exist, before executing the action, the start condition will be checked.
    Wish this helps.

  • Hello, what is the mail of apple for applying for financial credit?

hello, what is the mail of apple for applying for financial credit?

The application process will be detailed on the web site for the online Apple Store in your country. If you'll tell us what country you're in, we can probably give you a link to the relevant information, assuming Apple offers financing in your country (they do not in all countries). If there is no online Apple Store, you'll have to apply for financing through an authorized Apple Dealer or your own bank.
    Regards.

  • What is causing Mail to send me e-mail out of my own inbox/sent folder

I don't really know how to easily describe this, but here goes.  This started yesterday. I get a message in my inbox from a previous e-mail correspondent. When I open the message it is actually an old message from in my inbox or sent folder that is not to (or from) the person that supposedly sent me the current mail.  It could be to me from a completely different source or it could be from me to a completely different recipient.  What could be causing this?
I have an iMac 22.5 inch running OSX 10.7.3
I loaded ClamXav and ran it.  It found two threats and isolated them.  I saw those threats in other posts and I think they are benign.  The files are two .emlx files.  they are identified as phishing threats.
I previously was infected with the Flashback Trojan but found it and performed the Apple OS update.  I have since changed all my passwords, but I am still getting these funky e-mails.  This afternoon I received a reply from a correspondent.  When I opened the reply, it was an actual reply, but in the thread it had an e-mail I had received a year ago from a banking site with registration information embedded in the thread!   The correspondent didn't mention this, so I don't think she saw it.  When I replied back the embedded bank e-mail was gone from the thread.  I've searched through support and I don't see anything like this.
    Very strange -

I think the virus thing is a red herring.  ClamXav identifies the threats as:
    Heuristics.Phishing.Email.SpoofDomain
The "Heuristics" label means that nothing in the message positively identified it as a phishing attempt, but something about the way links were formatted within the message made it look suspicious enough to warn you that it might be. Those are the messages that usually need to be read first to make certain they aren't something you need to keep.
I don't know how to find the offending files now anyway.  The window that came up and told me the two infected files in ClamXav is gone, and when I try to go to the logs it shows every file searched.  Knowing the first file was 6-something-something.emlx allowed me to narrow it down until I found the entry in the log, but I don't remember the other file.  And how do I go to my inbox and find 686.emlx in order to open it and put it in the trash.  Maybe I can open it from finder.
It's possible that those two messages were already in your Junk or Trash mailboxes and have been deleted already, so that's why they aren't being detected any more.
To find those entries in your scan log, type Command-F to bring up the find dialog, enter "FOUND" without the quotes in capitol letters in the "Find:" box and un-check the "Ignore Case" box. Only that most recent part of the log is visible in the window, so if you don't find them at first use the "▲ Earlier |" button in the lower right hand corner of the log window to see more. That should tell you the path to where that message was at the time. Probably something like:
    ~/Library/Mail/<mailaccountname>/INBOX.imapmbox/Messages/
where "~" is your home folder at /Users/<yourusername>/
If and when you find the file, just double-click it to open it in Mail and decide what you need to do with it.
Anyway, I don't think this has ANYTHING to do with the problem I was having
    Agree.
