What is the need for movement type 107

Hi Gurus,
In ECC 6.0 i have seen that SAP has introduced 107 for GR Block stock (valuated). Can anyone tell me the business sense for doing so.
What was the exact need for introducing 107
Rgds
Venkat

Hi,
GR Blocked valuatedstock menas , when you do the GR with movement type 107 it  will posted under Plant and the value of the goods will be considerd/increased for that Plant. But the stock will be under Blocked Stock..It will not be used all other purpose till you do the transfer psting from Blocked to unresticted.
Thanks,

    What all is needed for this type of Flash Design Studio.
    There are a couple of sites out there that use both flash and
    shockwave. I am looking ot get somethign like this started and need

    Of the examples you showed, I saw Flash (Adobe Flash),
    Shockwave (Adobe
    Director), and JavaScript, but never a combination on the
    same site. (It
    might make sense to combine Flash with JavaScript or
    Shockwave with
    JavaScript, but not really to combine Flash with Shockwave.)

    Any of the above technologies will do it. You could also use
    a Java
    applet or even a .NET solution of some kind, so the choice
    you take will
    depend largely on what platform you want to support and code
    for. This sort
    of project will require significant amounts of custom
    programming. My
    personal approach would be to use Flash, mainly because of
    the popularity of
    the plugin. The Shockwave example looks beautiful, and I
    started out years
    ago using Director, but fewer people nowadays have the
    Shockwave plugin
    installed. It doesn't look like any of the sites shown use 3D
    modeling,
    which is the only relevant feature that Shockwave has over
    the other
    approaches. JavaScript (probably some Ajax approach) would
    work -- as
    seen -- but then you're dealing with compatibility issues
    among various
    JavaScript implementations in the great variety of browsers
    out there.
    Flash minimizes that, in my opinion.
    All you really "need" to produce what you've seen is Flash
    and some sort
    of database back end (MySQL, say), which means you'll need a
    bit of
    middleware (PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion, etc.) to act as your
    ambassador between
    Flash and the database.

  • MIRO should not happen for Movement Type 107

    Dear All,
    We have a peculiar scenario/requirement fulfilled by business and we have done almost all but getting stuck in below area:
    We have developed a output type in order to automatically post Mat Doc with Movement Type 107 once the user reverses Material Document with Mvt Type 103, This as per a business requirement. That means when 104 will be done for a Mat Doc with Mvt Type 103, "PO History Tab" will display in following order:
    103 > 104 > 107
    After 107, user will reverse it with Mvt Type 108 and specific G/L accounts will be hit which will update the "PO History" as:
    103 > 104 > 107 > 108
    Now issue is we want MIRO to be possible for Mvt Type 108, not for Mvt Type 107 else it will create a vendor liability twice and business will end up paying amount to vendor twice.
    How can this be achieved?
    Your sound suggestions are most welcome.

  • What is the Need for communication between Flex ActionScript to Javascript

    Hi ,
    Flex has made it communication possible from FLEX Mx:script to Java Script .
    Can anybody could please tell me what is the need or any scenario  for communication Flex with Javascript
    Thanks in advance .

    1- Printing in Flex is terrible (although for simpler requirements it can do fine), true, but it's not incredibly better elsewhere in the browser unless I'm missing the point.  This can be gotten around for many by streaming PDFs or Excel spreadsheets from a server, though.
    2- If it has to be web, I guess you're stuck.  If it can be an installed app (AIR) I'd prefer to hook into Java.  Like I said, there may be some limited specific uses, but good reasons to base the majority of your app on JS hacks are hard to come by.

  • Change the behavior for movement type 309 - Account post PRD

    Dear friends ,
    We need to transfer material to material using movement type 309.
    These material are using price control "S".
    When we transfer from material A to material B the price difference stay stopped in the PRD account.
    We need to revaluate the material B automatically and not let the price difference stopped in the PRD... when we run the Material Costs..via Material ledger.
    Does anyone knows a way to change this behavior ?
    best regards,
    Alessandro

    Dear Revi thanks for your answer !
    One more thing...
    We cannot change the valuation from S to V in the material B.
    Regarding the PRD postings... when the Controlling team runs the Material Ledger the price for material B should be changed/updated automatically, Am I right ?
    And then the PRD account must be cleared...
    Or I continue to do the MR22 manuall...or better... create an Abap program to run automatically clearing the PRD posting agains't the material via MR22 to correct the cost of this material.
    thanks once more.

