Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

Apple requires each Apple ID be associated with a different email address. Perhaps that is why you haven't received the email. Or you received the email and it is in your Junk Mail folder.

If it was the contact form for the forum mod team then it is normally about 3 working days as all mails are dealt with strictly in turn also if it was that form you would have had a confirmation immediately you sent the contact form as it opens a new web page with a reference number on it and also you will be personally contacted by phone or email

I'm in the UK and I cannot get the speech recognition to work in Google Translate.
Anyone else having the same problem, not sure if it's my ipad 2 or the software's problem?
It keeps saying "Speech recognition not available. Check network or try again."
All my other apps work fine through Wifi and and Google Search and Chrome works fine through speech recognition. Strange.

TS2972 I have the ID between computer and apple TV the same, I've changed the pasword and still cannot get the two to share. They stopped sharing a week ago. Best to simply unplug and start again?

I just upgraded from IPhoto7 to 9.5. Now I can't open iPhoto without a downloaded tool to bridge the gap bewteen versions. I downloaded the tool and I still get the message "To prepare the library, use the iPhoto Library Upgrader available from Apple."

I had to upgrade to Mavericks to send off the iCanendars I made in iPhoto. Then I had to upgrade my IPhoto from 7 to 9.5. Well, I installed the Upgrader, but I still get the message and can't open iPhoto. I have tried restarting the computer, but that didn't help. How do I get the computer to recognize the Upgrader?

My ipad is saying ipad disabled connect to itunes. so I connected to itunes. i have already done the recovery and am still getting the same message before. Someone please help me!

I have already tried to recover my ipad but it still keeps coming up that it is disabled and to connect to itunes. When i go to itunes it says that I require to put my passcode in on my ipad but i cant because its still disabled. Please help, I have no clue where to go from here. Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

That's because I guess that you are both using the same account, right? Please check which account you set up: Settings > iCloud and/or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Add another computer
Do these steps on the computer you are trying to add to Firefox Sync.
At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button and select Set Up Sync. The Firefox Sync Setup window will open.
Click I Have an Account.
Since you're not near the device with Sync already set up, click the I don't have the device with me link.
Sign in to your Sync account:
Enter your account email address
Enter your password
Enter your Recovery Key
Then click Next
You will see a Setup Complete screen. Click Finish to complete adding this device to your Sync account.

I updated my Macbook pro 13in to 10.7.3 and installed the combo and i still get the wifi wake up issue....can anyone help with that

At first my wifi would randomly disconnect. So I googled some things and found this blog and someone said to download the combo update, after I did that; which resolved my problem as of now it's been two days now. I got another problem, everytime I wake my computer it asked me to manually pick a wifi. It might sound rudimentary but I don't expect I really should have to do that on any computer PC or MAC. So could anyone help me with this...is this situation happening to anyone else?

First of all, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options, and set your old user account in "Automatic login". By doing this, your computer will always log in with your old account.
Then, log in your old account, where you will be able to delete the new user that OS X Mavericks forced you to create. Other users have reported the same problem
