What is the order of deletions when a DVR is full

Sounds like an external hard drive might be something to investigate for your DVR.
Some details at the links below:

  • What is the order of execution of global transfer routine where multiple routines are involved?

    Hi,
Suppose we have start routine, transformation routines and end routine defined between datasource and data target, and also we have a global transfer routine created on an infoobject.
What is the order of execution of routines in this scenerio?
Also if conversion routine like ALPHA is defined for an Infoobject, when does this come into flow.?
    Please enlighten me.
    Thanks,
    Akshara

    Hello Akshara ,
The sequence of routines are as
    1. Start Routine
    2. Master Data Look Up or
    3. Field Level Routine
    4. End Rountine
Apart from this , there is Expert routine, which is used in special cases, when there are not the sufficient functions to perform a transformation. It can be used as a interim solution , and it performs all the  functions of Start routine, end routine , field routine.
Note : if you have created  transformation, and then created Expert routine, then system will delete all the existing transformations.
Further to this, you can explore more, by debug the transformation as suggested by Vijay Kumar.
    Hope this helps !

  • What are the steps in deleting in add remove to install a clean version of itunes/quicktime?

what are the steps in deleting in add remove to install a clean version of itunes/quicktime?
What has to go, in order, like itunes-quicktime-mobile me, or?

There are two part when installing WebEnt.. The first one is the web server part where it installs the fortecgi.exe or other web server components. This should be installed where the web server is going to be running. This is usually not you development server. The second part is the http library and web designer part. This should be installed on the development server. The http library need to go through a install of its own to make it part of the central environment. After that all the developers will have access to the http library and all they will need to do is install the Web desinger part.
    Hope this helps.

  • What is the use of delet set up table in lo **** pit, exactly what happenda

what is the use of delete set up table in lo **** pit, exactly what happened if we do the process, is all tables will lose their data which r available in functional module,
Why i'm asking this, because we assign functional module in LBWG.
    plz .......
    thanx
    vidhu

    HI Vidhu,
Initially we don't delete the setup tables but when we do change in extract structure we go for it. We r changing the extract structure right, that means there are some newly added fields in that which r not before. So to get the required data (i.e.; the data which is required is taken and to avoid redundancy) we delete n then fill the setup tables.
To refresh the statistical data. The extraction set up reads the dataset that you want to process such as, customers orders with the tables like VBAK, VBAP) & fills the relevant communication structure with the data. The data is stored in cluster tables from where it is read when the initialization is run. It is important that during initialization phase, no one generates or modifies application data, at least until the tables can be set up.

  • What does the revert option mean when you hook an ipod touch up to the to itunes

what does the revert option mean when you hook an ipod touch up to the to itunes?

It means you changed some settings for how your iPod interacts with iTunes, you can either click Apply to confirm the changes, or Revert to undo them. This does not delete any content.

  • Does not say "The oldest backups are deleted when your disk becomes full."

I am helping someone set up her backup, but I noticed that in the Time Machine window, there is no line that says: "The oldest backups are deleted when your disk becomes full."
She is running Mac OS 10.5.8, on a 2.66 GHz Quad-Core. Her first backup ran fine, but we're concerned that it will not delete older backups automatically to make space.

It works differently in Leopard and Snow Leopard.
In Leopard, the box is titled +Warn when old backups are deleted,+ and Time Machine will fail with a message when it runs out of room and that box is checked.
On Snow Leopard, the title is +Notify after old backups are deleted,+ and that's what happens -- the old backups are deleted, then you get a notice.
See #C4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).

Unfortunately, POP doesn't do what IMAP does as it does not keep all mail account clients that use it synced - it just transfers mail to whichever account is connected to it at any particular time (with the option of leaving it on the server to be synced to the next client that connects as well).
Does your mail provider not also offer IMAP? The web-based service I use (Fastmail) offers both and, when using IMAP, this also has the advantage of leaving all the mail on the server as well so I can access it from any PC with an internet connection if I am not at home or don't have my iPhone (or don't want to use costly data services when abroad).
Fastmail also allow you to change the "From" address so I can use my own domain address and just tell my domain host to forward to my Fastmail address. They also allow you to buy as much or as little server space as you like and are very cheap. You might like to take a look at www.fastmail.fm.

    Uncadon,
Sounds like a Gmail archive icon. "When you archive a message, it moves to the All Mail folder. It does not delete it from the Gmail account. Archive replaces all delete options when using a Gmail account, including using the Trash icon while viewing a message and selecting Edit to manage multiple messages. You can disable this feature in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Gmail Account > Archive Messages:"

I have an iPod 5thGen 30 GB. My tracks on my playlists are rarely in the correct order on the iPod, tho the order is correct when viewed on iTunes. Is there anything I can do?

It goes by the Track # field, as seen in on a list in iTunes.  So, make sure the Track # field is correctly entered for each song when you review the album on a list in iTunes.  Also, make sure the Album field is entered identically for all the songs on the album.
You can edit those fields by doing a Get Info on a song, and going to the Info windows's Info tab,

  • Is it all the data on the iphone is deleted when iphone is in Recovery Mode?

is it all the data on the iphone from the past is deleted when iphone is in Recovery Mode? or is there anyway i can manage the data from the past when my iphone is in Recovery Mode?  or is it when my iphone is in Recovery Mode, all the data from the past is clear and its all fresh disk like the new iphone? is there anyway i can still acess the old data on iphone in recovery mode?

Depends. There is no supported method, from Apple, to exit recovery mode, other than restoring your phone. That, of course, means that all data on your phone gets erased. There are third-party utilities, like RecBoot, that claim to be able to get an iPhone in/out of recovery mode with the push of a button. You can search for these yourself.

  • What is the default staging mode when it is: (not specified) ?

    Hi All,
What is the default staging mode when none is specified?
As per docs, there are three: stage, no stage and external stage
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/deployment/SetAServerStagingMode.html
    Many thanks.
    Running Weblogic 10.3.5.0 on OEL.

"stage" directory means that the EAR file will be temporarily copied to that location and will be used only when the application source directory is not available OR when the administration server is down.
It is like a local copy of the source directory for your application.
Sometimes, during restart/redeployment, the managed server could pick the application files from the stage directory.
But, in general if you use the "Update" option in "Deployment", the files in the stage directory are replaced by the files from the "source" directory.
What I suspect here is in PROD, if you might have any permission issues with the stage directory?
Can you please check that the stage directory is owned by the user running the server process AND that the directory permissions is set to 755. And not only directory the files also should inherit the same ownership and permissions.
That is the only thing I can suspect.
    Arun
