What is the "in point" in multicam sync?
Making a multi-cam sequences out of two heavily-trimmed sequences (yes I KNOW it'll ultimately result in a TRIPLE-nested sequence). But the camera guy messed up the beginning of the overture, and I have eight other performances (MAGIC FLUTE and I'm the company videographer but not the camera person for this shoot). So the plan is to graft the overture from a different show, then mark in-points on the sequence from the wide camera and the close-up unit that exactly match an audio cue.
PROBLEM: We know that an in-point on a sequence (created by pressing "i") will mark a specific frame, so we mark them and then, in the Create Multi-cam Sequence dialogue, choose to sync to "in-points". But the software syncs to the beginning of the sequence which has the overture still playing in one version while the dragon is being slain by the Three Ladies in the other.
Adobe TS explains that "in-point" in the context of the multi-cam dialog means "the beginning of the sequence". Am I the only one confused here? After getting advice from TS to mark the clips at the clip level and join the clips, rather than sequences built from the clips, into a multi-cam source, I was able to easily sync but I lost all my editing and think it's more risky to have to trim a multi-cam than trim a sequence before building the multi-cam. There doesn't seem to be a way to sync it from the edited sequences.
My gripe is with the use of the words "in-point" in the dialog box. If they really meant "beginning of the sequence" and the intention was to just line up the sequence starts with one another they should say so, instead of using words that mean something else in similar contexts (i.e. setting in and out-points in a sequence). Better yet, ADD the feature to line the sequences up at in-points or out-points!!!
I believe that has to do with an app update - perhaps the app has an update outstainding, or it was just updated.

And also check the release notes of ECC 6.0 in service.sap.com.
When you are upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6
Nothing major, follow the same process you'd follow if you were updating PI service packs in R/3 or enhancing data sources. Empty queues in RSA7 and lbwq. Also empty setup tables through lbwg as the upgrade doesn't like it if these tables contain data. This is all on the R/3 side (although you empty RSA7 by running each delta TWICE in BW).
To transfer queues from lbwq to rsa7, execute jobs through LO cockpit (lbwe).
Some of your data sources could also be using sm13 instead of lbwq, so do check it out as well.
For installing ECC 6.0 you required a solution manager key. With out solution manager key you cannot install ECC6.0.
For ECC 6.0 is called net weaver component here you have ABAP+JAVA stack.
ECC6.0 supports UNCODE.
For installing 4.6 you don't require solution manager key. It only having ABAP stack.
4.6C supports NONUNICODE.
Major difference is ECC6 is netwear product having WASJAVA+ABAP
secondly support unicode apart from this we have other diff. you can get form master guide from service.sap.com/instguides.
Please go through the link that is shown here and if there is any doubts then feel free to ask.

Hello crysta33,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The screen with an iTunes logo and cord indicates the device is in recovery mode, and will need to be restored by using iTunes. Take a look at the articles below for more information.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

Introduction:
SAP PPS1.0 is an addon to SAP SRM5.0 addressing requirements of public sector procurement. SAP SRM is used as functional frontend to support the main procurement processes:
Public tendering
Awarding
Contract negotiation
Purchase order creation
SAP PPS1.0 has been designed to work in the extended classic scenario, where SAP ERP 2004 functions as backend supporting the processes:
Sales Order processing
Purchase Requisition processing
Goods Receipt processing
Invoice Receipt processing
Main Features:
PPS 1.0 features a couple of unique functions designed for the needs of public sector customers, namely:
Document Builder Integration
Records Management Integration
Smart document numbering
Funds Management integration
Acceptance at Origin
Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
Contract Tracking and Monitoring
Close Out Execution
Enhanced Versioning
FPDS Reporting
Guaranteed Minimum
Maximum Quantity per Period
Public Sector User Status
Reason Codes for Document Changes
Smart numbering of procurement documents
Selective Release
Sourcing Priorization
In the next couple of blog posts I want to describe the different features and give some guidelines for the implementation of the functionality.
What Next?
I plan to start with the smart numbering which is called as well "long procurement number"

What does the exclamation point mean next to a song that is unchecked?
what does the exclamtion point mean next to a song that is unchecked?
If you hover over the exclamation mark (or you may need to click on it, I can't remeber), it should tell you. Usually, it means that the original file (for that song) cannot be found, either because it has been moved, renamed or deleted.

What are the integration points with sd and qm
hi,
sap gurus,
good morning to all,
what are the integration points with SD and QM.
in r/3.
regards,
balaji.t
09990019711Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM. Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.
thanks

What are the integration points with sd and pm
hi,
sap gurus,
good morning to all,
what are the integration points SD and PLANT MAINTAINCE.
REARDS,
balaji.t
09990019711Balji,
There is no major integration b/w SD and PM.
But PM is integrated with CS for all service and repair orders.,
If you really want to see where they can be ssen integrated
Eg:
Pm deifines the roles for the people in shopfloor,if you can make use of these roles and give authorization of removal of credit block to them then it is integrated.
Even when a new machine is purchased or repaired or overhauled the amount is passed to repective cost center internally.

