What is the best Mac friendly Network Storage Device?

I am having trouble with my current network storage device. It is an Iomega Stor Center ix2-200 using OS EMC Lifeline. I have it connected to my Time Capsule 7.5.2 via an ethernet cable.
I have an iMac running OS X 10.6.6, and a MacBook Air.
Both are having issues after sleep. My iMac will freeze. My MacBook Air will give a perpetually spinning wheel. Both computers do this intermittently, only after sleep, and otherwise run perfectly. Reading other posts, it appears that some network storage devices can cause this to happen.
So I want to buy the most reliable network storage device there is, to plug into Time Capsule (using USB). It would be nice if my Windows Vista computer could access it, but not a requirement. I just want to make sure whatever I buy will not cause issues with the iMac or MacBook Air.
It would be perfect it it had mirror RAID1 capability.
Anyone have experience to assure that a specific network storage device will work well?

The best is you use ASM (maybe you do it already) and put one failure group on the first disk array and the second failure group on the second array. Then you can ASM let do the work.

Title says it all. What's the best Mac for running Final Cut Pro X? I'm not looking to make a feature length hollywood film. But I'd like to be able to edit video without lag.

Yes. Begin with the fastest processor / graphics card / and as much RAM as you can afford. (As all three will become obsolete over time.)
I started from scratch. I have a 27-inch iMac with a 3.4 G Intel Core i7. (currently the fastest processor for an iMac) I also ordered the best graphics card--AMD Ratheon HD. I ordered 16G of RAM, but recently added more RAM to equal 24G. (OWC makes good after-market RAM for iMACs.)
Last, I ordered a flash drive / SATA hard drive combo. (250G on flash / ITB on SATA). The OS and all of my applications run off the flash drive. (for fast start up!)
I put all of my media and FCP projects onto the SATA hard drive.
Now, I had the option to order a 2TB SATA. But, I realized I can always buy more external storage as I edit more and more projects. ALSO! FCPX is GREAT when it comes to editing projects on external drives! I can segregate an entire project and its media files onto a removeable drive. I simply launch FCPX, plug in the drive and--poof!--I'm ready to edit. It sees the project and the media right away. When I'm done editing, I can then send this drive to another editor (also using FCPX) or attach it to my MacBook if I want to edit the same project in the field.

Ok so as the title says, I was wondering what is the best Mac for gaming, I would like to play at least some old games which I have laying around the house when I'm at the airport or whatever. I read that macs are not that good at gaming but they do work at some degree :P
Also I was wondering, me and my friend were arguing why is a Mac not considered a PC. I my arguments where that a PC means it has all that nasty, heavy, big hardware, with all the cards and stuff and that a mac just has the slick monitor with some stuff in it :P and a keyboard/mouse. His arguments were that even if macs only have the stuff mentioned above, it should still be considered a PC since it is afterall a Personal Computer.

Best computer for gaming is always the one with the highest specs. But generally speaking, a base macbook does ok. The major piece you need to increase FPS on a mac is a video card though, so generally the Pros or iMacs will be a better choice.
Your friend is right, PC = Personal Computer. Mac's run the exact same hardware as a PC, just run different OS's. But its a term that got misplaced with windows in the flame wars of every forum post. P.S. Mac pros are a tower with no screen, just like the traditional windows ones.

FYI: Macs are not gaming machines.
PERSONAL OPINION: Nothing beats Microsoft (PCs) and/or Sony when it comes to gaming. Macs can play games. However, if you are a gamer, get a PC.

I agree with Larry that a Mac with an SSD boot drive and addtional standard drive is blazingly fast. I have an iMac setup that way and it boots in 14 seconds. With the system and applicaitons and iPhoto library on the SSD drive and most other documents, backup photos, etc. on the std. drive. it works beautifully. However, I do not let the free space on the SSD drive get less than 50 GB.
I also have an external HD that I sue with Time Maching to backup both my SSD and standard drive in the iMac.

I have three iPhone 4 models purchased in late 2010 (for my family) that all share the same iTunes account for access to apps and music, but each phone/user still has his/her custom contact list, email accts, and select lists of apps and music from the one iTunes acct library. The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. What are the best AirPlay speakers for Apple devices? I would like to get some good speakers to be used with my iPod, iPhone and iPad. Ideally, they should be able to play using AirPlay and be quite powerful, but with a good design if possible.

Best is going to be a matter of opinion. What environment are the speakers going to be used in? How large is the room? What type of music are you going to play? What features/functions would you like in the speakers? What price range are you looking for? All of these are going to effect which speakers will best fit your needs.
