What is the difference between Recon. Account and Alternative Recon. Accoun

hi
any body please tell me . What is the difference between Recon. Account and Alternative Recon. Account.

Hello sairama,
Reconciliation account- For each subledger account , you must keep at least one reconciliation account in the general ledger. When you post to an account in the subledger, the system automatically posts to the corresponding reconciliation account. The "Receivables from goods and services" account is an example of a reconciliation account for customers. Enter Customer in the Reconciliation account for account type field. Enter a Vendor in this field for a vendor reconciliation account. Using the reconciliation account procedure, it is possible to create a balance sheet and a profit and loss statement at any time, since the amounts posted to subledger accounts are also posted automatically in the general ledger.
During regular reconciliation, you check whether the balance of the reconciliation account matches the balance of the corresponding subledger account.
You define reconciliation accounts by specifying in the G/L account master record the account type (such as fixed assets, vendor or customer) for which the account is to be used. In this way, the account can only be assigned to accounts in the corresponding subledger. You set the assignment of the subledger account to a reconciliation account in the master record of the subledger account. You cannot post to reconciliation accounts manually .
============================================================
Alternative Reconciliation account- Special G/L transactions are identified by a special G/L indicator. The system uses the specifications (posting key and special G/L indicator) to determine the alternative reconciliation account.
When you post a special G/L transaction, the system does not post to the normal reconciliation accounts but instead automatically to alternative accounts, that is, special G/L accounts. Consequently, you do not transfer the balances of these accounts either. Instead, the system posts to the appropriate accounts automatically when the open items are transferred.
Hope I had been able to help you. Please assign points.

Just re-install a new OS X Lion. On the "Create Your Computer Account" screen, what's the difference between "Full Name" and "Account Name"?

Your computer name by default would be "John David Appleseed's Macbook Pro"
But you can always change that in System Preferences->Sharing
And yes, the first account you set up will be an administrator.

  • What is the difference between /assets/account/import and /data/account ?

Does anybody knows what is the use of /assets/account/import and /data/account.
What is the difference between these two and their functional use.
    thanks

/assets/account/import is used in the context of performing account file uploads through the E10 UI. If you navigate to Contacts > Accounts > and click Upload in the top right corner (above search), you'll get the upload wizard:
The moment you click the cloud icon and select a file, two actions take place:
    1) POST to /assets/account/import is made, where you are passing the name, import source and purpose of the import. The response includes the id of the new import object you created
    2) Another POST to /assets/account/import/{id}/csv is made, which includes the data in your chosen file
Afterwards, you perform the mappings and go to step 4 of the wizard. When you click Finish, another two actions take place:
    1) PUT /assets/account/import/{id} to update the import definition with your mappings from Step 3
    2) POST to /assets/account/import/{id}/queue to send this import into the import/upload queue. At this point it becomes visible from Setup > Integration > Inbound > Reporting > Upload History
Note that this workflow is not meant for client use, but rather helps facilitate UI functionality for marketing users. You should be using Bulk API to add or update records, which also confers other advantages such as the ability to use syncActions. The only functionality not available in Bulk API which is available through this workflow is the ability to delete Accounts. For obvious reasons, its recommend that you do NOT automate the deletion of any records. Accounts especially are not subject to any band limits or rates, so its best to have Marketers remove them as needed.
Regarding the second part of your question, the /data/accounts endpoint will provide you with up to 1000 account records when using GET. A POST can also be made to create a new account record (company) within Eloqua. Otherwise, GET /data/account/{id} will retrieve the details of a particular record and PUT /data/account{id} will update a particular.

    Bojan

  • What's the difference between "My Contacts" and "All Contacts"?

What's the difference between "My Contacts" and "All Contacts"?
I have no other account other then my iCloud account (from what I can tell), but "My Contacts" has a significantly smaller number of contacts then "All Contacts".
    What's the difference?

Thanks for posting the screenshots, that's helpful.  I didn't realize that you were looking at your groups.
"All Contacts" include (as the name implies) all of your contacts.  Below that are any contact groups that you may have defined.  These would normally be such things as "Work", "Personal", "Doctors", etc.; any groups that you find useful to define.  These contain subsets of the "All Contacts" group.
At some point, perhaps inadvertently, you must have created a group called "My Contacts", or imported it to iCloud from your computer.  At the time this may have contained all of your contacts and would have had the same number of contacts as the "All Contacts" group.  Then over time you probably added 433 additional contacts that were never part of the original "My Contacts" group, resulting in an "All Contacts" group that contained 1465 contacts.
If you don't have any use for the "My Contacts" group, you can delete it by clicking on it on the left sidebar, click the gear icon on the lower left and choose Delete.  If you're concerned about doing this, you can make a backup of this group first by selecting it on the left sidebar, clicking on a single contact within the group, pressing Control-A to select them all (they should all be highlighted), then clicking the gear icon and choosing Export vCard.  This will create a .vcf file that can later be imported back to iCloud if you ever need to (by clicking the gear icon again and choosing Import vCard).

  • What is the Difference between S/N and SINAD?

    Hey,
can any one give me the answer for the following question.
What is the difference between S/N and SINAD?

S/N measures the difference typically between the signal (or full scale input range) and the thermal noise floor, usually in dB.
SINAD is similar except for the fact that it also takes into account spurs in the frequency domain. So SINAD should always be <= S/N. SINAD is similar to Spurious-Free Dynamic Range (SFDR).
Dynamic range is a term sometimes used for these concepts, but dynamic range is vague in that it doesn't make clear whether spurs should be taken into account. SFDR eliminates that ambiguity, as well as S/N or SNR.

