What is the AE's power output in watts?

Hello!
I've been unable to find out what the Airport Extreme's power output (not consumption) is in watts.
This spec isn't on Apple's page of AE tech specs.
Can anyone tell me and give me a source link?
Thank you!

"nominal" would be an average reading over a number of different distances. Readings would be somewhat higher if a computer were close to the router, and obviously somewhat less if the signal has to pass through 3-4 walls.
The figure doesn't really tell you very much since there really is no way to accurately predict wireless performance in advance in any given situation due to all the variables involved.

  • What's the best way to output a high quality ready to send to the printer PDF?

    I'm designing a photo book for a friend and we're having output issues. We're working with a professional printer but for some reason our prints keep coming out soft or pixelated. The images are 300 dpi and formatted correctly for an InDesign document so the issue is likely output.
    What's the best way to output the HIGHEST quality PDF you can out of InDesign? Everyone seems to have different answers.
    Thanks in advance!

    Check a couple things.
    One would be for broken links. If there are broken links then ID will use the preview image instead of the linked image.
    Another would be to select an image that prints poorly in the Links Panel and check the effective resolution. If it is below your stated 300 dpi then the image has been enlarged greater than 100%.
    Then just use the PDF/X-4 profile for your PDF.

    Hi,
    Remember that when we are deploying a wireless setup we should always do a site survey to determine the amount of APs you need, power levels to use on each AP, where to locate each AP so that you can get the required mbps per client on each AP since as you know wireless is half duplex and also a shared medium.
    Also depending on how god the signal quality is too each client they will get a required data rate.
    There would not be a specific number since this will all depend on the amount of clients you need to support on the site and bandwidth per client.
    Here is the link for the FAQ of a site survey.

  • What is the difference between power spectrum and PSD?

    Hi all,
    I input a time domain signal to the FFT power spectrum VI and FFT PSD VI seperately, and got two  outputs in frequency domain with similar shapes but different magnitudes.
    I refer to some signal and system textbook, and find PSD(w)=1/pi*Power Specrum or equivalently PSD(f)=2* Power Specrum.But as I observed from the LabVIEW outputs, this relation is not correct. I input a 1KHz sin wave with amplitude=1, Fs=512KHz, #s=2048 , the PS peak is 0.5 and the PSD peak is around 0.013.
    So I wondered what's the real formula LabVIEW is using to calculate PSD?
    Sunny

    PSD is related to spectrum resolution, thus related to sample rate.
    df= Sample rate/ #samples
    I think they follow this relationship:
    Amplitude FFT power spectrum = Amplitude PSD * df * 1.5

  • What is the minimum pulse width output for PCI7831R?

    I have a problem to generate the signal output by using PCI7831R.
    I have used Labview FPGA program and PCI7831R with my experiment.
    When I tried to output a signal which has a pulse width less than 2msec, Its pulth width becomes double or triple longer than I set.
        For example, if I set the pulse width 1msec, its output pulse width became 3msec...
                              But if I set the pulse width 2.5msec, its output pulse width is just 2.5msec.
    Internal clock is 40MHz and theoretical rate is 53.5MHz. And the cycle time of main loop is less than 0.5msec.
    (I believe those value are fine to generate the 1msec pulth width output.)
    My questions are
    -What is the minimum pulse width for PCI7831R?
    -Do you have any idea to solve this problem?
    I attached the picutre of my VI.
    (because this picture is a little old, It has broken wires. But it is fine now.)
    If conditions are all good, this VI will output the signal during "Injection Duration(micros)" micro-second.
    Thanks,

    I'm sorry I could figure out what was the problem.
    And I also find the minimum output pulse width on the catalog (12.5nsec).
    Thanks,
    Kaoru

  • What's the usage of Digital Output.vi (kei224v6.llb)

     I would be gratefull if you could inform me for the usage of Digital Output.vi in kei224v6.llb.
    I'm using Keithley 224 Programmable Curent Source.
    Thanks

    Hi thanserwood,
    the Model 2243 is an optional IEEE-488 interface for the Model 224 Programmable
    Current Source. This interface adds extra versatility to the Model 224 by allowing the transmission of data and commands
    over IEEE-488 bus. The interface provides all the logic necessary to interface the Model 224 to the bus using standard
    IEEE-488-1978 protocol. Additionally, the Model 2243 incorporates a separate digital I/O port that may be used to
    interface the Model 224 to other digital instrumentation.
    The digital I/O port consists of four input and four output lines as
    well as IEEE-488 common and +5VDC. The outputs will drive one TTL load.
    The instrument can be programmed to generate an SRQ upon any change in
    the four bit input data.
    In the manual you will find further information.
    Regards
    Indiana

  • What's the smallest sine wave output from PCI-5401(50&60Hz)

    Want to know the minimal sine wave output from the PCI-5401. Primary use for tests with 50 & 60Hz, with different loads.

