The default font remains Myriad Pro until you change it, either in the RGB/CMYK Startup files or in the preferences, options depending on versions.
Concerning missing font names, I believe this may solve it:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

It's worth noting that if your Gmail has been hacked, it would likely have nothing to do with your MacBook. Hacking web based email is fairly common and it doesn't require any access to your machine whatsoever. In the same way that you can simply go to the Gmail webpage through any browser, any hacker can use the same method. It doesn't mean your machine has been compromised in any way (and it has likely not been). I have never received an email from Google of this nature. I have received notifications when someone has attempted to create an account with my name in which they basically say that there is no action required if you're the rightful owner.

I have the problem with my iPhone and my friends have this problem too.
My iPhone have the problem about calling and answer the call. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Please check these problem I restored my iPhone for 4 time now in this week. I lived in Hatyai, Songkhla,Thailand and many people in my city have this problem.

The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

My iPad has stopped rotating, I've reset all settings and reset my iPad with no change, how do I fix this problem please?
You may want to try this:
1. Backup iPad
2. Setup iPad as new. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
3. Test iPad thoroughly
4. If everything is fine, restore backup to iPad -

If it is grey and/or won't allow you to slide it to the on position, follow these steps... More than likely you will need to get it serviced.
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, see how to resolve those Wi-Fi issues. -
Problem with fonts changing on acrobat reader
I'm exporting a document from Pages to PDF and have received a report from one viewer that the fonts are changing sizes erratically when viewed on a PC. no other complaints but want the document to look nice for all viewers. Advice?
Perhaps you haven't installed all the nice ttf fonts, like ttf-bitstream-vera and so on.

Problem with speed change in Twixtor Pro
Using Twixtor 5.0 and After Effects CS6, and I'm struggling with a situation where keyframing the Speed% change causes the slow frames to freeze for several frames at a time.
What works:
Drop clip into new comp
Enable Time-remaping, and extend the length of the comp to a good minute or so longer than source clip
Add Twixtor Pro to clip layer (appears to behave the same if you drop this comp into another clip and apply to that)
Set frame rate to match comp's (and clips)
Set speed% to something low, like 5.
Clip plays back nice and smooth and slow, every frame is interpolated.
What doesn't work:
Repeat above steps... up to 5
Set a keyframe for speed% to 1000
Advance playhead ahead a second, set another keyframe to maintain speed
Move several frames, set keyframe for speed% to 5
When I playback the clip, after the last speed change, instead of nice smooth motion, I get a still frame, then several identical frames, then it jumps again to the next incremental frame, and so on – with NO smooth interpolated frames. The result, as you can guess, is quite jerky.
If you trash all the keyframes and just leave the speed change to 5, it plays totally smooth. Which is just great, except for the fact I want to actually animate it.
Has anyone encountered this?
In the meantime as a backup, I'm using Timewarp, but I would love to sort this out.Hi Rick, I appreciate your persistence to help. That's definitely another way to use the plugin which I've never used in the past, but does eliminate the need to enable time-remapping. Certainly not as common as the majority of the tutorials out there, including Re:Vision's own.
For the sake of argument I tried this approach, but unfortunately the problem persists. Out of curiosity, were there specific problems you avoided by using the solid method vs applying directly to the footage?
If I can dig up my serial numbers I will install the CS6 update as instructed. I'll definitely update this post if I get any positive results.

What's the matter with my LED??? Is this a defect or not???
While I watch a movie with my MBP 13", I noticed that there were some white band or stripe almost in the middle of my screen. At first, I think they were my fingerprint. I turned my computer off and cleaned LED screen. However, when I turned it on and opened black picture in full screen, they were still in the same place. When I looked at them closely, there are inside the screen!!!
In my town where I live (Columbia, MO), there are no apple retail store. Thus, it would be very helpful for me if someone could help me solve this problem or at least I wish I could know what the problem is.
Thank you in advance ^^We've seen a few other reports here of pale marks on MBP displays similar to yours — in fact yours is only a partial version of some of the others. The full version is a rough circle 2" to 2.5" in diameter in the center of the display with a horizontal line passing across it from one side to the other, the line being near the top of the circle and spanning about half the width of the screen in all. What appears on your screen is part of the right side of the circle plus part of the right half of the line.
An explanation offered by Apple personnel to at least one of the previous posters was that the mark is caused by pressure on the back of the LCD panel — probably by the placing of excessive weight or pressure on the closed display during transport, as (for example) when carrying the MBP in a shoulder bag or backpack along with a load of books, and perhaps setting the bag down with the books on top of the MBP. Or having the MBP on the inside of a load in a backpack, with its display side pulled or pressed tightly against the wearer's back. Does it seem possible that your MBP might have been exposed to pressure in the center of its display back panel, where the Apple logo is? If so, then that may be the cause of your problem.
I would take it to an Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and see what they say about it.
Afterthought: I should add that I don't think there have been any reports here of such marks on a brand-new screen — all the machines in question had been used for some length of time before the marks were noticed.

It appears you are using the free version of the Display Menu app.
What does the Apple Display properties show? System Preferences>Displays>Display show?
Look at the projector/go to the manufacturer's support site and find the native resolution of the projector.

Loaded atv 4.2.2 problem with netflix login. Has anyone solved this problem?
Cannot login to Netflix on Apple TV after the 4.2.2 update. Ihave done a restore, unplugged and restarted, called netflix and they changed password. Was able to login to Netflix on Mac Air. Netflix says call apple.
I am also having this, and I am 4.4.3. I'm guessing it's a problem with the Netflix app and how it send the password. It seems that only passwords containing all numbers work, but I would like to have a more secure password protecting my Netflix account.

Problem with font changes making video unrenderable
Hi- I hope someone can give me some advice. I have been creating different language versions of a video and until now I merely duplicated the original sequence and then changed the individual titles to create a new language version ( there is no narration - only text). Now for some reason, whenever I try to change the text, it make the corresponding video unrendered. The title appears but the video disappears- and cannot be rendered.
I have completed about six different versions without problems, but now I can't make further changes on the video.
Grateful to anyone who can give me some advice.

L O Fostercannot be rendered...that's odd. But becoming unrendered is standard. When you render the text on top of the video it makes one renderd file out of the two layers, If you change one of the layers, then the rendered file is no longer current and it has to make a newly rendered file with the current settings (in this case the altered text.) It's no different than if you were to change a setting on a filter, even one tiny notch, or change the duration of a transition. If you want to limit the amount of the render, cut the bottom clip at the beginning of the text clip and the end and it will only need to re-render the area overlapped by the text.

Can anyone help me with getting the settings right and what is the best computer to use to allow FMLE not to crash and stream to run smooth?

I would be interested in helping you with your question. You are going to need to provide a little more information about your current configuration in order for me to better understand your issue. Until then, I'll do my best to answer your quesitons.
There are subtle changes from 3.1 to 3.2. Both are stable releases. With your setup, you should be using 3.2.
Issues with FMLE typically deal with your capture card. The issues you are having sound like a streaming server issue. Stream delayed 20min? This isn't typical behavior. What streaming media server are you usign? FMS or Wowza? Define 'crashing'. Anything in the output log in FMLE or is your server 'crashing'.

I'm trying to connect to my home wifi with my imac gh5. After I enter the password it says connection timeout or password incorrect. I know there's no issue with the connection but I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