  • What is the difference between "Group Albums" and "Albums"

What is the difference between "Group Albums" and "Albums"

An album is a shareable object; you can add photos to an album, then subsequently share that album with someone else. It's better than sharing your whole library, and allows you to make and share lots of different related sets of photos.
Group Albums allow you to collaborate on an album with others. Both you and the collaborators can upload photos or videos, and view them in My Library. All members of the Group Album can also edit, copy, print, and download the items in the album.
Only members of Photoshop.com can participate in Group Albums. But since membership is free, you can invite nonmembers to participate in a Group Album, and they can create a Photoshop.com account and contribute files.

  • What is the difference between Topic Keywords and Index File Keywords?

What is the difference between Topic Keywords and Index File Keywords? Any advantages to using one over the other? Do they appear differently in the generated index?
    RH9.0.2.271
    I'm using Webhelp

    Hi there
When you create a RoboHelp project you end up with many different ancillary files that are used to store different bits of information. Many of these files bear the name you assigned to the project at the time you created it. The index file has the project name and it ends with a .HHK file extension. (HHK meaning HTML Help Keywords)
Generally, unless you change RoboHelp's settings, you add keywords to this file and associate topics to the keywords via the Index pod. At the time you compile a CHM or generate other types of output, the file is consulted and the index is built.
As I said earlier, the default is to add keywords to the Index file until you configure RoboHelp to add the keywords to the topics themselves. Once you change this, any keyword added will become a META tag in the topic code. If your keyword is BOFFO, the META tag would look like this:
    <meta name="MS-HKWD" content="BOFFO" />
When the help is compiled or generated, the Index (.HHK) file is consulted as normal, but any topics containing keywords added in this manner are also added to the Index you end up with. From the appearance perspective, the end user woudn't know the difference or be able to tell. Heck, if all you ever did was interact with the Index pod, you, as an author wouldn't know either. Well, other than the fact that the icons appear differently.
Operationally, keywords added to the topics themselves may hold an advantage in that if you were to import these topics into other projects, the Index keywords would already be present.
    Hopefully this helps... Rick

  • What is the difference between Video-out and mirroring?

What is the difference between Video-out and mirroring? I can't get iPhone 4 video to work on my TV screen
I have just bought an MD098ZM/A (Apple 30-pin Digital AV Adapter). I am struggling to get it to show a picture on my TV. I know I'm doing something right because the audio is coming out of my TV speakers but no picture on the TV screen.
I have used the same HDMI channel (on the TV side) with the same cable and my thunderbolt port (MacBook Air) without any trouble - and on the same app (BBC iPlayer download then full-screen mode).
Now I note that the packaging for the MD098ZM/A says video-out on iPhone 4 but mirroring only on iPhone 4S. I only have an iPhone 4 (not the 4S). Now if the lack of iPhone 4 support for mirroring means that I can't play video material out to my TV, then in what sense is there any video-out capability at all?
There is only safety and warranty paperwork in the Apple adapter packaging - no help information. And I haven't found further guidance online either.
I do note somewhere online that it suggests that basic non-mirroring video-out (for this adapter) only works with some external TV sets. Any way of finding out which? I'm using a Sanyo CE32LD90-B LCD TV if it helps.
So far not doing very well.

Now found these but have had to give up on this adapter!

  • What is the difference between jsp :include and server side include

what is the difference between jsp :include and server side include(request dispatcher include method)????
i understand that both request dispatcher include method and jsp:include take dynamic data,so when would one use request dispatcher include and when jsp:include.
Is the usage interchangeable?i believe jsp include is used only for jsp/html but include directive can be used to include servlets ,jsp and html....correct me if i m wrong and
do suggest if u hav ny other diff in this context...

The difference really is: in what format do you want your inclusions? If your environment has many Java developers and only a few designers that focus mainly on, say, Flash, that might push you more towards the server-side include() directive. Or, if you have a large set of pages that receive dynamic content that is displayed in a consistent fashion (such as a workflow header area on a page).
If, on the other hand, you have more web designers, there may be a greater desire to deal in markup rather than Java code. Java developers themselves might prefer to view markup (JSP) that more resembles the eventual output than something occuring in Java code.
Finally, there are considerations of tiering. While it is totally possible to (and I have previously) implement 'view classes' that render markup or generate layout templates, JSP's offer, IMO, a subtle, psychological advantage. By forcing a developer to work in a different format, markup versus Java source, the separation on view from controller and model becomes a bit easier. It is still possible to make mistakes, but if a developer at some point notices, "Wait, I'm in a JSP, should I be importing a java.sql class?", then the choice to use JSP includes has paid off in spades.

Any call made from the API will automatically be set to the “Session Timeout” period, no matter

the document class is invoked immediately when your swf opens.  the document class must subclass the sprite or movieclip class.
all other classes are invoked explicitly with code and need not subclass any other class.

  • In OSX Activity Monitor, what's the difference between 'free' memory and 'inactive' memory

In OS X Activity Monitor, what's the difference between 'free' memory and 'inactive' memory. My daughters 2Gb MacBook Pro is very slow, it probably needs more memory but there is almost 1Gb of 'inactive' memory but no 'free' memory when an application is opened.
    Thanks

Free RAM is the one that has not been used by any application since you started up your Mac, and inactive RAM is the one that was used by an application and it is not in use anymore.
1 GB of inactive RAM is a lot, and it may be the cause of the slowness. There are a lot of apps that allows you to turn inactive into free RAM. I use FreeMemory, but have a look at the Mac App Store.
If you are a developer, you can do that with a command you can type into Terminal:
    sudo purge
