What is the most versatile way to conform production audio after the edit has started?

This problem keeps coming up on various projects and I have yet to find the best way to recover from it: A project will be synced with incomplete production audio. Either it will be delivered to post late or an AE brought it in with the incomplete number of channels.
I'm trying to find the best way to conform audio to an edit that has already been cut with all channels accessible in the timeline. FYI, the audio I would need to conform usually has the same timecode as the audio already in the cut. It sort of works to match frame and resync to the original nested/merged clips but if, for example, the audio is 5 channels the audio shows up in the timeline nested as 2 channels. This means every time I need to do a production audio edit I have to match back to the nested clip and edit there instead of the actual edit itself.
I know I must be missing something here that could make this really easy to recover from. Often the circumstances in which this happens are completely out of my control.

If the channels always matched, I'd say the easiest would probably be to just replace the old audio on the hard drive with the new, delete all Cache files and rebuild.
Given the difference in channels, I think the easiest solution may simply be to not begin editing until you have final audio.
Failing that, you just might be stuck with a tedious mess.

run() is a method in the object that the thread executes.

On visiting the store we get only one reply you may write to Apple directely. we have the similar kind of problem with iPad which is being used by my wife Mr.Neelam Vij and paid Rs.16000/- to get it replaced within a year & 6months use. so in totality we have paid Rs.28500/- + Rs. 3000/- diagnostic charges.

Moreover, we have no information to contact whom. even the replace set has a warranty of only three month which further confirm that Apple itself is not confident wheather product will last after replacement for more then three month. The basic steps are asm, crs, db, listener, nodeappsTypo there? First CRS then ASM.
Also, if you are running ocfs2, then the very 1st step would be ocfs2 (if your voting and OCR disks are on a ocfs2 volume, it needs to mount before CRS can start).

Does anyone know why or what is the reason when starting a new iMac with Lion, sometimes a gray bar appears under the Apple that begins to shade to dark as it loads OS? It does this on occasion. One time the system loaded was VERY slow and terrible colors. Pulled the plug, re-started the computer and it did not do this. As I say, its only on occasion, not every time. I noticed in the discussion page there were problems listed for 10.6 nothing for Lion.
Please advise, if possible.

You should see this 4 option menu. Click on Disk Utility:
In Disk Utility, Select FIRST AID and then VERIFY and then REPAIR the disk.

Reader SDK: any way to see what text the user has selected?

I'm using the Adobe Reader SDK with C#, looking at the interapplication communication features.
I can open a document in Reader and allow the user to user the reader tools like select text, etc.
Here's the problem: I want to have my application know what text the user currently has selected. And I'd like it to know the name of the field that the user has selected, not just the text of the field.
Microsoft Office's Interop has something like this:
currentDocument.GetSelectedText();
Is there any way to do this with IAC or the javascript or plug-in features of the Reader SDK?
If not, can it be done with the Acrobat API? I've looked through both sets of documentation, and haven't found what i needed.

To write a plug-in for the Adobe Reader you need to go through 2 separate steps.
Step one - Download the Adobe Acrobat SDK (from here http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat)
and build your plug-in against the Acrobat product, following the documentation to make sure you only use API's that are available in the Reader program. The documentation tells you what version of the Adobe ACrobat or Reader program is needed for the function and whether the function can be called in Reader.
Step two - Apply for a Reader certificate to allow your plug-in to be loaded by the Reader, the link is on the same web page as the above link. This step can be initiated before you have created your plug-in, and I would recommend that you do start this process before you develop your plug-in as Adobe can refuse to give you the certificate in which case all your development would be wasted.
Only once you have permission form Adobe can you make your plug-in work with the reader application.
Once you have done both these steps there are plenty of people on this forum that can help you with specific problems you may encounter.
If you are not sure you have the knowledge to build the plug-in, there are plenty of people that you can hire to create the solution for you.

Before starting installation, I would like to find out What EDITION and VERSION is the SQL Server Software ISO.
Please note this is not to find out what version is the installed sql server but before the installation: Is there a note or abrv. that describes what kind of Edition and version is the ISO?

But assuming you can`t change the Product Key value (you are not provided that number, as you know it gets populated by itself) can you find out
what implies the corresponding edition? If there is a folder where this reference is store, could you provide the full file path where this folder is located?
The ideal solution would be a way to find out what the Edition
is befor we start installation.

Also just to add what I came across:
The SQL Server 2012 installation software comes with pretty much all edition in it, that kind of makes it difficult to easily identify what edition is the specific ISO, but when
one downloads from MSDN one must downloads the
right edition either Standard,
Enterprise, etc so that when you install it, it installs whatever edition is downloaded.
The best source would be whoever downloaded the software.
Also, before going too far, you can find out what edition it is being installed right before the setup wizard finishes on the
License Terms page (Microsoft Software License Terms Page) and if the edition is not the one you intended to install, you can cancel it there and everything will be rolled back- no hastle.

How can I see what MCS the customer has?

I am trying to determine what kind if HW the customer has, to see if we can use the existing server for the CCM4.2 upgrade or if we need a new one.
When looking at the server I could see that it is a 7815 (tower) and when doing a msinfo32 in the "Run" field I could see that it is an IBM machine with 1Ghz CPU and 512MB RAM, the model was 847931X, which I assume is an IBM xSeries 200 8479-31X.
Maybe you aren't the right forum to ask but the Swedish Cisco accountteam did not have any clues, to I thought I just might try you guys.
Buying a new server seems very unnecessary if they don't need to do it.

cisco currently recommends a 7815-I1 or IBMx206. these servers are 3 & 2ghz respectively with 2gb ram.

That's new to me, I thought a start condition was evaluated before the workflow started, and thus now workflow work item is available. That's why I think the only situation in which start conditions/check functions can't be used, is when the availability of a workflow log for investigation of exactly what stopped the workflow is a requirement.
