What is the difference on the desktop app for Creative cloud between "install" and "try"?

Basically that is my question. Does anyone know if the "try" apps are extra money? thanks

Correct.
Install usually means its included in your membership and can be downloaded for free.
Try usually means try for 30 days then spend more money if you want to continue using it after that.
Most Cloud software is included in your membership. Which software is showing Try?

    What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?
    Try opening Photoshop holding down Shift key immediately to turn off plug-ins. Lots of good suggestions here: Photoshop: Basic Troubleshooting steps to fix most issues

    I am trying to download Photoshop and Dreamweaver but I can't each time I try it says I alreay have it on my iMac but I don't have it.  How can I download the software?  I want to sign up for Creative Cloud but need to install the software first.

    Are you using a MAC or Windows ? If you had a trial already installed on your machine ealier, I am afraid you will have to purchase the product to use as unfortunately we cant extend the trial period .
    If you havent installed the product's on your machine so far ,please try in a different browser and check .

  • Why does the creative cloud stop installing and never finishes?

    Ok so I downloaded the free trial and everything was working out until i double clicked the installer and it said it was installing and 2 secs later when the blue bar(loading bar) started it closed the installation and won't work?     I think there's a way to change the default directory. I'm not a admin or anything, just a normal user who works with motion graphics.
        In the AAM window, your full name (that appears to be grayed out) of your account will appear at the upper-left corner. Click on that and then click Preferences.
         I think from there, you can change the default location to wherever you want it to go, but it might be like you said - it isn't made exactly the way to use for a specific program like making a folder for each different software on each seperate partition. That procedure would be having to go change the default directory every time installing a new program...
         I don't mind too many safety notification pop-ups just as long its communicating with me. I worry that if I ended up with a virus and had to resort to using Safe-Mode and then System Restore on a PC, then all of my apps will be synced prior to the restore date file it must load will be removed without clearing the initial installation data which means that the AAM will still appear that my apps are "up to date" when they're not even installed on my PC!!

    Also, this page, https://creative.adobe.com/#apps, has a Download link for Gaming Tools that only gives an error and no download. I asked the support team via chat and I was told that he would recommend the phone service to me.
    Wich I called and I was told they dont know at this time.

    That link opens up a blank page and my web browser just tells me "Error on page" and leaves an Exclamation point inside of a triangle at the bottom left.

    I have a receipt and an order number but my account does not allow me to download the desktop apps.
    I only have the option to download trial or buy it. I have tried restarting whilst being logged out of my account and then logging back in but it did not help.
    The support available from Adobe has not been useful so far. Can anyone help or know the reason why i might be having this problem?

  • I have multiple adobe Ids and can't find the one that I have used for creative cloud. I can't find help for that.

    I signed in to check on my creative cloud subscription and don't see it. I must have used a different Adobe ID but for the life of me don't remember what it could have been other than what I signed in as. I can find no way to contact Adobe for this.

    I've been stuck on the same 'payment is being processed' page with the rotating logo for about 45 minutes while trying to start my Creative Cloud membership. I'm in the UK and being Sunday afternoon the customer support helpline is closed until tomorrow morning. I'm also waiting to speak to a LiveChat operator but the wait is ridiculous - 11 messages so far telling me how many people are in front of me. Anyway - is there some way to find out what has gone wrong, and how I can get out of the page or refresh this pruchase without duplicating my order?

    I recently took a survey for Adobe and in that survey there was a question asking if I knew that Touch apps were available to Creative Cloud subscribers as part of our membership.  Maybe I misread, because this definitely doesn't seem to be the case.  If not, I think it's a bit ridiculous that people willing to pay such a high monthly cost would be asked to fork up an extra $10 for a mobile version of the software that seems included in the Creative Suite.

    The Touch Apps are not included with any of the Suites or Master Collection.
    If you purchase three of the Touch Apps and have an annual Creative Cloud membership you will receive on free month of membership.

  • App store download cycles between installed and calculating

    I'm running Mountain Lion on a 24" iMac. Last night I purchased an app called Kvlt from the AppStore.  It started downloading then said it was installed then jumped back to calculating.. installed.. calculating.. installed. It just keeps doing that.  I cant cancel it in the App Store because I am never presented with that option.  I did manage to get it to pause.  Ive rebooted, check/repaired permissions, trashed AppStore preferences but those did not help.  One thing that I thought was odd is that it shows the size of Kvlt to be 746.24KB which I thought was a little small.  I think that if I can just get AppStore to forget it was downloading Kvlt and start fresh then things will be ok.  Is there a download cache I can clear or something?
