What is that symbol in front of the Podcast listing

In iTunes our podcast Midwest Movie Review has a funky delete like symbol with an X on it... see it????

What does that mean? Is there a key to goofy symbols and updates for podcasters? Is this the place?
How does one remove this mark?

Interesting... my podcast has this strange symbol too (just a square, no X though), since I included the feed on ITMS on August 2005.
I double-checked my xml file now (that I edit by hand) and I simply could not find anything odd (not even a space).
You can check the symbol on:
podcasts --> International --> Brazilian --> Marcos Lacerda - Podcast de Variedades
And the interesting thing is that it keeps correctly sorted by alphabetical order despite the symbol (it would be great if this could bring mine to the top of the list) :-D

In the Project Library where I can scroll through all my projects there is a little symbol that looks a bit like the WIFI icon cocked on its side just to the left of the filmstrip preview. It is not next to all my projects and sometimes there is an exclamation mark on top of it. What is that symbol?

The symbol indicates the project has been shared. If it has an exclamation point it means the project has been altered since it was shared.

It's in the scene where a garage bank is playing and a guitar player reaches over and turn a knob on the ipad rack. I can't find it searching mixer, audio,mixer, plugin rack, etc. Does anyone now what it's called?

It sure looks like StompBox to me. Look at it again. I've watched the video of the ad 5 times in full screen and I still think it's StompBox.
Go to the App Store on the iPad. Tap on What's Hot at the top. Swipe down to the middle of the screen. Tap on Apps from iPad TV ads. Look through the apps yourself.
If it isn't StompBox, then it must be GarageBand. They are only showing two music/mixer type apps in there. The only other music related app in there is Spin Play.

All files from x hard drive or mp3 disc have a "!" symbol in front of the song titles in my library, and i cant find them on my ipod

The exclamation point means iTunes cannot locate these tracks/files in the location you originally imported them from. Meaning either they were deleted or moved to another location. Right->click on any track and select Get Info. Then under the Summary tab look to see the location where iTunes is looking for the track.
If nothing else, removed all your missing tracks and re-import them.

You most likely installed adware along with something else you recently installed.
You can either follow Apple's manual instructions for removing it, or the free automated tool, AdwareMedic.

I am using Firefox Version 17. Previous versions had a triangle on the right end of the toolbar that would show a list of tabs open on the window. I no longer see it.

How do I tag a MP3 file as a Podcast to make it go in the Podcast list

Hi I have a file that is a podcast. I have tagged it as a audiobook.
I want it to show up in the list as a Podcast, not in the Music list, but it wont go in.
What do you have to alter, r what do I have to do to make iTunes class it as a Podcast and go in the Podcast list?

Podcasts downloaded from the iTunes Store have a hidden flag that marks them as podcasts in iTunes. There is no easy way of getting to this flag. I think someone posted instructions on how to do it through the terminal. If you search, you may find them. I just don't remember. Sorry.

Command-Option-Escape does the same as
Apple Menu > Force Quit...
It opens a floating box that lists current major Applications and their status (e.g., Not responding) and allows you to force quit any single Application or re-launch the Finder.

We have 50 conference rooms all on the same network and are considering equiping each one with an Apple TV for AirPlay Mirroring our iPad 2s to the rooms projector, or TV. What is the maximum number of Apple TVs that can be displayed in the AirPlay menu to select the correct Apple TV for the conference room being used?

From what you're saying it sounds as though you wouldn't want to Airplay to all AppleTVs at once, just identify them when that specific room in use?
This is one of those uncharted territories wheer most domestic users will not require such a set up - Apple provide no official info about this, but they'd be your best source to ask.

There is this transaction FBL3N, which you might be aware of. Now, the requirement is to add 4 new fields in the output list of the standard program.
The fields are:
NAME1   KNA1
LOKKT    BSEG
USNAM   BKPF
TXT50      SKA1 -> SKAT
Please tell me how to do this apart from implementing the note 310886. What are the other ways?

I agree, start reading 984305 - Line item: Definition of special fields (T021S)
Then for non BSEG/BKPF fields, better use BAdI FI_ITEMS_CH_DATA (1323512) and not the good old BTE 1650, the BAdI will be called once with the full internal table with special fields already filled, when the BTE will be executed for each and every record without special fields, so harder to optimize, and may require access to BKPF/BSEG for missing fields.

How can you find out what number comment you are on within the comments list?

I have looked around but I cannot seem to find an answer to what seems a very simple request.
I have a PDF with over a hundred comments on it and I am making (slow) progress through the comments list. I would like to estimate how long this job will take me to complete by looking at the time I have spent on the job and a which comment number I am at (e.g. I am currently at comment 60 of 120 - half way through).
I cannot seem to find a way to do this without manually counting the number of comments I have been through already - which seems a watse of my time.
Is there an easy way to do this? I am sure I am missing something simple here.

Sorry, I guess I mis-spoke. I thought that it will be numbered sequentially
for the entire document, but I guess it's per page.
The problem with numbering comments is that their internal order does not
necessarily correspond to their physical location in the file. The internal
order is based on the order in which they were created. Having said that,
it is possible to generate a summary of the comments with sequential
numbers for the entire file (not just page by page), but it would require a
custom-made script.

In version 31.3 the arrow that let me pull down the recipient list to an email I'm composing has gone. It's impossible to check if all are listed.

Got it! Thanks so much. A little more detail for the benefit of others: you'll find the addressing area resize handle immediately above the white text area, in the narrow part of the grey area below all of the address field, subject line, scroll boxes and icons.

I can find my Podcast in the Itunes store but not in the Podcast list.

If I search for my podcast in the Itunes store it shows up. So, I click subscribe, and everything looks like its working. When I check the Podcast section of my library I don't see it. The link to my podcast is http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=358348024. The feed is http://www.rodsotr.com/RODSOTR/Podcast/rss.xml. I'm hoping the issue is just with the itunes on my computer. Any ideas?

It works perfectly well for me: I can't suggest why it isn't for you. When you click the 'Subscribe' link in the Store page you should see a 'Downloads' item appear in the sidebar below 'Purchased' showing the progress of downloading the top episode, and above all that in the top section of the sidebar under 'Podcasts' you should see the podcast.
If you don't: try going to the 'Advanced' menu, choosing 'Subscribe to podcast' and entering the URL of your feed and see what happens.
