What is the Exact Size of the Company Logo?

Hi DBA's
Can anybody tell me What is the Exact Size of the Company Logo for my login page of the Ebussiness Suit R12.1.1.
Best Regards,
SG

Do you mean Exact size in dimensions(width/height) or size of the picture?
For the size there is no max limit on the image but better to take the lightest image size in jpg, gif or png formats.
And for the dimensions there is no limit.

Why Acrobat x professional is changing the text formatting specifically the font family  and the font size of the text in my pdf on exporting it to Microsoft word file format ?How should i stop Acrobat x professional from doing that so that i get an exactly same word file on exporting it from its pdf counterpart?

I was testing the preciseness & efficiency of Adobe acrobat x professional's doc conversion capabilities. As i have to take a document editing project in future which is going to need lot of pdf to word and vice versa conversions . What I did was I created a test word document converted into a pdf using a pdf maker in my word 2007 , Acrobat did convert the document from word to pdf keeping everything in the source file intact , However when i tried the other way round and attempted to convert the same pdf to word 2007 file format I lost my formatting ?So the font that I used to create the pdf are the ones taken from word 2007 which i believe is using the fonts that are installed in my computer. Any suggestions on how to preserve the formatting of the document after converting it from pdf to word file format?
    Regards

  • What is the exact name of the cable I need to connect my old hard drive from my macbook pro (it has been taken out of the computer) to my new macbook pro?  I need to transfer files from the old hard drive to the new computer.

No eSATA to USB. Just a SATA/IDE to USB adapter. Google SATA/IDE to USB adapter and you will get tons of links to buy them. Most likely your local computer electronics store has them, although they might be more expensive buying locally than online.
I have several. You can get either USB 2, which what I recommend, or USB 3. USB is backward compatible so a USB 3 adapter will work on a USB 2 port and a USB 2 adapter will work on a USB 3 port. Backward compatible in both directions.
I suggest a USB 2 type because there have been some problems with certain USB 3 devices, the USB 3 interface used isn't all that good in those certain devices. USB 3 is still fairly new where as USB 2 has been around for over 10 years.

The largest capacity HDD that you can install is the HGST 1.5 TB HDD:

Any 2.5" 9.5mm thick SATA HDD will fit and operate in your MBP, regardless of capacity.

  • Specifying the exact size of a rectangle or line - Adobe Acrobat Professional 8

I am making a few modifications to an existing document of a scale drawing (1mm to 300mm).
When using the Line Tool or Rectangle Tool Is it possible to draw a line or rectangle to be an exact size on the drawing. Is there a way to specify the exact dimension's you'd like something to be? For example, is there a way for me to draw a box with the exact dimensions 300mm by 500mm?

    Hello Michal,
    I tried your solution 1. I un-installed both Reader 7.0.8 and Professional 8.0.
    Then I re-installed Reader 7.0.8.
Then I re-installed Professional 8.0, but no where during installtion process did it ask me if Professional 8.0 should be default to open PDF files. By default it set it to open PDF files. Now I'm back to original problem.
Solution 2 still works (i.e. open Reader 7.0.8) before opening the URL in web browser (then it opens in Reader 7.0.8).
But we want a permanent solution.
    Please help.
    Thanks,

  • Need help setting the exact size of my JSlider

Hello everyone. I'm trying to build a small program to help people learn a about RGB colour values, and at the same time teach myself a bit more about Java. Things have been going fine so far until I came to setting my JSlider's size. The intention is to have three JSliders with a JPanel next to each. The I need the track of the slider to be exactly 256 pixels tall (one pixel per gradient value painted into the adjacent JPanel) plus whatever extra padding and spacing the Look And Feel dictates.
I've got the height set to 256 pixels in the following code, but it makes the JSlider as a whole 256 pixels tall and so squishes the track. I've set the minor tick spacing to 2 so that if the track was actually 256 pixels tall, the ticks would alternate over each screen pixel. If you compile and run the code, you will notice that a few ticks appear next to each other without a one-pixel gap between them. I've also verified it by taking a screen capture, pasting it into the GIMP and then using the measure tool to check the size.
I've tried searching through the API documentation to find ways of doing it, or to see if some ideas I've had so far were possible, but so far, I've not found anything particulairly satisfactory. I even tried to see if I could set the JSlider size to current JSlider size minus the track size, plus 256, but I couldn't find a way of getting the current size of the track.
Can anyone help me out here? I'm rather stuck.

