What is the differnce of AGP 3.0( 8X ) and AGP2.0( 4X )

I test some Nvidia graphic cards  that support AGP 8X and test them in 3d mark 2001 (with AGP 8x and 4x) and I have not seen any difference on this 3d mark version.
I know that AGP 8x is  2.1 GB/s    and AGP 4x is 1.05 GB/s  but the differece of them must be shown at the games tests.
Is it the END OF AGP GRAPHIC CARD ?
Is it true that from 2005 intel and hp want to use PCI EXPRESS in their PC or notebook?
If it is true
why we pay more money to buy a new 8x graphic card(without any improve in performance from AGP 4x)

From Anand Tech:

In theory, a faster AGP bus with more bandwidth means that more vertex data can get to the GPU and thus speed up the rendering process. In reality however, we aren't coming close to saturating the AGP bus and AGP 8X barely offers a performance improvement over AGP 4X.

Now we´re sure there are some readers out there mournfully looking at their now "outdated" AGP 4x system. But is the twofold increase in speed really necessary, not to mention - tangible? To be blunt: no. Even future applications are unlikely to require a bus interface that is faster than AGP 4x. 8x is more of a future investment than a current requirement.
While AGP 4x with its 266MHz offers a maximum theoretical bandwidth of about 1.1 GB/s, 8x allows for twice as much data to be pushed across the bus, namely 2.1GB/s. Additionally, there are now several new side-band addressing modes as well as an "isochronous operation" mode, which ensures maximum available bandwidth regardless of system load. This could prove a very valuable addition for video streaming and similar applications. Games, however, aren't nearly as demanding, making this a moot point for gamers.

Need I go on? (The second article shows benchmarks at both 4X and 8X.)

  • What is the differnce between Blue,Purple and Orange Audio Tracks. Can you convert either to Green Midi Track?

What is the differnce between Blue,Purple and Orange Audio Tracks. Can you convert either to Green Midi Track?

Are you asking about Garageband? Your signature also mentions Logic, but I have never worked with that.
    Concerning Garageband:
Real Instrument regions from your recordings are purple.
Real Instrument regions from Apple Loops are blue.
Regions from imported audio files are orange.
Software Instrument regions from recordings, loops, and imported MIDI files are green.
So far as I know you can convert software instrument loops to real instrument loops, but not real instrument loops to software instrument loops.

  • What is the main diff b/n ldb pnp and pnpce?

    hi ,
what is the main diff b/n ldb pnp and pnpce?
    thanks.

    Hi Arun,
PNP/PNPCE  - Both are Logical Databases for PA Module
In PNPCE - CE stands for Concurrent Employment.
    The differnces are:
The PNPCE logical database supports the evaluation of HR master data. It includes the functions of the PNP logical database and offers additional evaluation options. Therefore, you should use the PNPCE logical database instead of the PNP logical database for all new developments.
The enhanced functionality of PNPCE in comparison to PNP essentially concerns the evaluation of Concurrent Employment, that is the possibility to group evaluate several assignments/personnel numbers of a person. The new events 'GET PERSON' and 'GET GROUP' as well as an enhanced syntax for the INFOTYPES statement (addition AS PERSON TABLE) for the procurement of infotype data enable you to use the new functionality. The use of these new functions is optional. You can run a PNPCE report that does not use the new events and the addition for the INFOTYPES statement in a PNP-compatible session. Since the PNPCE also has an improved selection screen, each report benefits from this even if the report does not use the functions for evaluating Concurrent Employment.
    Hope this helps you.

  • What is the different between Sharepoint fast search service and Sql server fulltext search?

    HI ,
I want to kow what is the different between Sharepoint fast search service and Sql server fulltext search?
Or Can I abstract the Sharepoint fast search from the Sharepoint platform as a isolate component?
    Thank you.
    James

They are very, very different beasts.
Firstly FAST Search for SharePoint is the old name for the product and is only relevant for SharePoint 2010 not 2013. It got merged into the standard SharePoint search for the 2013 release.
SharePoint search is aimed at providing a Bing or Google like experience for your intranet content, as well as providing some nifty features that are purely SharePoint releated along the way. That means it can crawl SharePoint content, file shares,
outlook mailboxes, internal and external websites and probably fifty other different things if you really tried. Whilst i'm not an expert on SQL full text search I believe it's intended to provide a search feature for content held within SQL databases
    and tables.
Can you run SharePoint purely for Search? Yes, definitely.

A new concept is available for setting up a high availability environment for SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI). To do this, you need SAP Web Dispatcher for load balancing, and you must reconfigure your HTTP, RFC, and RMI connections so that they can be used for load balancing. You must also make various configuration steps in other components of your PI environment.

  • What is the difference between component(Y, Pb, Pr) and component(R,G,B)?

[I previously posted this question in another thread as hadn't realised how to post new question]
    Q. What is the difference between component (Y, Pb, Pr) and component (R,G,B) ?
I’d previously thought I was reasonably savvy on all things HD, but when I turned my thoughts to looking into getting a mac mini to run part of my home cinema I realise I have some confusions around the above.
    Here’s what I think I know:-
The mac mini has a DVI output of the type which can output both digital and analogue, and so via physical adapters it could be used to connect to displays that take HDMI or VGA style RGB leads.
I know on the market I can get a DVI to Component cable lead which would therefore lead me to assume it could drive my HD plasma with component input (Y,Pb,Pr), as I currently drive the HD TV via component cable with a SKY HD box (720p and 1080i), an xbox 360 (720p) and a progressive scan DVD player (480p), all through a Denon AV-amp.
The problem is, I’ve heard somewhere that the DVI to component is R,G,B only and that it is not Y, Pb, Pr which is making me wonder it a) this will work and b) if I really understand component video afterall.
I notice the Apple TV outputs Y,Pb,Pr but colours them red, green and blue, so am even more confused….
Hopefully someone can help educate me on this !

    Thanks for this.
My Plasma is a Panasonic 42" Viera March 2005 model. No HDMI, No VGA.
It can process signals up to 720p and 1080i via the component (an interestingly it makes a huge difference over SD even though the native panel is 480..!?!)
Am I right in thinking that the iPod component cable will also be R,G,B and therefor might be a suitable trial? Ie. if the TV accepts the input from the iPod then it should work for the mini?
Only other thing of note is I'm doing all this via my Denon 1707 AV amp which does have the facility of upscaling, but I imagine it needs to stick to one format?
    Thanks.

Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

Right-click on the CWAI control on your form. Choose Properties. The first tab is the Channels tab. After you choose your device from the drop down box on the right, you can type in the Channels box which channel you want to use.
If you want to see a CWAI control that is already configured, all of the shipping examples will have this already done.
Also, if you have questions about any item on the CWAI (or any other NI ActiveX control) you can click the ? icon in the right corner of the properties page and then click on the item in the dialog that you need help with. This "What's this" help will describe that particular control on the dialog.
    Hope that helps!

    apple care +
That is the extended warranty (total of 2 years including the standard warranty for the first year) for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone, etc).
For either, the standard warranty is usually referred to as hardware warranty (not Applecare); see an example for the warranty for an iMac:

whereas the extended Applecare is referred to as that:
