What is the best Case/Cover/Sleeve for the iPad 2!! or combination!!

Ok, I am literally lost with all the varaities out in the market....
Now putting the Smart Cover aside... what do you think guys is the best iPad 2 case, cover, sleeve or anything... something that is slim nothing bulgy!!
or any combination of the above even with the Smart Cover...
what do you think guys
Thank you for the advice
S.

I use my iPad in some high risk situations (a classroom/my studio/field work) as well as just sitting on the couch or out on the patio. I like to "layer" so here's my arsenal.
For me the Smart Cover's a must. It makes the iPad much easier to hold, protects the screen and, being lazy, I love the instant off feature (and the blue color).
To make the iPad less slippery for classroom use I've added a Cover Buddy back in blue. It has a rubberized surface like the poly Smart Covers.

I always transport my iPad in its own compartment in this small neoprene messenger bag, which also holds accessories, a book or file, and my Kindle:

Then, for traveling and field work, I slip the iPad with the Smart Cover and Cover Buddy still on it, into this neoprene hooded case, which has a rigid plastic lining to protect the back and sides. Then that whole thing goes into the neoprene bag again.

Last but not least, my best case is a two year accidental damage warranty from Square Trade. A lot of piece of mind for 70 bucks.

  • My kind of case/sleeve for my iPad 2

I just want to share this with you...
I bought the following nifty leather sleeve for my iPad 2 for € 50.
For once something that is not made in China or Japan or Malaysia or Korea or USA - no, it's made in Turkey.
    http://www.trexta.com/Default.aspx?pageID=18&PID=540&CatID=250
That plastic stopper is very soft on my sleeve and has a half-moon cutout in the middle to allow access to the home button.
Notice that their images shown are slightly different.
Also note that the whole of the inside of the leather strap is made of Velcro so that the sleeve can be folded to any angle.
This is important, because not everyone is comfortable with the fixed angles of most covers, cases and/or folios, which will also enable accurate ajustment to avoid irritating reflections from surrounding light sources on the iPad's screen.

If you want a transparent hard case, you have limited yourself to the hard clear plastic ones. They will add weight and size to the iPhone - no way around this.
As for your want of a screen protector too, keep in mind that the iPhone screen is glass. It is not plastic like many cell phones or touch screens that use a stylus. It is almost impossible to scratch. The overlay protectors really only help with smudges. Pressure on the screen will not cause it to select unless it is your finger touching it. That is why you can't use the iPhone while wearing gloves.
Just some things to keep in mind.

  • Case cover art for dvd

Where can I get downloads that are safe to create case cover art for dvd cases and formats for a booklet inside. Free is nice but not the only option. I do not want to expose my computer to malicous software. Any ideas?

    Hello,
    I use PageStream...

If it's not creating the art, but just the layout, might try Libre Office...

  • What is the iPad alternative to Flash Player?

What is the iPad alternative to Flash Player?

There are alternate browsers that redirect flash content to their servers, change it to stuff that works on iOS and send it to your device.
    They mostly kind of work.
Look at skyfire, photon, iswifter, puffin.
Read some reviews and see if one will work for you.

Doesn't matter what orientation the ipad is in, it won't scroll up from the bottom.

Settings/Control Center. There are two options which are pretty self-explanitory...one enables/disables access on the Lock Screen and one enables/disables access within apps/games.

If this is a developer questoin, you need to go here... http://developer.apple.com/
If not, it's likely the name you give the iPad in iTunes.

  • What is th best case for the ipad2 (excluding smart cover)

is there a good case for the ipad 2

I just reviewed 7 different cases for the iPad 2 all marketed towards families -- here's a link http://www.myoverthinking.com/2011/12/overthinking-ipad-2-cases.html
There are 7 different short videos posted there so you can see the different cases and hear my reviews. I hope my anal retentiveness and overthinking helps you figure out which one you like best! My personal faves -- the Gripcase and the M-Edge Super Shell as well as the Big Grips stand (not the case).

  • What can the iPad do that the iPad Touch cannot?

I've been thinking about buying an iPod Touch lately, but now I keep hearing about the iPad and it looks pretty neat. What exactly can it do that the iPod Touch cannot do?

It's a much bigger touch surface and it has a much faster processor which will allow for significantly more robust applications.. Apple's iWork apps for the iPad are a great example of the types of things developers will bring to the iPad which would never work on the iPhone or iTouch..

  • HT4356 What about the iPad notes. Can we print them with Airprint?

They say we can use Airprint with Safari, Pages, Mail, etc. But no mention of Notes. Not mentionning we can't either. Can we? My dad had a Canon printer compatible with Airprint. Both the updates has been made on the iPad and Canon software. When trying to print it says they can't find the Airprint. "Aucune imprimante Airprint détectée", to use the exact same word.
    Thanks!

If he has a Canon printer that is compatible with Airprint, and he has upgraded the printer Firmware, you should be able to print.  In fact, you should be able to print emails, web pages, notes, AND photos through Airprint.  The Canon app should add more capability when printing photos (e.g., choice of paper types, paper sizes, image sizes, etc) that Airprint does not offer, so the Canon app is good to have for photos.
Make sure his iPad is connected to the same wifi network as the printer.
Try turning the printer off then on again.  This will reset it.
What kind of a router is he using?  Airprint needs Bonjour to talk to the router.  There may be a firmware upgrade for that too.