What is the best way to edit/sync two video files?
Has anyone had experience with editing 2 movies files? I have recently taken video with 2 cameras of the same quality and am attempting to 'merge' the two video files. What's the best way to 'sync' the 2 files?
ThanksThe real answer is to do this in Final Cut Pro X with the new multicam feature with automatic syncing using the audio wave forms.
However, it is quite possible in iMovie.
Here is how I did it in iMovie.
I recently did this for a video of my niece's senior voice recital. (Video is below)
The key is to use the Cutaway feature of iMovie. If you are not familiar with Cutaway, here is a good tutorial from Ken Stone.
I used the side camera as my base clips, and used the back camera as the cutaway clips. The back camera audio track was OK but had too much coughing and noise.
Here are tips for getting it lined up perfectly.
1) In iMovie/Preferences make sure that you check "Display Time as hh:mm:ss:frames" so you can edit to the frame level. (Also, select "Show Advanced Tools so you get the Cutaway feature)
2) In the iMovie Project View, set the thumbnail slider to 1/2 second so you have a great deal of control.
3) Initially, leave the volume at 100% on the Cutaway track, so that both tracks are playing. You can hear when they are off.
4) Click the "Waveforms" button in the Project view, so you get a visual cue of how to line up the tracks.
5) Between the audible cues and the visual cues, you can nudge the cutaway back and forth one frame at a time by dragging until you have it perfect.
6) When it is lined up to your satisfaction, set the volume slider of the Cutaway track to zero, and turn off the waveforms. You can also move the thumbnail slider back to 5 seconds or so.
7) For some of the fine work, I switched to the "single row timeline view". This slows you down a bit, but lets you see the waveforms more clearly.
8) I made heavy use of the iMovie Comment Marker feature. I watched the whole base video/audio track and inserted comment markers at the points where I wanted the Cutaway to begin and end. For example, a comment might say "Insert Cutaway 1". I would usually time the cutaway so it started at a distinct audio event, such as when the piano start. This comment marker made it easy to drag my cutaway to a point that was approximately correct.
9) If you need to do a lot of cutaways, I find that it helps to use the SPLIT CLIP command in your project. This way you can have a single cutaway per clip, and this makes it easier to manage and is less processor and memory intensive for iMovie. I would use the comments to mark the entry and exit points of the cutaway as described above. I would then select that portion of the clip that included these markers plus a little more, so that a yellow border is around the selection. Then right-click/SPLIT CLIP (or CLIP/SPLIT CLIP in the top menu). This does not physically splt the clip within the Event. It only virtually splits the clip in the project. -
In the Full Featured LabVIEW example, what makes the entry point button reappear?
My question is this: What piece of LV code or invoke node for the TS engine makes the Entry Point button reappear when a sequence file is loaded?
Background:
I've inherited a modified version of the Full Featured LabVIEW UI, which has been moderately modified (Enough so that restarting isn't really an option, but it's still similar enough to use them as comparisons for behaviors). Also, this code was started in LV2012/TS2012, and I'm migrating to LV2013/TS2013, but this behavior was consistent in both versions.
Here's what I've tried:
I found that when the Connect Command executes (See attachment), the button, which is a TSUI.IButton control, is gets greyed out or hidden. In the unmodified example UI that's provided with TestStand, the button reappears when a sequence file is loaded. The problem is that when I load a sequence file in my code, and click on it ahead of running, the button does not reappear. In my code, I can run the sequence successfully by right clicking on the sequence file and selecting Run, so I don't believe the sequence has an error, nor the process model.
Thanks in advance,
Seth

ConnectCommand.JPG 56 KBSeth,
The "options" input of the ConnectCommand function controls this. On the Help page for this input, you can see that there are options for "ignore enable" and "ignore visible". Either of these could impact the functionality of the entry point button. You might try making the options for both buttons 0 and see if this resolves the issue. If not, please let us know.

What does the Mouse Pointer with Letter 'M' mean?
Couldn't find any info on this via search, and I'm still a little new to LP8 so pardon this question if it's been asked many times before.
Just wondering what the mouse-pointer with the letter 'M' attached to it means. I notice it pops up when I open songs I made in Logic Pro 6 inside Logic Pro 8.
Thanks,
DavidNever ceases to amaze me how many times I answer my own questions on various forums but only, of course, after actually posting it. No wonder it didn't pop up on any searches.

What is the reason that reason wont sync
I load up a redrum, make a pattern and hit run and it plays thru fine till the end of the loop point in logic then on return to start of the loop it won't continue to cycle in my redrum... i see the little scrolling light stop on the redrum.????\
please explain how i get it to work.
thanksseriously i've tried this multiple times.
heres how i can get the error.
1. open logic
2. open reason and set the loop point to the end of bar 4
3. check loop on... it is linked, it sets the cycle to loop in both programs.
4. create a pattern in redrum. it plays fine and cycles with logic perfectly.
5. create a esp in logic.
6. now logic cycles fine, but reason stops at the end of the loop point!!!
7. this is incredibly stupid. what am i doing wrong????
