What is the Program Reporting in the Project template structure?!

Dear All,
I have a question regarding the program reporting that in the Project Structure what it's used for. In addition i have a question about the two check-boxes under the program reporting what it's used for also:-
a) Setup Project as a program.
b)Allow linked project to belong to multiple program.

Here's a quick overview on Program reporting:
A program is a collection of projects linked in a hierarchical fashion. The Oracle Projects program management functionality enables you to create a program by linking multiple
projects (and programs) to form a program hierarchy.
Programs enable you to view and manage workplan and financial information for a group of projects. This capability provides you with benefits that are not available when
you manage each project individually. With programs, you can specify how multiple projects are interrelated within a program and review interrelated project information
as a whole. You can track and report on rolled-up planned, actual, and forecasted effort, cost, and revenue, as well as progress and schedule information for all projects in the
program hierarchy.
Therefore, as a program manager, you have a strategic focus on the overall program, rather than a tactical project-centric focus.
The linking of projects within a program follows a top-down approach. If you have the appropriate security privileges, then you can navigate to and drill down into the individual linked projects within the program hierarchy.
To enable program reporting you have to select the 'Setup Project as a Program' button on your project. Also you can allow one project to be part of one or many programs, so the second check box "Allow linked project to belong to multiple program" controls that feature.

two things to try: either click the green "zoom" bottom at the topLeft of the window in the title bar, or go to your System Prefs and then Displays, and increase the resolution that is used

U can take help of some ABAPER.............
Actually..........a vriant is something like a specific selections............for an example...... if you have a report instead doing the selections all the time.. you save the selection as variant............it reduces time..........errors in input...........you can schedule a background job only using variants........
Generally..........we create a JOb in SM36.........as already said............there the job is created using the program and the variant..............while executing the job...........this program get executed.........

What are you setting it up as.. join wireless network .. the very worst setup, it will disappear.. reboot the whole network in order modem. router TC.. clients and it will likely reappear.
Tell us what network setup you are using..
If you setup with cable to a computer completely isolated from the network with TC also isolated.. finish the setup of everything you want. .before update.. then plug it into the network. .then restart everything in correct order.. it will work most of the time.

There was a problem sending the command to the program when opening Microsoft Project 2010 files

When opening MS Project 2010 files from the file and print server, I receive "There was a problem sending the command to the program." Copy the same file to my local drive and the file opens fine. This can be repeated by several other
users. Created a simple project file and once the size hit 1 MB, the error appeared. The error appears on all files over 1 MB.
I am a domain admin, so it is not a rights issue. This does not seem to be a network latency issue, the file copies extremely fast.
Any ideas?

This message appears to be caused by Windows Explorer trying to send old-fashioned DDE messages to the Application.
Since MS Project has no "Ignore DDE messages" setting you might want to go change the compatibility settings for WinProj.EXE (and any shortcut to it) to Windows 7 or greater. Hopefully then Windows Explorer will stop trying to send DDE messages.
Another possible culprit is older versions of the WinZip explorer extensions - I would disable them as well.

you will have the most up to date itunes available for your os 10.6.8. to get a newer version you will have to upgrade to a newer os.

Triggering events manually ...
Events let you start background jobs when particular changes in the R/3 System take place. When an event occurs, the background processing system starts all jobs that were scheduled to wait for that event.
example : JOB_OPEN to create a background job..
When scheduling a background job, you can specify it to start "after event".
If you do so, you'll have to create an event in SM62.
If a job is scheduled after event event and you trigger the event with SM64, the job will start.
Events can be raised by external systems in SAP by sending a command to a SAP application server. You can also raise event in any program using function mosule BP_EVENT_RAISE.

Yes I remove everything. I also have purchased the program and because I had this problem with the purchased DVD
I downloaded the program thinking the purchased DVD was at fault but as I obtain the same result with both, there must be
something wrong with my computer set up or it might be OSX 10.6.1 that is the problem! I will have to wait till monday.

So I formatted a brand new hard drive to MAC OS (Journal), I then could save on the hard drive. Not two days later Im back at square one, the program wont recognize the hard drive again.

So, hard to beleive, but I am having some trouble with Final Cut Pro X.

I saved my project on there and copied a few others over as to free up space on my Laptop.
Then, not two days later Im back at square one,
the program wont recognize the hard drive.
It wont even open the events up off my hard drive,
as to jog the program into reqcognizing the scratch disk (which worked twice before).
What happened?
How do I get the program to re-recongize my newly formatted hard drive?

The name of the drive, or the name of some folders inside the drive, may fool FCP X into believing it is a camera.
Also, you should not use the drive for time machine backups.

What OS are you on?
If Windows, do you have Apple's QT Pro (US $39 upgrade/unlock)? If so, then you can use it to Export to several formats/CODEC's, that PrPro can use.

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.

Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error.

You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers.
