What is the pin out for your PXI-2503?

Hello,
I have purchased a PXI-2503 analog switch, and I have been unable to find the pinouts for this device anywhere. I have connecting directly from the PXI-2503 into my board.

Hi Champ065,
If you have the NI-Switch drivers installed, then you can go to the NI-Switches Help.  This can be found by clicking Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> NI-SWITCH >> Documentation >> NI-Switches Help.  When you open this up, navigate to NI Switches Help >> Devices >> NI PXI-2501/2503.  From there, select your topology and you can see the pinouts on the right.
Please let me know if you have any problems finding this.
Thank You,
Nick F.

    Suresh,
Since the SCB-100 is a terminal block, its pin out is dictated by the DAQ device to which it is cabled. Thus, the pin out is available in the user manual for the appropriate DAQ device. Below, I have included a link to the location where the user manuals are available:

    Good luck with your application.

  • What is the Pin Code for unlock for Macbook Air System Lock ?

What is the Pin Code for unlock for Macbook Air System Lock ?

It usually means that the  owner of the device sent a directive through icloud(find my mac), to lock the device because it has been stolen.
The only means to unlock the device is to have Apple (Apple Store) unlock it for the owner. If you are the owner, be prepared to show proof of legitimate ownership. It is likely that Apple will want to contact the registered owner to make sure that the device has been legitmately transferred.
I'm really thinking you may have bought stolen property. Ask the seller why it is locked, and if the device is registered to him/her, to release the registration on Apple's website. Only then, will you be able to re-register the device in YOUR name.

  • Where can I find the pin-outs for 8-pin remote Hirose connector?

Where can I find the pin-outs for 8-pin remote Hirose connector?

Pin outs and wiring info is all in the Maintenance Manuals (same for all system cameras, F series, XDCAM etc.), - ask your local Sony Office if you want the info. The 8pin remote is for connection to the Sony RM-B150/170/750 remote control panels. For system cameras the same protocol is used between RCP panels, MSU, CCUs and camera heads. It is a proprietry system so extremely difficult to hack! The RM-B170 is the ideal panel to work with the PMW-F5/55. It will give basic painting control of R/B white & black painting, Master Pedestal, and Iris with the correct lens (Cabrio etc). It can also control remote Rec stop start.Regards, Clive. Sony ANZ.

  • What is the pin-out of the 4-pin audio connector

My brand new T440p has a single audio connector for both headset + microphone, similar to recent iphones and android phones.  But although all use a 4-rings 3.5mm jack plug it seems that the signaling differs. So my question is:
    Version1:
    Tip: left audio
    Ring1: right audio
    Ring2: microphone
    Sleeve: ground
    Version2:
    Tip: left audio
    Ring1: right audio
    Ring2: ground
    Sleeve: microphone
Which of the above version is the Lenovo T440p using?  This determines what kind of headset or y-adapter you can use with the laptop.

    Hi,
You'll find the pin out of the 6220 in the M Series Help (User Manual). Just download the ZIP File from this webpage (http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/webAdvsearch/DD0F3F9A89B8A84886256EE6006D520D?OpenDocument&vid=niwc&node=132100_US) and open the M Series Help.

  • What is the pin map for chip select on LM3S8962 for "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" ? (0 through n)

    Hello All,
When the LM3S8962 is the master, what pin is used when chip
select is the default (0), or another value ?
Despite this question being asked a few ways in the forums,
NI's "ARM SPI Create Configuration Reference.vi" documentation
    for chip select is unclear.
TI's manual is no help for NI's implementation of chip select.
NI's help for the above subvi seems not only too generic (perhaps
written for the SDK ?),  but erroneous in that it reads:
"chip select specifies the chip select line to assert during the
SPI transfer. The chip select line must connect to the EEPROM
    on the
microcontroller. Refer to the documentation for the SPI
    device for information
    about chip select lines."
This is useless as the ARM microcontroller has no EEPROM and
the SPI slave device documentation only covers its own pins.
The hope is to have more than one slave on the LM3S8962's single SPI bus,
without chewing up a additional pin using elemental I/O like the splendid forum
examples for ADC's and DAC's.  This would save diagram real estate compared
with two sequence frames that are typically shown toggling a elemental I/O digital
output before and after writing and/or reading from the slave.   It also would clarify
what on chip resource trade offs there are for each chip select number chosen.
(as most pins have multiple possible functions)
Thanks in advance for any light on this.   Please don't post info on other processors
to this thread as this taints future searches on this issue with this tier 1 target.
    Best,
    Davy