Here's the code with all but the JSliders stripped out. Sorry about having to put it in a seperate post; the forum wouldn't allow it.

  • What is the maximum size of the dmp(exp) file?

    Friends,
    OS: RHEL AS 3.0
    DB: Oracle 9iR2
Daily i am taking the dmp file backup using exp utility.
Now the file size is 777MB.
What should be the maximum size of the dmp file.?
if it crosses 1GB, is it possible to copy the dmp file from production server to test server using putty?
In future we are planning to upgrade our 9iR2 db to 10gR2 db.
if i use the export dmp file of 1GB file size for upgrading from 9iR2 to 10gR2, will there be any problem
Note: I am also taking user managed backup.
    thanks

Regarding your question about using exp/imp for 9iR2 to 10gR1/2 upgrade, I've used it a lot for the same purpose without any problems, BUT I'm talking about application schemas with only tables/indexes and views. Don't know what would happen with more complex objects...
If you have concerns about your export dump file size, there is always compression

  • Lightning to 30 pin adapter with a lightning end is the same size as the cable that comes with the phone?

Has anyone found a lightning to 30 pin adapter where the lightning end is the same size as the cable that comes with the phone?  I know there have been some non-apple versions, but I can't tell if they are the same as the Apple versions where the lightnin end is slightly bigger than the cabe that ships with the phone.  Most iPhone bumpers only accomodate the original charing cabe ad the adapter cable is just slighter bigger and doesnt fit.  Also, i'm not referring to the square, cable-less adapter.

Depending on your caes I shaped mine carefully with a craft knife seems all the case manufacturers designed the cases for lightning cables but seemed blind to the adapter and it's likely use

  • Is there a way to change the font-size in the html element

I notice that by default, the font-size in the boilerplate.css file is set to 100%. Is there a way to set it to something else such as 62.5%? I would like to see exactly what my content will look like in my WordPress theme. I build my themes using a font-size of 62.5%. This make's it very easy to do the arithmetic when using the "rem" unit.
I tried manually changing the size in the css boilerplate file but that did not work. If this cannot be done in the current version, I may be a usful feature in a future version. Thanks.

If you click on "Body" in the status bar and select the Styling tab, you can set the text properties that cascade from the body element.

  • Problem in framing or understanding the exact approach for the specificatio

Hi , I got a task to create a java program , but actually I am not able to understand what I need to do . I mean , there are some Filie System , flat file scenarios and space given . So please explain me what exactly I need to code and what is the actual requirement. The problem given as-
**I do not need the entire code .
A specification for a very simple file system stored inside a flat file (FS). There is an associated index file (FI) which provides meta-data to the data inside the flat file (FS).
FS:- FS cannot be larger than 1 MB. The entire space in FS is divided into blocks of 128 bytes.
FI:- FI provides meta-data regarding what is stored in FS. Directories, sub-directories and files are supported. Files can be binary or text which is marked in the meta-data. The following is a detailed description of FI -
FI consists of a sequence of entries or records. Each record (R) is 48 bytes long. Each record has an index and is referred by its index. There can be a max 8192 Records if each file is exactly one block long. Therefore FI can be at most 8192 x 48 = ~384KB in size. The structure of each Record is -
    *1 2 3 4 5*
    *|-----------------|--|--|---|-------|*
    *1 - Name (32 bytes)*
    *2 - Attribs (2 bytes) Described below*
*3 - Directory Entry (2 bytes) - what is the parent directory of this record*
    *4 - Size (4 bytes) - File size, 0 for Directory*
    *5 - Blocks list (8 bytes)*
Name - The file/dir name can be at most 32 bytes long. Only ascii alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
The only symbols allowed are - $ and .
A string shorter than 32 characters is terminated with an ascii value of 0.
Attributes - Only the relevant attributes are described here
*1st bit - if set is a File else Dir*
*3rd bit - if set is a Text file else Binary*
Dir Entry - The index of the parent’s Record in FI. The root entry has this value as 0.
Size - The actual size of the file (not the block count), always 0 for directories
Blocks list - Lists which blocks in FS holds the contents of this record. 8 bytes allows for 4 block indices to be specified each of size 2 bytes. If a file is larger than 4 block sizes (i.e. larger than 512 bytes) then a chaining mechanism is used where the last 2 bytes of the block from FD is used to point to the next block in FS.  Suppose if the file is of 8 block size, then the last 2 bytes of 4th block will point to 5th block and last 2 bytes of 5th block points to 6th block and so on.
Directories will not have any block entries.
The root directory always occupies R[0].
    Problem
A] Write a class com.progress.test.FSReader which has a static read method and takes as its only argument a file path similar to \files\abc.txt and returns a String of its contents.
If the path provided is not a file or not a text file null must be returned. No exceptions must be thrown.
    Signature -> String com.progress.test.FSReader.read(String path)

