What is that plastic flip-put thing on the charging brick?

Yesterday was the first time I noticed that plastic hook-like thing that you can flip out from the body of the white charging brick. Is that for hanging the adapter cord onto, or do you use it for something else?

those are for wrapping the cord around so that the charger is a nice neat package.

Keep iPhone on wall charger for ten minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to respond.

I play Gardens of Time on Facebook. Now, when I try to send or receive gifts a security warning sign comes up saying the site is not encrypted and a third party will be able to read the info and gives you a choice to continue or not. A side note...I have no problem playing mp4 files from internetarchive.org.
QT on windows has no problem playing files if I save them to disk first...although QT plugin crashes all my windows browsers (ffox, ie) and this didn't use to happen.
I can guarantee no changes to my axis video files...haven't touched the camera for years and I have no problem streaming camera directly, although it is probably mjpeg.

Hello - Not everyone lives in Silicon Valley or New York City. I have a relatively slow internet connection so it takes about 2 hours to download a 45-minute tv episode. Yesterday I did that, and today I went to watch it and it had been put back in the cloud! "No problem," says Apple, "You can download it again." It takes f**** 2 hours to download it again. How can I keep Itunes from putting things I've already downloaded back into the cloud?

You don't. They are in the cloud as soon as you make a purchase. As in immediately/right now. They don't get uploaded from yoru computer to the cloud.

Some basics please, what vintage is your MBP, have you plugged anything else into the wall socket to verify that it is live? which light doesn't turn on, the charger or the MBP?
Hold the power button down for 15 seconds, wait for 2 then press it normally and see te MBP it turns on

last night i opened my ipod and used a phone app, the app froze so i closed it. Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My phone was at 1% then I put it on the charger and it automatically went to 38%. What is happening, is my phone water damaged? I fell it in snow for 30 minutes but no water in it.

Snow is water so it could have been water damaged if left in snow for that long.
