What is standard task for sending notification

Is there any standard common workflow task which are using SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION for sending notification?

As far as I am able to get a clear understanding of your question, there will not be a common task for the notifications. It depends on the scenario in which it is used. You can find a lot of standard tasks which use the SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION. Just use the where-used list of the business object in the business object builder to view the list.
It would be better if you could provide some more details as to what you are planning to do and other things so that the answers can help you.

Standard Task not sending internet Mail to SAP User

Through Standard Task TS00007989(Outbound, error handling with IDoc) able to send workitems to SAP Inbox when an error occurs in IDOC, however would like to have these workitems sent as an internet mail , the email address would be in my userid in SAP.
Email address is already given in my userid with the communication method as INT E-mail.
Would like to have a solution for this as soon as possible.

How to select email account for sending notifications

I have three calendars (for example, C1, C2, C3). My Mail application has 3 email accounts (A1, A2, A3).
How can I make the calendar send notifications using a selected email account?
For example, I want all calendar email notifications to be sent using account A2.

If I change, all my emails would go out the selected account.
Correct.
I routinely use that method, which means that I must select a different account in the "New Message" window "From:" field when I choose to send mail from a different account.

Assigning Tasks and Sending Notifications to Users Dynamically

BPM Experts,
We have a BPM process which gets triggered from a JWD application. The issue which we are having is as follows
1.Dynamic allocation of Single user to a task is not working. The approach we have taken is WD application will send User Unique Id from context and it will be mapped to getPrincipal exression.
2.Assign to task to multiple users, first in complex type we are not able to set the cardinality 0..n , it accepting 0..1 or 1..1...To handle this we have appended each of IUsedId sent as string in WD with special characters and tried using tokenize function and then getPrincipals even that also not working
Any quick response and pointers will be highly appreciated
FYI... we cannot use Portal UME groups in this scenario

Does Oracle ever automatically create internal adhoc roles for sending notifications? If yes, then when?

Hi All,
I am aware that the Oracle workflow directory service creates a role whenever a new user / responsibility is created and that workflow notifications can be sent to these users through their respective roles.
Also, for external parties such as suppliers or customers who do not have an account in the E-Business Suite, adhoc roles can be created in order to enable them to receive notifications.
While going though the workflow status of POAPPRV worlflow, i noticed that in one of the 'E-mail PDF PO to Supplier' notification, the recipent was some ADHOC<<some_random_number>>PO.
Can anyone please shed some light on this?

CDR: What is the schedule for sending records?

Call Manager (8.x) can export CDR files to an external server (a billing server) via FTP but I can't determine on what schedule this would occur. Does anyone happen to know when the CDR files would be sent to the billing server? And can the billing server be any customer server that can accept FTP data transfers? Any pointers or guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Dan

The interval is one minute by default I think. It's configured in Enterprise Parameters with the CDR File Time Interval parameter.
It will export to any old server properly configured to accept the SFTP/FTP connection... but you would want something running to read all that data into a database for reporing...

OIM 11g: send direct link to provisioning tasks in email notification

Hi everyone!
What do I want to achieve: I want to send email notification to admins in case if some task in OIM has finished with errors and this notification must have direct link to this task.
To find direct link to task detail page I used document ID 748447.1. I found that this link must be formed in next way:
http://ip.address:port/xlWebApp/OpenTasks.do?method=loadTaskDetails&entityKey=<TaskID>
To create this link I must insert ID of the task to the end of the string.
Next I created email template via design console and attached it in notification tab of the task to status ‘R’.
The problem is next: during creation email template there are any variables that holds task ID.
How can I obtain ID of task in an email template?

I use a standard mechanism for sending notifications - via email template. This is a standard mechanism has a number of variables that are dynamically calculated at the time of posting. Among these available variables do not have the required me taskid.
Is there any mechanism which would give an opportunity to expand the list of dynamically calculated variables in a way that I figured taskid?
Or what do you mean by the phrase "+have to fetch it from the database+"?
I do not know how to connect the logic of its own calculation of the required variables in the template notifications.

WS14500013 Standard task        14508044   WebAppr-LIA sending notification

We are using    WS14500013 for SRM shopping cart
and using Standard task   14508044   WebAppr-LIA for sending notification to Approver.
Task is standard one, for maitaining Header and Footer in task , we used SE61 .
We maintain Header text and Footer text in both Language ENGLISH and German.
But in same scenario , some time user getting Notification in English some time in German.
We have created same two Shopping cart on same time. Notification was sent to user first one
is in English and after that second one was in German.
some time header/Footer text coming in English some time in German for same user in notification.
Kindly suggest me.

I am trying to make some changes in the screen template for the notification screen for F2 notification type.
On creating a new Notification by copying from the std. F2 type, When I try to see the details in the Item tab at the header for the Overview Sub-Tab, I am fing Greyed code group option which is not similar to the standard F2 notification.
Please advice how to go for this.

Hello Vivek,
first of all I agree with my precessor that the standard settings for the notification are not copied when you create a notification type from an existent notification type.
In this case you have to go through all customizing steps in QCC2
Once this has been done you can then change the appearence of your notification.
If you want to add your own additional subscreens you should look at the exit QQMA0001 or QQMA0008.
