I keep getting calls from ( system notice URGENT (HELP.S4
PLEASE HELP.

This is a phishing attempt.
To avoid receiving any Calls like this, you can adjust your privacy to, Change Allow Callss from... "anyone" to "people on my Contact list only".

  • I can't eject a disk--what to do? URGENT help needed :-)

    Hey everyone, I put a CD with photos in my Macbook, of the sort you get if you ask the photo developers' lab to put your images on a CD. I'm trying to eject it but it won't let me. I have tried dragging and dropping the desk top icon to the trash, going to Finder and ejecting via the command on the menu bar, and via the symbol next to the disk name in the finder window, and none worked. I get a message saying 'the disk QSS_CD is in use and could not be ejected. Try quitting applications and try again'
    What is this, what am I supposed to do? The worse is I need to go out with my macbook in a few hours and I need to shut it down, and I'm not sure I should even do that with the bloomin' CD inside. any help will be VERY much appreciated, especially if it comes quickly; I've been up the better part of the night trying to finish something, and I need to hit the sack like soon!!

    Well it sounds to me like one of the applications you're running is using the CD to import or view the photos on the CD. If you were trying to import all of the photos into your iPhoto library, make sure that the pictures themselves were copied into iPhoto's folder on your macbook, and iPhoto isn't just allowing you to view the photos that are still on the cd.
    When all else fails, you can go into applications, utilities, and then activity monitor and select any application you think might be using the cd. I'd start with iPhoto or Preview. And then try to eject the cd, by either pushing eject in any finder window or just pushing the eject button on your keyboard in the upper right hand. Good luck.

    I managed to resolve it by creating a new account, see if it helps.
    The problem is that my old products are registered to an old id and the cc is registered to this new id.
    Am writing to Adobe to port one or the other over.

    Unfortunately, these are well-known scamming and phishing attempts.  Please do continue to Block and Report as Abuse all of these calls as Skype is alerted to the newest accounts being used for these attempts. 
    Depending upon your circumstances as to how you use Skype, set your privacy, audio and video call, and instant message settings to receive calls from people on your contact list only.  While doing so makes it harder for true friends and colleagues to find you on Skype, it also makes you more invisible to the malcontents who will not quit.

  • Repeated calls from a blocked sender: SYSTEM NOTIC...

    I get these calls all the time, and blocking the sender does not help!
    WHY CAN'T YOU STOP THESE CALLS!  WHY DOES BLOCK SENDER NOT WORK?
    I like Skype, but if you can't solve a simple problem like this I will have to disengage.

    I am having the same problem. I have bloked them in all possible ways. I already reported this problem a couple of months ago. No solution yet.

    This is really enoying. You should sue theis guy big time. He is really causing a big problem to your service.
    I can not do what you suggest, because I have to receive calls from people who are not in my list.
    As for to report these incidents you should provide a straight email address to do that
    I am using Win 7 and have been with Skype from many years.

  • Urgent help needed! How do I use Time Machine to restore my System disc?

    I need urgent help. First I discovered that my Library folder was empty. When I tried to restore the library to an earlier version via Timemachine it would not let me because it said the system was in use. Trying to start-up from another system on another internal drive and using various disc repairs resulted in the whole volume to disappear.
    Question is how do I get the earlier system from my Timemachine backup drive? I have another Mac where I can attach the TIme machine HD to. Can I restore it from there and then copy the files over to my corrupted disc? All my programs are on there as well, which would take me days to re-install and then there are the other bits, emails, photos etc. Can anyone help?

    I don't know what you mean by "nick those." Time Machine will put everything back the way it was at the time of the backup (unless you'd excluded things).
    Do you mean you want to restore things from the period after the backup you selected?
    For Address Book or Apple Mail, start the application, then +Enter Time Machine,+ navigate to your latest backup, and you'll have a prompt to restore. For Mail, you can restore an entire mailbox. When you exit from TM, you'll see a new folder in your Mail sidebar with the restored items, so you can sift through them and move, delete, or leave them as you wish.
    Other items, you'll have to locate and restore via the Finder > Time Machine.

  • Urgent Help! Errors in source system(RSM     340)

    Need urgent help. Issue in production.
    I added fields to the COPA datasource, by changing the operating concern. I recreated the datasource with the same name replicated into BW & ran delta again. The whole procedure worked fine in Dev & Quality but in production it gives me the below error. I thought its a delta issue so I deleted the data & try reload but still same issue. Below is the error. I checked the connection with R3. its an ok. All other loads work fine. Before deleting delta, it gives below error & when you rerun, it finishes with zero records. I also tried activating update, transfer & ods & cube in BW. I also asked functional guy to check operating concern & its active. kindly help

    caller 09 error mainly because of source(target system) and destination(bw system) not configured correctly.
    i think you get the error message as follows. file is in the client workstation as like.
