I updated to 7.1 and now I am having trouble sending pictures by text and also cannot get my emails to send from my Iphone. Help!

The SMTP server is the outgoing mail server (computer) that is managed by your Email Service Provider. If you are having issues sending emails, the settings for your outgoing mail (including any password changes) may have to be adjusted.

Try these basic troubleshooting steps first
Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage (try any webpage). If you can load a webpage, then your device has Internet access. If you are unable to load a webpage, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Try to use an alternate Internet connection if available:
Try a different Wi-Fi connection
If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

What is aspect ratio and how can you change it?

Please refer to my other post for more information on these photos. The photos I am referring to are the ones that appear blank in the edit screen.
When I try to export these photos to facebook using the exporter, it says that IPhoto can only deal with photos with an aspect ratio of 3:1 or lower, and that the photos selected have a greater aspect ratio. What is aspect ratio and if possible, how do you change it? This may be directly linked to my other problem with the same pics.

I'm having the same trouble. Zapplications will upload only 1920x1920 photos. With iPhoto I can't get past the automatic ratio of 1920x1440!!! There MUST be some way to customize photo size on iPhoto!! Please help!! I've tried cropping the photo to a square and still can't get past this ratio thing.

Hi,
This can happen when the system gets confused about some network connection. It can even happen sharing a printer.
It is a harmless bug and you can change it back to its name without the number easily, in the System Preferences, Sharing panel, computer name.

A cell either contains:
1) what you typed (or entered) OR
2) the result of a formula
to enter a formula, select a cell, then type the "=" sign then the formula, then enter
to enter a number oer text, then type the number(s) or text you want, then the enter key
the contents of a cell is the last thing you typed into that cell. If there was a formula, then selecting the cell and typing will result in losing the formula.
B3 will change as you modify the cell contents in B1 and B2

Please help....I hate iTunes to begin with. Especially the latest they have come up with. Layout drives me crazy. This sounds like you have some unchecked tracks. These are skipped during track to track playback. The track names are slightly greyed out in the album view. You can normally see the check boxes from the Songs view or you can change the status via the rght-click context menu.

Your operating system just stops working. Its like there is a ghost in the software that stops it form moving. I have to sit and wait for it to make up its mind to move again. What is the problem?

Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner and choose "About this Mac" Doesn't change anything, though. Unless you update your OSX, the programs simply won't install. the warning really means what it says...

Try this.
Check your username and password in the outgoing mail server setting. Fill it in even of it says that it's optional.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>choose the email account>account name, tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email username and password and see if that works for you.
