I just want to make sure I'm using the current version. I apologize but I cant seem to find out ANYWHERE. If I am running Leopard, do I automatically have the most updated version of Mail?
I checked and have 3.5 running.

Mine is
Version 3.5 (930.3)
You can check your version in Mail->Mail menu->about Mail. if you installed 10.5.6 you should have the latest version already.

The current version 10.0.1 is is a very different application from the previous GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5.
The new GarageBand 10.0.1 is a bit of a mongrel - half Logic and half GarageBand. It brought new terrific features, like the Arpeggiators and smart Drummers, but other great features of GarageBand '11 have been dropped., no more podcast tracks, and you cannot any longer combine the effects freely.

8.1 is the Yosemite version but you're running the most current version for Mavericks.

Well yes, the parts/versions was the point of my post. I explicitly referred to them and to the fact that I had installed 8.1.4.
The issue has turned moot for now. PSI has admitted an error on their end, which will be fixed soon. "The problem is the updated file does not include the .exe file on which we normally use to detect the file version."

acrobat.com is? One of my computers (XP Home SP3) shows version #
1.2.443, but I just intstalled it on another of my computers
(actually, it automatically installed with acrobat 9 I think) (this
computer has XP Pro SP3) and the version shows as 1.2.443. I also
have a third computer with version 1.1.377. So now I am really
confused...I JUST installed acrobat.com o this computer, yet it has

when you visit Acrobat.com. So there is no need to go "get" the
latest version
Since the AIR application accesses the Web Acrobat.com, it
will include most updates that make it to the Acrobat.com services.

I have got question on this, if xmlp 5.6.3 is recent version, then what about oracle BI publisher (formerly known as xmlp) 10.1.3.0 version came out and most of the clients started using this.So to the best of my knowledge this is the latest version.

I am experiencing problems on my husband's I-Mac (operating OS X 10.5.8) Mail Version is 3.6 (936), however I am not expriencing mail problems on my Mac Book Pro.

This question is now answered. I wonder if there's a webpage that will post the most current version number when the firmware changes. I guess I could keep asking every now and then. Or one of the Apple iTunes users can update all of us when iTunes lets him know that version has changed.

i am currently downlading the current versions of teststand and labview for evaluation.
In the Teststand-link i saw that it is called "Teststand 2012".
1. But there was no version-information in the Labview-Download. Is this also version 2012?
2. Are both things 32-bit-software?
3. After i installed the evaluation-downloads - can they be activated with a key or do i have to install it again when the CDs arrive in my office?

You can have both the 32-bit and 64-bit installed. Just remember your target when you build an exe. 64-bit compiled programs can only run on 64-bit machines.
You should have no problem upgrading your code from 8.5.

database problems is frequently revised from the version that is supplied
with the server package software. How do I know when I need a newer version of
this tool? And how often should I execute it?

You can always find the latest version of this tool available here at
http://www.iplanet.com/downloads/patches/index.html.

However, note that there may not be a new version of the tool for every platform
every time. Depending on what reason the tool is revised and for what it is
checking, it may not pertain to all platforms in which case the most current
version that you have it quite sufficient.

For preventative maintenance, it is recommended that the this tool be run in a
"check" mode nightly to once a week, depending on Calendar shutdown schedule and
the size of your deployment. Unless there is the presence of a dbv.log (with a
current timestamp), then the tool should be run as soon as possible.
It should also be run in "fix" mode at a minimum of once a month in order to
defragment and compress the database.

Note: The unidbfix version A.01.25 that comes bundled with the 4.0 Calendar
server can only be used on database version A.02.60.
Whereas, the unidbfix version A.01.26 can be used for both database versions
A.02.50 and A.02.60.

Calendar servers that used the A.02.50 Raima database are 1.0x, 3.0, 3.5, & 3.51.