    Hi Davy,
While doing research on this question, I was informed that you have been working with a colleague of mine, Joel, via email for this same question. So that we do not have multiple engineers working on the same issue, Joel will be your point of contact for this issue. I ask that when you have come to a resolution, that you post that resolution here so that other customers can reference this information.
    Thanks!

  • What is the device_type_number for a PXI-4472B?

    What is the device_type_number for a PXI-4472B?

I mispoke on device_type_number as the variable is labeled as device_type_code, if memory serves correctly, in your older NIDAQ examples. It is the parameter found by using:
    Get_DAQ_Device_Info (iDevice,ND_DEVICE_TYPE_CODE,&device_type_code);
where iDevice is the device number set in MAX. For example, this number for a PCI-6052 = 273 and for a PXI-4472 = 335. Does the PXI-4472B have the same device type code as the PXI-4472 or is it different?

  • What's the best format for your harddrive

I'm formating my external drive to use as my primary scatch disk for use with only a Mac not PC and wondered what the differences are between the foramts? For example is Mac OS extended better or worse that Mac Os extended (journaled) I'm a tad confused.
    Much Thanks, Mungo

A Journaled disk has a file on it which records changes made to the Mac OS X System folder
This is not entirely true. Journaling is a technique that helps protect the integrity of any and all data on a disk. When you enable journaling, a continuous record of changes to all files on the disk is maintained in the journal. If your computer stops because of a power failure or some other issue, the journal is then used to restore the disk to a known-good state when the system is restarted
Why then would you ever not want journaling turned on? Well, with video applications you are usually eking out the absolute maximum performance of your storage system, and in simple terms, writing to the journal means your system is not writing video data ... so you are not getting that maximum performance. The hit is not really significant for most situations, but where data access is really is key then switching off journaling may be worth it.
journalling is not able to recover a video file for example, that was accidentally erased.
heck no, but it can prevent corruption of existing data if and when the drive access is unexpectedly interupted.
if anyone is really interested you can check out the nitty gritty of Apple's journaled file system implementation in their tech note document at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2355

  • What is the backup strategy for your rpool?

    Hi all,
May I know what is your backup strategy for rpool? like how to integrate with the netbackup or any other backup software
Is it using zfs send a data stream to a file and backup that file using backup software??
Aside the above method, can we also use the UFS method?
backup software to backup entire / /var..........  etc....
         1. re install the OS
         2. install the backup client
         3. create a zpool (rpool-restore)  using a 2nd disk,
         4. mount the new zpool  (rpool-restore) to /restore
         5. restore all the file in  /restore
         6. install boot blk,
         7. boot from 2nd disk
    Any more idea?

According to the Flash Archives limitation stated in Oracle website, if the OS is with a child zone, it will not work right?
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/821-0436/6nlg6fi8u/index.html
I am thinking that using the traditional way to do it.
Use a backup software, for example, networker, TSM, netbackup.. to back up the following:
    /rpool
    /export/
    /export/home
         1. re install the OS
         2. install the backup client
         3. create a zpool (rpool-restore)  using a 2nd disk,
         4. mount the new zpool  (rpool-restore) to /restore
         5. restore all the file in  /restore
         6. install boot blk,
         7. boot from 2nd disk
    will it still works?

  • How to find out what is the lock key for the computer

How to find out what is the lock key for the computer?

    You don't.
If you forgot or lost the password, all you can practically do is reset it.
The manner in which you do so depends on what version of OS X you are running. The older versions utilize the reset password utility on your recovery/re-installation disk/drive.
On Lion, you use the following technique to reset the Administrators password:
Boot to your Lion Recovery Partition, by holding down the Option key while starting, and then selecting the Recovery HD as the boot choice.
Once booted, at the top of the screen is a menu ..., select Utilities / Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window will open. Select your boot volume (your SSD drive) if it is not already selected. Select your administrators username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if it is not already selected. Follow the prompts to reset the password. Restart the computer from the apple menu.