    Hello,
    Are you talking with respect to frequency? Using the DDS mode, the frequency resolution is 9.31mHz. You can find more in the appendix B of the manual. I am providing the link below. Please do let me know if you have any questions.

  • What is the best way to output audio to my DJ system?

    I have a few questions I was hoping you all could help me out with!
    First off I am a mobile DJ and I DJ primarily weddings and use the program djay.
    I just need a primary output and a second output to cue songs.
    Currently I DJ using the 1/8 stero jack on my macbook to the RCA connectors on my mixer.
    Is this considered "digital" ? And is this a quality connection?
    I read that the output on the mac is analog/optical, what does this mean?
    What is my best way to connect my mac to my DJ system? What type of product will be best?
    I don't want to spend too much. Thank you so much for your time!

  • What are the settings for video output to consumer blu-ray DVD players?

    I have a Maya animation rendered at 1920 x 1080.  There is no audio yet, butI will create SFX for the audio track. The animation was rendered for 24 fps viewing, but in truth I don't think I would notice if the playback was 23.97 fps.  I have Premeire Elements 7 and there are no pre-sets for HD or Blu-Ray.  It's not clear to me that I can do this in Elements 11 either or if I need to buy Premeire Pro to do what I want.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Thanks Ann.
    I know I'll need to upgrade.  Since my editing needs are infrequent I just wanted to find out if I had to spring for Pro or if Elements11 would do.  Also, I'm trying to figure out what the settings should be.  I read about 24fps progressive (for film?) and 23.97 fps progress (for video?).  It is a short animation that I want to loop for a Point of Purchase video display.
    Thanks again for taking the time to answer.

  • Quicktime PRO-RES 422 Files... What is the best format for output in Adobe Premier?

    I have recently enrolled on a university film makers course and up until this point i have been a Windows user. At the university everyone uses Final Cut Pro as this seems to be the standard software, at least at my level. My question is this; I have a bunch of Quicktime Pro-Res 422 files and i was wondering what would be the best Adobe Premier preset to export it as, In order to achieve the best quality possible?
    Jak.

    I have a bunch of Quicktime Pro-Res 422 files and i was wondering what would be the best Adobe Premier preset to export it as, In order to achieve the best quality possible?
    You're going to have to clarify this a bit more. Do you have ProRes files you want to edit with in Premiere? If so, you don't need to convert them--as long as you have QT installed, you can edit them, even on a PC.
    Or are you saying that you've already edited, and now you want to do a final export for viewing, or for editing elsewhere?

  • T510 what is the factory default Power Plan

    I  have a Lenovo T510.
    In ThinkVantage there are various Power Plans...eg Energy Saver, Timers Off, Power Source Optimized, Maximum Performance, Maximum Battery Life,
    Can someone advise me which Power Plan Lenovo sets it to when it is brand new from the factory.
    Thank you

    Hi Alex 1945:
    Okay, I'm typing this on my T510 (bought in December 2010).  Lenovo repair center re-imaged my drive and I lost the Energy Saver Profile, which you have.  Here are all the power plan profiles that are available on my T510
    1.  Thinkpad Default
    2.  Power Source Optimized
    3.  Timers Off (Presentation)
    4.  Maximum Battery Life
    5.  Maximum Performance
    6.  Video Playback
    At least when I got my T510 brand new (pre re-imaging), Energy Saver was selected.  Wish I could get that profile back.  It set all the options at two green dots.  I really got a very long battery life using that profile.  Currently using Power Source Optimized, which does well but doesn't get me the battery life of the Energy Saver (although the difference is small).

  • What is the best way to output query result in jsp page?

    I have several pages with 2-3 queries on each one.
    My jsp pages call a class that I've created, the class will create a connection with the db, execute the query and returns the ResultSet to the jsp page. Then I iterate the RS on the jsp page.
    Is there a better way of sending the data back to the jsp? I was thinking of .xml.

    Send it back as a java.util.List, or some other Collection. Then iterate through the collection. My preference is to make a Bean of the date that represents a Row on the ResultSet and put those in the List. Then when we get to the JSP, iterate the List to get the beans, and call get methods to get the values...
      /* In a method that traverses ResultSet and fills a List of  beans... */
      List data = new ArrayList();
      while(results.next())
        MyBean mb = new MyBean();
        mb.setProperty1(rs.getString(1)); //But give properties good names
        mb.setProperty2(rs.getString(2)); //Not 'Property1 and Property2
        data.add(mb);
      return data;If you are using JSTL you can do something like this:
      <c:set var="myBeans" value="${theDbObject.results}"/> //Assuming the above method was called 'getResults()'
      <table>
      <c:forEach var="mb" items="${myBeans}">
        <tr><td>${mb.property1}</td><td>${mb.property2}</td>...</tr>
      </c:forEach>
      </table>
