What is the last question at the end of auto-updates? "Allow" what? (I clicked on "Done" too fast.)
Hi, I installed an auto-update today, lazily clicked on "Done" at the end without taking the time to read the last "pop-up" dialog box. I saw options about "allowing" something but I did not get a chance to read the question before it disappeared. What was that last question???

some folks have been having some success with pgfpdwife's technique in the following post:

note carefully that the technique involves a registry edit. be sure to make a backup of any keys you edit. if you're unfamiliar with your registry or registry editing, head to your XP help and support, do a search on registry, and read through the articles that come up.

Myself, I count myself lucky. Everything works perfectly for me right now...email, bluetooth, maps, gps, 3rd party apps, battery life, 3G, wifi, etc. etc.
The only issue I've been having is the dreaded reboots but I believe that may have to do with 3rd party apps. I recently uninstalled Google Search app from my N78 and since then it hasn't rebooted or shown any issues. This seems odd at first but makes sense if you think about the fact that the Google Search app loads itself into memory and runs in the background at all times.
I did this this past Tuesday night and so far no reboots, crashes or any problems. I'm sure I just jinxed myself but I've been using it heavily over the last few days with no issues. Prior to this, it would usually reboot every 2 days. If it doesn't reboot for another few days I'll be happy.
I would normally not stand for this but I just love the phone and if I got something else it'd probably be the iPhone 3G which has perhaps more software bugs and issues than the N78-3!!

Well, the support document that you used to link here talks about restore error codes. Did you find the error code you received on that sheet? Do you have the latest version of iTunes loaded (v10.7) on the computer?

Does Flash Player auto-update have the ability to update systems when a user does not have administrator access on their device?
What will the results be if we enable Flash Player auto-update on OSX and Windows systems where:
1. Users are log in with accounts that DO NOT have administrator access; and
2. Internet access is granted via a proxy server, but only when a user with NO administrator credentials is logged in.

So there's no way to completely turn off user notification AND allow background updates unless you use a locally hosted update server? That's too bad.
Reading page 26 of the manual, I see there's an mms.cfg file that you can configure, with an option SilentAutoUpdateEnable, which is described on page 32:

The default value is 0 to disable background updates.
So you're saying that even if we enable this option (but don't configure a local server), users may still be prompted some or all of the time? -

Sounds like your phone was hacked to unlock. Restoring the phone put it back to Apple specs for that phone. You will need to find out which carrier it is locked to and see if you qualify for unlocking.

Has a release date for the patch been posted anywhere?It means we are all waiting (not all) for the boot camp update so we don't have to do all these funky work arounds. Although I don't think the boot camp update will be the end all of updates, it will make me feel better about installing Win7 on my i7 machine.

And in case of emergency for the material to the end user at different locations, delivery is to be done at the end user location not at the storage location.. Where to give the end user location address .As delivery address in PO item details will be plant address. pl help

chandrasekharAs i underdstand from your description of issue .You dont want to recive the material in the storage location of your main plant but you want to recive the goods directly to the end user from the vendor.This is typical scenario of Third party PO ..so kindly traise third part PO to vendor ..by changing the item category ...and so the delivery addfres popolutaed in ur PO will be directly from the ship to address from your sales order.rathewr than the storgae location you wd have specified in ur material master

my MAc Book PRO 13" Retina display will not update. It crashes every time I try to do an update. I have sent in the information on each update but so far nothing back from Apple. Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.
That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.

How do I auto-update the date (in a footer) in Pages 5.2.2 ?
I have inserted the date into the footer of my document. I am running Pages 5.2.2 on Mavericks.
I would like the date to auto-update to today's date. I found a post from 2013 ( How to auto-update Time and Date?), but my version of pages doesn't work as described. The only choice is update to today's date as a button I can manually click, but there doesn't seem to be an auto-update check box anymore. Click once in the Footer.
Menu > Insert > Date & Time.
Double click to select the Date & Time in the Footer and choose a Date & Time format
And there is also the Set to Today button.
Waiting several minutes (just enough time for a cup of coffee) and then clicking the Set to Today button, the time changes from 9:53 pm to 9:59 pm.
I can't wait until tomorrow to see if the date changes, but I think it will .
Another way (clunky) is to insert a single-cell table somewhere in your document and type =now and format to your liking.
As far as I know, Date & Time will update after you Save and then Open your document. Please call back after you test.

Despite numerous attempts to utilize your suggested "fix" to the disappearing tool bar problem, the results remained unchanged (i.e. tool bar immediately appears for customization, but immediately disappears upon exiting the tool bar customization screen).
In an effort to determine if transactional sequencing may have any impact on affecting the appearance/disappearance of the add-on tool bar, in addition to attempting to resolve the current challenge through the use of the Firefox safe mode and reset tool bar functionality, I also elected to change the sequence in which I modified the desired "customization(s)", as well as the methodology for exiting the customization screen, Firefox safe mode (e.g. click-on Done, exit through X, exit and renter FF safe mode, with and without closing the customization screen, etc...).
Further in addition to following the documented transactions, I also exited and reentered the Windows 7 O.S., as well as exiting and reentering Firefox safe mode and Firefox.
Unfortunately, despite the myriad of methodologies I attempted, the resultant effect remained the same (i.e. immediate disappearance of add-on tool bar, when clicking-on Done or exiting the screen and/or system).
However, I did notice one anomaly, which heretofore had gone unnoticed due to benefits garnered rather than features lost.
Since the beginning of the this recent disappearing tool bar challenge, the add-ons which I select and locate on the URL address line continue to remain on screen, despite the disappearance of the add-on tool bar and all selected add-on "customizations" reflected in the add-on tool bar, regardless of any/other changes.
I want to thank you for your valuable contribution to the "hopeful" resolution of this most recent problem and I sincerely apologize for the delay in responding your suggestion. Thanks xI have the same problem but in reverse. I clicked on don't allow in FaceBook when I was asked to allow it to access my photos and videos. I have been into the privacy settings as suggested by FaceBook and there is no link.
