What is the general cost for NW SSO 2.0 solutions?

Hello Masters,
Besides "Account Manager on SAP side" mentioned in OSS Note 1876552 could somebody be able to share some experiences/ideas what the general cost is about each NW SSO 2.0 solution? As different solution need different components, right? So I would understand how to license each solution? Is it number of user based or component based or other approaches to calculate?
S1: Single Sign-On with Kerberos
- Secure Login Client
- Secure Login Library
- SPNego for ABAP
- Plus, any additional cost if HTTPS used
etc...
S2: Single Sign-On with Certificates
- Secure Login Client
- Secure Login Server
- Secure Login Library
- SPNego for ABAP/JAVA
- Plus, any additional cost if HTTPS used
etc...
S3: Single Sign-On with SAML 2.0
S4: Password Manager
Kind Regards,
Jinlong

SCN is not the right place for licensing discussions. You might want to check out the list prices on SAP Store. Pricing is based on the amount of users (external/internal) not on which features are used.

  • What is the general advise for remote servers stuck on boot/startup?

    Hi,
I'm half a state away from a server I'm trying to connect to. The remote location has 2 Mac Mini Servers (A and B)
Unfortunately I goofed the restart order after arranging a network wide restart. Goofed in the sense that I forgot to open up RDP ports (for ARD) on the firewall to the "B" server while I did the restarting.
So I carelessly restarted both at the same time, only having a VPN tunnel to the "A" server that ended up not starting up correctly.
The "B" server started up correctly (as the mail is functioning through it). The "A" server I asked a local person to look at and it seems to be on, but basically is not responding to any VPN attempt... meaning it didn't make it to the login screen. I've had a local person reset it twice (switch off, switch on) with no change.
I'm arranging to web conference to a PC on the remote network and enable the firewall openings to allow (Apple Remote Desktop) ARD to access the RDP on each server. I believe with ARD I can send commands to it...
What can I do from my position? I'm not 100% sure I can control the "A" server with ARD... Anybody with any experience with this?
I'll update my status when I have established ARD connectivity.
    Message was edited by: MAkahane

With the help of a local user I was able to re-open the ARD ports (our companies web conference was unable to connect to this remote site!?!). Another hard reset from the local end was able to get the "A" server back online. I did not get a chance to see if ARD could actually do it itself.
I did not necessarily go into the situation I imagined I would, but for future reference... Remember to open those ARD ports before you do anything like restarting!

  • What is the replacement cost for iphone 5?

  • WHat is the total cost for a year with an Iphone?

Considering getting an Iphone and wondering if I go to the apple store to purchase do I seperately have to contact ATT for my wireless plan or is it one stop shopping in that I can select everything at the Mac Store?

It is one stop, if you are eligible you can purchase your subsidized phone and your AT&T account. But AT&T requires a credit check, if they are still open in your area I would go do that in one of their stores now and you can then check the monthly rates available for voice/data/texting.

  • What are the possible cost objects for raw material consumption postings

what are the possible cost objects for raw material consumption postings. i want to know whether it can be work order(maintenance order).

For example, you are confirming a process order and issuing raw materials to the process order, the system in the background creates the consumption posting and will by default use the process order as a cost object.
Similarly, when you are issuing materials to a work order, you will use MB1A and with movement type 261 and the system prompts you to enter the order number.  If you are using movement type 201, then the system prompts you to enter the cost center and so on.
    Thanks,

  • I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8 processor dual 2 ghz powerpc g5 what is the next update for that?

I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8 processor dual 2 ghz powerpc g5 what is the next update for that?

There is none. You are at the end for a PPC machine. To upgrade you need to purchase an Intel Mac.
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • What is the typical cost of replacing the cooling fan the laptop is HP Pavillion DV6 6165tx.

What is the typical cost of replacing the cooling fan in a
laptop computer ? (In India in Indian Rupees)?
The laptop is HP Pavillion DV6 6165tx. The cost means
    fan cost plus labour charges.

    Hi,
You should know this better than us. Normally part is around $40 (more or less) and labour can be $50 to $200. I would charge this for $400 (minimum) or free.

  • What is the best practice for creating primary key on fact table?

what is the best practice for primary key on fact table?
    1. Using composite key
    2. Create a surrogate key
    3. No primary key
In document, i can only find "From a modeling standpoint, the primary key of the fact table is usually a composite key that is made up of all of its foreign keys."
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e16579/logical.htm#i1006423
I also found a relevant thread states that primary key on fact table is necessary.
    Primary Key on Fact Table.
But, if no business requires the uniqueness of the records and there is no materilized view, do we still need primary key? is there any other bad affect if there is no primary key on fact table? and any benifits from not creating primary key?

Well, natural combination of dimensions connected to the fact would be a natural primary key and it would be composite.
Having an artificial PK might simplify things a bit.
Having no PK leads to a major mess. Fact should represent a business transaction, or some general event. If you're loading data you want to be able to identify the records that are processed. Also without PK if you forget to make an unique key the access to this fact table will be slow. Plus, having no PK will mean that if you want to used different tools, like Data Modeller in Jbuilder or OWB insert / update functionality it won't function, since there's no PK. Defining a PK for every table is a good practice. Not defining PK is asking for a load of problems, from performance to functionality and data quality.

  • What is the best plan for me? *please read details*

My parents are getting me a 4S for my birthday but I have to pay for the plan.
    - I live in Alberta
    - I will use less than 500MB data
    - I have many friends in different provinces I will be texting
    - I never talk on the phone for more than 200 min a month
    - I'm currently with Koodo
    - I will be in Costa Rica for 4 months in the new year; I am probably gonna get a SIM card when I'm down there.
What's the best service provider, and what's the best plan for me?

    Thanks, Meg.
So would a Verizon device-only iPhone 5S still be the better choice if I plan to use GSM in the US (and not the CDMA part of the Verizon iPhone which would lock me to their service).
Ideally, if I had the device in my hand, I would like to use TMobile's prepaid plan (40$ for unlimited talk, text, and 500 mb of data). Upon getting the phone, couldn't I just discard the included verizon simcard (without my activation) and just pop in the TMobile SIM card since the Verizon device-only instrument comes with the GSM unlocked? ( In other words, I don't have to ask Verizon to unlock the GSM part of the iPhone 5S )
Also, if this is what my goal is (to use a prepaid Tmobile sim), I could just buy an unlocked sim-free iPhone 5S from Apple, right? I dont have to ask for a Verizon device-only iPhone 5S if I want nothing to do with Verizon or use their CDMA service? I'm guessing a device-only iPhone 5s (regardless of carrier label) is the same as unlocked sim-free iphone 5S?
