A new concept is available for setting up a high availability environment for SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI). To do this, you need SAP Web Dispatcher for load balancing, and you must reconfigure your HTTP, RFC, and RMI connections so that they can be used for load balancing. You must also make various configuration steps in other components of your PI environment.

  • What is the difference between SAP HR module and SAP-ABAP-HR?

what is the difference between SAP HR module and SAP-ABAP-HR?
    Thanks in advance..:)

    Hi,
SAP-HR is software component like SAP-BASIS is a component.
    Its part of the CORE.
As far as I know there is nothing like SAP-ABAP-HR.
But ABAP offers some special syntax for HR though.
    Like INFOTYPES, PROVIDE ENDPROVDIE etc.

  • What are the optimal hardware specification requirements for Adobe Photoshop CS6?

Greetings to the staff and users of this forum,
As the title clearly stipulates, the question is "What are the optimal hardware specification requirements for Adobe Photoshop CS6?".
Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the specs specified on the website, as I believe they are far lesser than the specs needed to run the program at its full potential. This belief comes from my experience with the product Adobe Photoshop CS2 that I currently run on my computer. In effect, Ps CS2 cannot fully run without inducing time lags on my computer (i.e. when using 500 pix diameter smudge tool/ using liquify gallery), even though my specs are already higher than those specified for CS6 (mine are: Intel Core 2 Duo 6300 1.86 GHz, 3 GB RAM). I can assure you that I get those time lags even when almost in safe mode (only system main processes running) and that my computer is clean from any process/virus that could lower its performances.
I've been through two chat rooms and four telephone operators to always get the same answer: the specs on the website.
If any user here could provide me with proper higher specs, I would really be grateful.
    Thanks,
    phdwengr

This document looks at different workflows and gives recommendations. It should give you an idea of what's needed.

  • What's the minimum Clock Speed Requirement for GB3?

What's the minimum Clock Speed Requirement for GB3 (assuming one wishes to create and play mult. audio tracks within this current iLife app)? Is it 733mhz?
Here's what i was able to find on
    iLife ’06 requirements:
    To install iLife, you need:
    • A Macintosh computer with a PowerPC G4, G5, or Intel Core processor; 733 MHZ or faster required for iDVD
    • 256 MB of RAM; 512 MB recommended
    • Mac OS X version 10.3.9 or Mac OS X version 10.4.3 or later; Mac OS X version 10.4.4 recommended
    • iTunes 6.0.2 and QuickTime 7.0.4 (included)
    • A DVD drive for installation
    • 10 GB of disk space to install iLife '06 applications

    Thanks Christoph, TIA, and AppleGuy!
Christoph, what model are you using? You said you have even less Mhz, but your model looks like the same as mine.
TIA, I looked at the other thread (thanks for the link) any idea what other models are affected by the sound output problem?
I probably will back up first just to be safe, and won't try running them both at the same time. I was hoping though to have full functionality of the Podcasting features plus all the old music ones without slowing the machine down.

  • What is the difference in createdelete indexes for  infocube and DTP ?

    Hi experts,
Can anyone  tell me what is the difference in create\delete index process for infocube and create\delete index for  DTP or Infopackage? If i add into a chain an Infopackage then DTP  then Delete request processes,   system generates for all of them delete\create index processes  by default. Is that nesesary  leave them all or is that enough to leave only the ones for infocube?
    Thank you,
    Tigr_Z

    Hi Tigr,
This delete/create index step is to make the load faster. This can be done on a infocube. Before loading data to infocube it is suggested by SAP to delete index and after loading again create the index.
If you want to execute these steps through process chain, there are process types for delete/create index. It is related to infocube not to any DTP/Infopackage. Before loading to the cube add one DROPINDEX step (deleting) in the chain. After completion of loading add one INDEXING step (creating) in the chain.
    Thanks,

  • What's the difference between "login block-for X attempts X within X" and "security authentication failure rate X"?

What's the difference between, just for example, "login block-for 100 attempts 15 within 100" and "security authentication failure rate 3"?
Please ignore the numbers, I need to know what the differences are in commands and what they do, what they affect.

security authentication failure rate number_of_failed_attempts : A global configuration mode command used to specify the maximum number of failed attempts (in the range of 2 to 1024) before introducing a 15-second delay
login block-for 100 attempts 15 within 100 : Block all access after 15 failed login attempts within 100 Secs for the period of 100Secounds (1.40 Minutes).
The Cisco IOS Login Enhancements (Login Block) feature allows users to enhance the security of a router by configuring options to automatically block further login attempts when a possible denial-of-service (DoS) attack is detected.
The login block and login delay options introduced by this feature can be configured for Telnet or SSH virtual connections. By enabling this feature, you can slow down "dictionary attacks" by enforcing a "quiet period" if multiple failed connection attempts are detected, thereby protecting the routing device from a type of denial-of-service attack.

  • What's the difference of Creative Cloud for individuals and Business for a one-man company and Photoshop only?

