What is the official AIR SDK and FLEX version to release for iOS6 ?

Hi,
Wanted to know which AIR SDK and FLEX version is fully suporting the iOS6 to submit to Apple.
I found that AIR SDK 3.4 is supporting iOS6, though the code created for iOS 6 is not working correctly when build from Flash Builder 4.7 AIR SDK 3.4 FLEX SDK 4.6 .
Thanks

Flex uses Flash a plugin by Adobe.
HTML5 uses HTML and requires no plugin.

  • What are the differences between mac and pc versions of elements 12

I am a Mac user and have been disappointed at some of the limitations of elements 11 on my Mac versus what I understand you can do on a pc. Have these issues been corrected for Mac users in elements 12? Thanks

I have to say that I find it really amusing when people who don't use a specific feature for a software program automatically criticize people who do need and/or use it. I realize that many people have different workflows, and some people use certain features often, whereas other people don't use those features at all. It doesn't mean that the feature should not be in the program. Having said that, I find watched folders to be indispensable for my workflow. In addition to photography, I do a lot of graphic design work. I use Photoshop Elements mainly for organizing all of my image files. I use the full version of Photoshop for most of my photo editing and graphic design work. I build most graphic design projects from the ground up in Photoshop. On the pc, once I initially saved the graphic design file, it would automatically be imported into the organizer for me. Any edits I made to photgraphs and then saved as psd files were also imported automatically into the organizer. As it stands now, I have to remember to (and sometimes hunt around for) any of these files after the fact so that I can import them in to the organizer. With 3 kids running around my house, I am often interrupted while working, and forget to immediately import the files into the organizer. It is a real pain in the neck for me to have to go back and search for files, sometimes weeks after I have created them. I really liked the way it worked on my pc and don't understand why it isn't available on the Mac. Lightroom has a version of the watched folder (though it moves files out of that folder upon import) and a synchronize folders function (though not automatic, and might take a while for a large catalog), both available on the Mac, so I would think that it's not really a Mac limitation. Then again, I'm not a programmer, and I know that something that seems like a small fix to me may require a huge amount of coding to accomplish. I just wish Adobe would tell me if this is NEVER going to happen, so that I can move on and establish a new workflow.

  • What is the difference between SDK and JDK?

Which is better? Are they both free for dowload?
    Thanks.
    Virum

sdk, jdk.. same thing. Whether you call it jdk1.3.1 or j2sdk1.3.1, doesn't matter. It's the standard edition. Free for download.
There are 3 editions, micro (J2ME), standard (J2SE) and enterprise (J2EE).
The microedition is when you develop for small devices like smart cards, mobile phones, etc.
J2SE is what you would most like need, even if you also want to build enterprise applications.
J2EE is mostly for webservers, where you develop JSP, servlets, EJBs etc.

  • What is the diffferencebetween primavera contractor and full version p6?

Can someone tell me the difference between the primavera contractor and P6?
Someone told me they are all the same except that with the contractor you can only do up to 500 activities
    is that the only difference?
    How about file formats etc
Lets say I buy primavera contractor and someone wants a schedule in P6 from me, which tehy will, if I do it with contractor will it be the same file type so they will not notice it if it is less than 500 activities?

    Hi there
The only difference is the amount of time you have to use it before you have to ante up and pay the piper.
Well, there is one other difference. Typically, whatever you create using the trial is pre-configured with an expiration date on the project. That means that if you didn't purchase, the content you created will become unusable until you purchase and publish again with the expiration removed.
    Cheers... Rick

  • What is the difference between Retail and Academic versions of FCP2

I was recently offered an Academic version of FCP(6)2 at a lower price than the retail version. I am tempted to get it but I have heard rumors and read posts that say the Academic version is limited to students and academic learning. Also, there will be no way to update the version when updates become available for FCP7. I would need to purchase the whole suite again. Is this true?
I am not a student and would be using the version for part time income. I just thought a lower price than retail would be a good find. Please let me know.

You are correct. You should be a student or teacher. And you can't upgrade it.

  • Overlaying AIR SDK with Flex SDK

I have noticed in the release notes for every AIR release it says to download Flex SDK 4.5.1 and the latest playerglobal.swc. Is there a reason why I should be downloading that version and not the latest (4.6)?
Also is there anything wrong with overlaying Flex 4.x and the latest AIR SDK if all I'm developing for is AIR applications?

Purchase the standalone upgrade from here: Products

Rob Cole's ExifMeta plugin displays the Subject Distance field (and much more).  Unfortunately, his Web site appears to be down again.  He used to be very active here, but he hasn't posted in several months.

  • Problems with mobile projects with apache flex 4.8 and an overlay of the latest air sdk

Using flash builder 4.7 beta, apache flex 4.8 and an overlay of the latest air sdk, i got resolution problems while testing the mobile app (windows version on windows 7) with the air (ipad)emulator. That means the emulator is much bigger than my screen (logicaly seen the resolution of my screen and also like this in earlier version), but the app is much smaller than the emulator. As I have no design view with apache flex 4.8, I don't know where to start searching. Can anyone give me some input?
    Gert

    Hi Crill,
I don't see any error on creating new projects and running the same.
Where did you get the installer from?
What is the framework linkage type? You can check this in project properties -> flex build path. It should be Merged into code for Apache SDK.
    thanks,
    Sudhir

  • Does the new AIR SDK support iOS 64-bit for Flex Developers?

I saw that the new AIR SDK(December 18, 2014) has supported iOS 64-bit, but it was only supported in the new compiler. See this:
Please note that support for creating universal IPA binaries will only be available in the new compiler. The legacy compiler is not (and will not be)
compatible with iOS 64-bit. Because of this, it will be removed with version 16 of the AIR SDK. To ensure that Adobe as well as third party tools
are able to work with this AIR SDK, the -useLegacyAOT option will continue to exist, but will be internally mapped to the new compiler.
AFAIK, the Flex uses the old compiler and AIR SDK for Flex Developers doesn't include ActionScript 2.0 Compiler. As a Flex developer, what shall I do?

    Hi,
I guess, you might be packaging IPA on windows machine.  Please try latest beta at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html which has iOS64 support on Windows machine as well.
    Thanks

What is the official Apple erro number if the airport hardware on a MacBook Air doesn't work?

    Welcome to the  Discussions
Actually that is not enough information.
Was this to an AIM on PC Buddy ?
If so which version were they using ?
Was it to a Tiger Buddy on iChat ?
The log says it was one on the other and not a Leopard Buddy as there SIP port is listed as port 5061.
Also what routing devices are you using ?
Makes Models and version numbers please.
Which ports do you have open ?
What method did you use ?
In fact read this FAQ even though it was written at the time Tiger came out

  • What are the differences between jdk and sdk

what are the differences between jdk and sdk?? thanks

    Just marketing whims.
    SDK = software development kit
    JDK = Java development kti
Sun has use both names to refer to its SDK for Java. I forget which one they're using now, but they've switched a couple of times.

  • What are the differences between api and sdk

    Hi,
Could anybody clarify for me what are the difference between API and SDK? I googled for the answer, and couldn't find any thing on this topic.
    Many thanks in advance.

Is it correct to say that "a SDK includes all the
APIs"? or "API sits on top of the SDK"?It's a bit weird to say either. First, the JDK doesn't include all APIs. Just the J2SE core API. Others, like 3rd party libraries or J2EE are not included. Second, if you mean the API docs, they're also not included IIRC.
It'd technically only be correct to say "the SDK provides an API", I guess. The example is very lame, but: if the SDK is a machine, the API is the sum of its buttons and levers and gauges and intakes and outlets and exhausts. The API docs are the manual.
