What's the best hardcover case for the Macbook Pro Retina?

Hey everyone! I recently bought the new rMBP and since this is a very expensive piece of investment, I want to protect it with a case. I've read in some forums and other product reviews of Speck and Moshi that these are the top brands in the market... and these brands are what I am thinking about of buying.
The only concern that I have is that it might chip the aluminum of my rMBP when I'm trying to install it and it will accumulate dusk in a few weeks. If so, regular cleaning means taking my hardcase often... would it damage my laptop and the aluminum?
Any brand suggestions? Thanks! : )

I currently just bought the new 15" Macbook Pro Retina display to replace my old 2007 Macbook 13" however I am reluctant to use it until I find a keyboard cover. The best case is the one that Creative sells. It is the only one that allows support for the sync adapter. Stay clear of any purchased from ebay or amazon as there are several of them. The two most popular on the Internet which are not manufactured by Creative seem to be available on almost any site. The one with the kickstand and the exposed top should be avoided. Sure it looks practical, but the plastic protecti've window which is stitched to the case is stitched in a way that it is sharp and will certainly scratch your player, especially if you have the black player. The other most popular leather case has a flip cover which is snapped into place at the bottom. This one is ideal and well padded for maximum protection, but beware, the sync adapter will not fit with this case as well. You will have to remove the player for nearly every case I've seen except the one Creative sells on their website. The better of the two types however is perfect if you wish to carry your player outside and only use it for outdoor protection. There is no guarantee however that all cases will have the plastic window stitched properly so beware! The Creative model has no plastic window as it really doesn't need one. Simply buy the Creative screen protectors for this purpose.
So save your money and go with the Creative case. It is specifically designed for the Zen Vision:M.

Make two or more backups of all your files

In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
Don't fill up your disk or SSD
A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a startup failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem.
While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage use and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.

Relax, don’t do it
Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
To use a Mac effectively, you have to free yourself from the Windows mindset that every computer needs regular downtime for maintenance such as "defragging" and "registry cleaning." Those concepts do not apply to the Mac platform.
A well-designed computing device is not something you should have to think about much. It should be an almost transparent medium through which you communicate, work, and play. If you want a machine that needs a lot of attention just to keep going, use a PC, or collect antique cars.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have.
