What CPU should i buy for my Mac Mini 1.1?

I've bought my first ever Mac off eBay for a great price, only thing is it's an old Mac Mini and it probably is going to need upgrading. Although i've never had a Mac i've been upgrading PCs for years so i'm not necessarily new to getting my hands dirty. I've sourced a new hard drive for it as it only had 80gb and i've looked over many tutorials and videos on how to replace it and i'm feeling pretty confident on replacing it. Thing is though, I thought whilst i'm already opening the case to upgrade the hard drive should i upgrade the 1.66 ghz intel core duo CPU to an intel core 2 duo? I've look on eBay and saw quite a few, would this one fit?

What's the difference between them?
Don't really want to spend too much, but if I have to i'll wait a bit and save up some money. Do you think this is worth it? As the CPUs on eBay with the M socket are only £10-20 so I thought for that price it must be? Can you offer any other advice or tips?

Au contraire. The 1.1 mini certainly can take a CPU upgrade, but the process is certainly not for the faint of heart. Google will give you many examples.

That's it. The Samsung I have now does not scan-to-pdf.
I've heard great things about Brother, not sure which model# to look for.

I do a lot of scanning-to-pdf because I send out approvals and other paperwork with my mortgage business, and my lenders accept via email as opposed to faxing.
I'm not looking for who the leader is, I'd like to know who makes the best multi-function machine that will work properly with a mac running 10.7. I know epson is king, then canon, but I've been told brother makes a fine machine also, perhaps someone can point me to the model they've had best luck with.

What a good email program for the Mac?

I can't use Mac mail anymore because Comcast (or somebody) has blocked some ports and Comcast can't tell me what the problem is. The problem seems to be with ingoing and outgoing ports but Comcast no longer shows an ougoing port in preferences so I can't change it. I've been using Comcast's email and it's not an option. It's too ugly and unstable.
So my question is....can some of you give me your opinions as to a good free user-friendly email client and tell me why you like it? Email is something I use real often and would like a nice program to work with.

Strangely, Comcast acted as if the Outgoing ports don't exist any more. I kept asking what the number of the port was and the Comcast person kept sidetracking me. It doesn't appear in preferences. I don't think they know anything about other email clients and can't answer our questions. I don't know why email has to be such a problem. I liked Mac mail well enough but just can't get it to work any more.

I want to know what HDMI adaptor is appropriate for my MAC book

I have a macbook, baught in 2008/2009 I believe, im not sure. I don't know which HDMI adaptor I should buy for it... if anyone can prvide me with a picture of what the cable should look like, I would be grateful; or the serial number, anything really.

I've installed Gemini duplicate file deleter and its still in trial mode but with limitations. It show you what it "can" do.. but wont do it unless you by the full version... cNet gives it good reviews but I want to make sure that there isnt a better one or a more efficient one for free... help...
