What is the bar that appears at the top of pages and how do I get rid of it?
Whenever a page is showing on the screen, a bar appears at the top of the page with a lot of squares ending with a square that says "diagnose." It sometimes causes a printing problem when the document prints out so small that you can't read it.
It sounds like some kind of advertising. Often behaviors that affect multiple sites are caused by an add-on, particularly an extension. You may want to review your extensions on the following page and disable ALL nonessential extensions.

"Other" includes data such as iPhone settings, contacts, calendar events, Safari bookmarks/cache/cookies, email and email attachments, SMS/MMS/iMessages, notes, app data, Safari cache, cookies and bookmarks, stored passwords, search index, home screen organization, wi-fi network data, etc. It should normally be about 1 GB. I have recently purchased some apps from the app store and after downloading them, the icon that appears in the dock changes to a different icon. It is now the same icon appearing on all newly downloaded apps. Does anyone know what is happening here? Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.

Lock symbol is rotation lock : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. While types a blank document on pages, there are "invisible" boxes at the top and bottom of each page, and they only appear when I scroll over them. Does anyone know what these boxes are, and how i can get rid of them from my paper?
Those are the Header and Footer spaces. You remove them using the Document Inspector. Uncheck the "Headers" and "Footers" checkboxes shown checked here:

My iPhone 4 says it has 15 GB of "Other" in the storage bar in iTunes. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
In my case, this must be me. My iPhone has a bug - it's not any of the other things that are considered "other". It's just an issue. I've researched for over an hour, reduced every settings imagineable (Other doesn't go down - in fact, it goes up, almost like, because I freed up space, it wants to fill in the remaining space). I called Apple - after one hour of being inadvertently hung up on twice (they took my number to call me back in case disconnected and never did - amazing) and then talking to another 3 reps, they just "guessed" which I find offensive to my time - just say "I don't know but if you are willing to take a chance, here's a thought..." rather than not be able to say "I don't know". Warning: Resets DO NOT solve this problem unless you do a clean wipe out and start from scratch (w/o restoring your stuff). Two hours later, I've resolved to wipe out my phone.

The fact that you ask the question suggests that you are not in the UK. But for clarification, whether the price includes taxes depends on where you are buying. I'm sure the Apple Store will state (probably in small print at the bottom of the page) whether the price is with or without taxes and what percentage of tax is added.
For instance, here in the UK, the price on the Apple Store does include taxes, so the price shown is what you pay. This is clearly stated on their store's pages. Delivery is an extra however. I believe the the USA always adds local tax on top of the price shown. What happens elsewhere, I don't know. -
