Hi to all SAP Guru's
While generation of PO when account assignment category was maintained as P- Project the system could not proceed & gave following message
No direct posting can be made t G/L A/C 110000
the G/L A/c you entered is control a/c the transaction can not be posted to G/l A/c
Plz guide

Hi,
You are trying to post the GL is indicated for only indirect postings. it means in the t.code FS00, you can check weather the GL is selected or ticked under create/bank/interest tab, post automatically only.
if you deselect the check box then it allows to post. but make sure is this correct GL you want to post.

As per the standard only one field stting is different between the itemcategories TAN and BVN that is
Billing Relevance
In TAN this filed set as 'A' --Delivery -related billing document
In BVN this field set as 'B' -- Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty.
Other than this all other settings are same between two itemcategories.

Control Key in Defaut value keys screen is mainly for defining how the work center will be used in routings.
Almost in all the PP we define same Control key to the work center as well in the routing.
For example in work center control Key PP01 is used to define Routings/Internal proc. activities. When we go to the routing screen even if we do not see our components, work centers or control key we have to manually enter these details ans here control Key will remain the same as it was in Work center.
No. of individual capacity defines how many machines are there of the same type in the work center. E.g if I have 5 CNC machines then I will make One work center and in capacity screen I will put 5 as No. of individual Capacity.

What is the purpose and usage of control plans in cProjects? Is this useful in an environment where QM is not implemented? Appreciate if somebody could provide an example of how this functionality will be useful from a project management standpoint. I am on cProjects 4.5.

the control plan functionality in cProjects is deprecated, see SAP Note 1114207:
Using the control plans is not recommended because with new
developments in SAP PLM Quality Management (QM). cProjects
remains the preferred project management solution, but all QM
aspects that are not directly related to project management
should be managed in SAP ERP.

What is the Action account type to be created to Workgroup agents in SCOM for monitoring them

I have newly deployed 20 Workgroup Windows server 2008 R2 DMZ machines in our SCOM 2007 R2. We have deployed it using certificates and ever thing is working fine except for the below.
I keep getting the below alert saying "Run as account login check failed" on all the 20 agents.
So i want to know what type of Run as account is to be created for monitoring the Workgroup agents from the below list ?
Also to which all Run as profile do i need to add the account post creating the Run as account so i the agent is fully being monitored ?

Gautam.75801, I use Action Account. As mentioned also make sure your distribute the Action account to the workgroup computers and update the default action account as Roger mentioned.

What is the proper account to use for icloud?

Do i use my apple id, or my mobileme account? i tried the apple id first and contacts wouldnt sync to icloud from the phone.then i tried my mobile me account info and everything synced. which are we supposed to use?
mobileme account works fine between devices and pc, but wouldnt this stop icloud from accessing my itunes stuff since im not using my apple id?

First of all... you should all take a good look at what the read() method actually does.

Pay special attension to this paragraph:
Reads up to len[i] bytes of data from the input stream into an array of bytes. An attempt is made to read as many as len[i] bytes, but a smaller number may be read, possibly zero. The number of bytes actually read is returned as an integer.
In other words... when you use read() and you request say 1024 bytes, you are not guaranteed to get that many bytes. You may get less. You may even get none at all.
Supposing you want to read length bytes from a stream into a byte array, here is how you do it.int bytesRead = 0;
int readLast = 0;
byte[] array = new byte[length];
while(readLast != -1 && bytesRead < length){
readLast = inputStream.read(array, bytesRead, length - bytesRead);
if(readLast != -1){
bytesRead += readLast;
}And then the matter of write()...

write(byte[] b) will always attempt to write b.length bytes, no matter how many bytes you actually filled it with. All you C/C++ converts... forget all about null terminated arrays. That doesn't exist here. Even if you only read 2 bytes into a 1024 byte array, write() will output 1024 bytes if you pass that array to it.
You need to keep track of how many bytes you actually filled the array with and if that number is less than the size of the array you'll need pass this as an argument.
I'll make another post about this... once and for all.