    Hey guys,
I want to decide whether to buy Adobe CC for individuals (12euro a month VAT included) or company (29 euro VAT excluded). I own/am a one-man company and I only use Photoshop (and Lightroom/Bridge).
As a company, I'd say I'd choose the company one. But the individual one is more than half cheaper and gives the applications I need.
Please advice and tell me the differences.
    Thank you

In the US there is no difference.  More specifically, when I look at http://creative.adobe.com/plans and check the prices on the Individual and Business tabs I see the same prices for the same things:  US $19.99/month for Single-App and US $49.99/month for the Complete (all-apps) package, so either the difference is one of different taxation/regulatory burden or you're comparing different things.  Since I'm in the US I can't easily see your Euro pages, but if you want to include screenshots of the Individual and Business pricing area maybe someone can point out what is different.
Regardless, if you only use LR and PS/Br then if I were you I’d sing up for the Photography Plan which is US $9.99/month which is half the PS-only price.

  • What is the differences between sap net weaver and ecc?.

    Hello Guys,
I am new to SAP technology(SAP-ABAP). I got confused between two sap software's SAP-Netweaver and SAP-ecc. Is this both are same are different. if different which one i can use to develop my ABAP Applications?. Please suggest me...
                                                                                    Thank you

    Hi Kumar,
      Before 2004's
                     SAP Versions:
                      1)4.6C
                      2)4.7EE (BASIS+ICM=WAS).
Note:From 4.7EE onwards WAS is introduced.
There are two types of versions in 4.7EE,
                                                    WAS 610 and WAS 620
       From 2004's
From 2004 onwards SAP Introduced ERP Technologies.. and also called  as Netweaver Technologies...From here Java stack came into Picture, and SAP access through web also.
                      3)   My SAP ERP:
                                         a)My SAP ERP 2004:(ECC5) or (WAS 640)
                                          b)My SAP ERP 2005:(ECC6) or (WAS 720)
Again in ECC6 we have different versions like:
                                            SR1,SR2,SR3,EHP1,EHP2,EHP3,EHP4,
                                                 EHP5(WAS720),EHP6(WAS720EXT),
                                                                          EHP7(WAS740)
                   Enterprize resource planning:ERP
To satisfy all the business terms SAP introduces ERP.
In ERP we have different packages like SRM, CRM, ECC, NW, SCM
                       Enterprize central Component:ECC
We have different modules like ABAP, FI, HR, MM, CO...
In ECC we can use what are the modules present in it..Other than we cannot do any thing..
But in Netweaver we can install ECC  as backend System and on that we can install  EP, PI ,
        BW and so on..
              Use of netweaver:
If we install EP: we can use like single sign on.
if we install PI: We can connect different systems SAP or NON-SAP also.
    Final Conclusion is..
Before 2004 we called as Basis (ABAP)
From 2004 onwards we called as Netweaver(ABAP+JAVA)....here we can install ECC and as well we can do multiple things like EP,PI and so on......because of we can acess through web also..
Note: Hope I have explained correctly,If I am wrong please correct me..

  • What's the difference between Netscape SDK for Java & JNDI?

I know I can use either JNDI or Netscape SDK to access iDS. So whats their differences basically?
Why would I need JNDI/Netscape SDK if I can just use either of them to access iDS?
    Thanks!

Netscape SDK for JAVA developed only for iplanet Directory Server but JNDI for any directory server.
JNDI has classes provided by Sun that will help your application interact with an LDAP server.JNDI applications work similarly to JDBC applications - write applications once and be free to use "drivers" from different vendors. Sun provides the "driver" that will help interact with the LDAP server. Sun also provides "drivers" for other naming services (like CORBA, Netscape).
The Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) allows Java applications to use a single set of methods to access multiple naming and directory services such as LDAP and NIS.
JNDI is a Java API that provides a common way for programmers to access a variety of naming and directory services. The API consists of several packages:
javax.naming for naming operations (access entries)
javax.naming.directory for directory operations (access attributes)
    javax.naming.event for requesting event notification
    javax.naming.ldap for LDAP-specific features.
JNDI operates through a layer of software called a Service Provider. The Service Provider implements the JNDI operations in terms of a particular underlying protocol.
JNDI's Service Provider Interface (SPI) allows you to select Service Providers at runtime. In many cases you can use the same JNDI methods regardless of whether the Service Provider is talking to an LDAP server or using another protocol such as NIS. In order to access all of the functionality of the LDAP protocol, however, you will have to use methods outside of this abstraction.

  • What is the minimum download speed required for iTunes Match streaming

I have been very interested by iTunes Match, and I have read much about it.  The only thing that I have not been able to find is the minimum bandwidth required to stream music to an iPhone.  Specifically, I would be looking to stream to an iPhone 5, as well as an iPhone 4.  If there is an official minimum requirement, please let me know.  If there is no apple specified speed, I would be interested in what you found to be he minimum speed necessary for smooth streaming.
    Thanks,

iPhone 4 and 5 will both work well with a good 3G service and much better with 4G.  Song file is actually downloaded to allow for all conditions of viable mobile signal.