  • How to find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job Codes

    HI All,
I just wanted to know how do we find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job codes .
    Thanks In Advance

    Hi,
Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV )  - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP  = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ,  ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose,  Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
    (number for query run)
    Create a condition , for top 20.
    Hope this helps.

  • What's the best out-of-the-box web interface for a SQL DB?

I'm developing a Java web application that will be backed by an Oracle database. Users would like a simple web interface that allows them to accomplish what they could with SQL queries without knowing SQL. The basic operations would be:
    * displaying a database table in a table format
    * downloading the table as a text or Excel file
    * customizing the columns in a table display
    * displaying a query result set in a table format
    * constructing a query using drop-down menus
I'd probably want to program in a simplified UI for a few common queries.
This really looks like functionality someone should have invented before me. Question: what is the right tool for me to be using? I'm surprised I haven't found something by searching.
It looks like I could just directly write JSP, but I think something else might be simpler. I think related functionality exists in Spring, but I didn't find exactly what I'm looking for, and Spring brings a lot of other stuff also. Nothing in my application is more complicated than this, so I'd be happy to keep things simple.
    How would you write this?

    About Application Express
Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX), formerly called HTML DB, is a fully supported "no-cost" option of the Oracle Database. Oracle Application Express is certified against all editions of the Oracle Database 10.2.0.3 and above, including Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (Oracle XE).
Oracle Application Express installs as part of the seed database installation with Oracle Database 11g.

    Browser Based
Using only a Web browser and limited programming experience you can develop data centric applications in minutes. Browser-based development enables you to develop applications on most computers using only a modern Web browser.
    Rapid Application Development (RAD)
Use simple wizards and declarative programming to create powerful reporting and data entry applications. You can create applications from spreadsheet uploads, or on existing database tables and views. Oracle Application Express includes SQL Workshop to create and manage the database objects that support your application.
    Application Express Components
    Application Builder - Database Applications
Application developers use wizards to declaratively assemble applications organized in pages. Page content is organized into regions. Regions can contain text, custom PL/SQL, reports, charts, maps, calendars, web service references or forms. Forms are made up of fields (called items) which can be selected from the multitude of built-in types (such as text fields, text areas, radio groups, select lists, check boxes, date pickers, and popup list of values) or a developer can create their own types using plug-in support. Table update functionality is built-in and PL/SQL can be used to process data. Session state (or application context) is transparently managed and the user interface presentation is separated from the application logic so that the look and feel of an application can be changed simply by selected a different theme.
    Application Builder - Websheets
Using Websheet Applications, end users can manage structured and unstructured data without developer assistance. Page sections contain unstructured data and are edited using a WYSIWYG editor. Reports provide access to database data by writing SQL. Data Grids can manage structured data without writing SQL. Adding columns, renaming column, and validations are defined using runtime dialogs. Each page and row of data grid data can be annotated with files, tags, notes, and links. Pages can contain sections as well as reports and data grids and all can be linked together providing navigation. All information is searchable and completely controlled by the end-user.
    SQL Workshop
The SQL Workshop provides tools that enable you to view and manage database objects. Object Browser enables you to use a tree control to view object properties and create new objects. The SQL Command tool enables you to enter ad-hoc SQL. Query Builder enables you to create join queries using drag and drop. SQL Scripts enables you to store and run scripts. The Data Workshop enables you to load and unload text, DML, and spreadsheet data.
    RESTful Services
RESTful Services allow for the declarative specification of RESTful services mapped to SQL and PL/SQL.
    Team Development
Team Development helps manage the life-cycle of an application's development. It provides tracking and management of application features, to do entries, bugs, and end user feedback. Team Development is tightly integrated with the Oracle Application Express Application Builder. For example, edit page lists open feedback, bugs, and to do's.
    Administration
Each Oracle Application Express workspace is a separate application development environment that is fully insulated from other workspaces. The administration component provides workspace management, including services (available schemas, space requests, and preferences), users (both developers and end-users), and workspace activity (page views, login attempts, and developer activity). Access is limited to Oracle Application Express developers who have workspace administration privileges.