In CS 5, the font size in the type tool isn't working correctly.
Example: 30 point looks like 4 point
    How can I correct it?

In case you have not fixed this, take a look at your Image Size (Ctrl Alt i).  The default when you make a new document window is 72ppi which can result in smaller text than you sometimes expect.  If you open Image size, turn off resample, and change the resolution to something like 300, you'll get much larger type for the same settings.
For this reason one of the first things I do after installing Photoshop, or resetting Preferences, is to open Preferences > Units & rulers, and set Type to mm.  This way I know that if the document is set to A4, and orientated in landscape (297mm x 210mm) setting text to 21mm is going to result in type exactly one tenth the height of the document.
I believe people in America still use inches, but unfortunately inches are not an option for Type units in Preferences.  It is easy enough to work it out in your head though. A 10x8 document with type set to 25mm will give you text one eighth the height of the document.
The bottom line is you can at least predict what is going to happen when setting text size.

  • How can I change the font size on the post of WordPress?

I have found three websites which address WordPress style sheets:
    Playing With Fonts: http://codex.wordpress.org/Playing_With_…
    Font Size and Color: http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/…
How to Change Font Size In Wordpress: http://www.ehow.com/how_5469172_change-f…
Here are the instructions from the third website above:
    Things You'll Need:
    Site designed in Wordpress
    Administrator access
    Step 1
First, to change the font size on a Wordpress site you need to log into the site as administrator. If you do not know how to reach the login page, simply add "/wp-login.php" after the "www.url.com" address. Then login using the admin sign in.
    Step 2
Next, get to the Wordpress file editor by going to Appearance->Editor.
    Step 3
Once in Editor, identify the Stylesheet file (style.css) and click to edit. This is usually located on the right hand side under the "Styles" heading.
    Step 4
Once in the style.css file, you want to conduct a search for "fontsize". This parameter is used throughout the style.css file and is the parameter used to control font size. Next to "fontsize" you will see something like "16px". Simply increase or decrease the "16" to change font size. The tricky part is to figure out which "fontsize" you want to edit.
The way to do this is to first look at the heading it is under. If it is under "comment-template", it is obviously related to either the font size of the comments themselves or perhaps the comment form or the date/time stamp of the comment.
It may take a little trial and error to find the right "fontsize" to modify. Simply modify the one you think is correct and in a separate window, reload the page with the font you are looking to modify. If it did not change, undo the previous edit and try a different "fontsize".
I went to the Dashboard and clicked on the “Appearance” icon on the left-hand side, and then clicked on editor. I clicked on Stylesheet (style.css), but I have not been able to find the “fontsize” that would change my post font size. As the author writes: "The tricky part is to figure out which "fontsize" you want to edit." Some of the font sizes are given as a percentage, and I don’t know if these come into question, i.e., if I should try changing one of these to see what happens.
The end result is that I still have not been able to change my post font size, other than by using the Heading-1-through-6 option, which, I understand, is not the best way to do it.

From John Waller: “If you're using IE8, hit F12 to launch Developer Tools which give you a point and click method of locating the relevant CSS rule on screen.”
I have Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) so tried this method.
This sounded like another promising possibility; however, I have not been able to change the font size in my post using this method.
I have gone to Dashboard > Posts > Edit > then moused-over my post > clicked on "edit" and then hit F12. An enormous amount (20 pages or more) of CSS appears. I tried picking out the font size that I thought pertains to the post (under Text Area), and I have changed the font size from 13px to 24px; however, I have not been able to “save” the new setting. When I go back to it, it is back to 13px.
As a result, I have not been able to use a trial-and-error method to establish which font size I must change in order to change the font size of my post.