But Why we need this MESSAGE TYPE, what is the use of this.Please don't show me the links. I hope there is a specific purpose for MESSAGE TYPE. Help me out to figure out that purpose

    hi,
    Interface editor: The Interface editor provides us to create
    Data types
    Message types
    Message Interfaces
    Data type: To define the structure or schema as how many fields and what fields are required by the application system. Basically a .XSD file can also be imported in Integration Repository using External Definitions available in Integration Repository. Data types are the abstract in nature that are not fixed to an element.
    Message types: A message type is an envelope which encapsulates data type. Message type corresponds to the root of the XML message.
    Message interfaces: The basic purpose of message interface is used to define the direction of data flow i.e. whether inbound or outbound.
    It also defines the mode of transport whether Synchronous or Asynchronous mode.

  • What is the need for static block?

    this was my interview question..
    what is the scenario where u need a static block?

    SO
    public static String foo = "FOO";
    and
    static
    public String foo="FOO";
    both are static blocks?I don't know what the JLS says about that term. The second one is usually called a static initializer. I wouldn't consider the first one a block, but the JLS may say differently.
    What is the difference between both?They're not quite the same.
    public static String foo = "FOO";
    // is equivalent to
    public static String foo;
    static {
      foo = Foo;
    }Note that the variable must be declared outside the block to be a class member variable.
    Now, consider the following, for which the static initializer block is necessary:
    static ComplexThingummy ct;
    static {
      try {
        ct = new ComplexThingrummy();
        ct.initializeSomethingSomehow();
      catch (CTCheckedException exc) {
        throw new ExceptionInInitializerError(exc);
        // OR
        ct = someDefaultPreInitializedComplexThingummy;
    }

  • What's the need for capitalization date and 1st acq. posting date?

    hi guys,
    i was wondering what the system would do with capitalization date and first acquisition posting date ??
    and what will be the problem if i entered an asset value date (in the acquisition transaction) that's earlier than the capitalization date entered in the asset master record ?!

    In practice all assets are not put to use right from the date of purchase.Hence the concept of different dates arises.  One being the acquisition date and the other Capitalization date.
    I would buy an asset today but start using it from a later date.  Depreciation has to be calculated from the date of capitalization and not acquisition. But still for record purpose date of purchase would be important.  Hence both the dates are maintained.
    Hope this has clarified your doubts.
    Thanks

  • What is the need  for TMG?

    Hi, iam new to ABAP......

    HI..
    We can use table maintenance for making the creation,deletion,changing the entries easily.
    We can even make use of the validations required for some fields thro' table maintenance,while creating the entry.
    If some fields need to be populated automatically while creating an record in a database,we can make use of table maintenance for this purpose.
    When the extended table maintenance is called, a work area is fetched from the database into an internal buffer for processing on the screen. Either all entries in the database are fetched into the work area, or the selection can be restricted in a view definition or in the calling program.
    Field contents are maintained in an internal buffer, so the database is not automatically accessed after each individual record has been maintaIned. Changes made are only copied from the internal buffer to the database when save is chosen. This buffering gives the maintenance procedure a transaction orientation. This gives you the possibility of discarding changes before the database access (user-controlled "rollback") and allows consistency checks for all changed data, before it is written to the database.

    can anybody explain me about planning table, how and where to use that..

    Dear
    Use of planning table :
    1.Capacity Requirement Planning in Discrete and PP-PI indistutry
    2.For demanad management , you can create PIR and also generate MTS production order based on planned order for those PIR
    3.Decision making on CRP in planning table for operation dispatch , work centre , scheduling , detail scheduling , time , dates of capacity avalution is possible through Planning table under particular overall profile .

  • Restriction for Movement type 202

    Dear SAP Consultants,
    I want to make the restriction for Movement type 202 by material document.
    The user should only be able to do the 202 Movement type in MB1B with reference of 201 Movement only .
    Kindly give me the details for incorporating it .
    Best Regards
    Deepak Rade

    HI,
    202 movement type is the reversal movement type of 201 (goods issue to cost center)
    when we cancel material document with 201 system create reversal posting with 202
    And you can manually enter 202 movement type also in MB1A and MIGO
    Now if you want to restrict user to use 202 directly
    GO to OMJJ -> select movement type 202 ->allowed transaction ->Remove MB1A and MIGO and save
    So you can only cancel a material document of 201 to create 202 not possible to create manually (without reference)
    {IF in future needed you can always add those in OMJJ again}
    You can cancel material document is through T. Code MBST
    This will fully serve your purpose
