What is the reason to move LACP protocol from 802.3ad to 802.1ax

From the wikipedia, it gives the following reason
Move to 802.1 layer in 2008[edit]
David Law noted in 2006 that certain 802.1 layers (such as 802.1X security) were positioned in the protocol stack above Link Aggregation which was defined as an 802.3sublayer.[5] This discrepancy was resolved with formal transfer of the protocol to the 802.1 group with the publication of IEEE 802.1AX-2008 on 3 November 2008.[6]
I not so sure about the description above, if LACP belongs to 802.3 working group, 802.1x above the 802.3 stack, so it can treat the LAG ports as one port to do the access control,  what's wrong with my description? It seems the 802.1x should stand below LACP from the wiki description, can someone explain why the relationship between them should like that?

Hi AP,
Do you mean that .... "Therefore, the user who run KB21N, should be aware of total cost initially available in cost center 4100 ... "
If the cost in cost center 4100 is less than $400, using KB21N to move cost more than $400 is not logic, right?
Comment please.

You have to configure Gmail to allow access to less secure apps. Thunderbird uses the IMAP-protocol, but Google thinks it isn't safe enough.
Go to your browser and login to Gmail. Now click on your profile picture and click Account. Go to the Security tab and click on Settings for Access for less secure apps under Account Permissions. Enable it and Thunderbird should have access to your email...
BTW This is totally safe. There's no need to scratch behind your ear about changing this setting

  • What is the differences between T=0 protocol and T=1 protocol?..

    Hi friends..
Sorry, i want to know what is the differences between T=0 protocol and T=1 protocol?..
Which one is the best, Java Card that support for T=0 protocol and Java Card that support for T=1 protocol?..
    Thanks in advance..

    Sebastien_Lorquet wrote:
Such protocols have NOTHING TO DO with javacard. They have been existing for YEARS before javacard was invented.
It's just a mean to exchange data with any card. It happens to be a standard, so javacards among others use it to communicate with the host.
the Javacard spec by itself does not know anything about how the APDUs are exchanged . It can be T=0, T=1, T=14, RS-232, GPIB, USB, ISO14443, Felica, Ethernet, Firewire, a satellite link, a deep space link, or anything you want. The comm part is the responsibility of the card operating system, which is out of scope for the javacard machine that lies onto it.
Just because you have a convenience method in the APDU class does not mean this is real. It's up to the card / os manufacturer to define these things, it's reasonable to think they are accurate, but I can create a javacard that claims to be contactless and still will use T=0. That's arbitrary. This is not exactly true. For APDU response chaining to work on some T=0 cards (when using smartcardio that handles response chaining for the developer) we had to use some special tricks. It can also be handy to only allow certain actions on the contact interface (such as admin actions etc) to prevent unauthorised access. The [PLAID Applet|https://www.govdex.gov.au/confluence/display/PLAID/Home;jsessionid=9B9EC664A01EC13B098DDF4EE5760A0A] (developed by the Australian fegral government agency Centerlink) only allows the card to be initiliased through the contact interface.
    - T=0 requires a GET RESPONSE additional exchange only for case 4 commands or when the command provides more bytes than requested for an outgoing command. It can also require more than two exchanges if the terminal requests the outgoing data per-block.Don't forget case 2. The GET RESPONSE is at TAPDU layer and is handled internally by smartcardio/PCSC etc and is also handled by the smartcard OS.
Leonardo, if you want to know the differences between the two, I recommend reading ISO7816-3.

  • What is the difference between MOVE and WRITE TO ststement?

    Hi
What is the difference between MOVE and WRITE TO ststement?
When do we use both of them?
    Thank You

    Hi,
    <b>MOVE</b>
    Syntax
    MOVE source {TO|?TO} destination.
    destination {=|?=} source.
    Effect
Both these statements assign the content of the operand source to the data object destination. The variants with the language element TO or the assignment operator = are valid for all assignments between operands that are not reference variables, and for assignments between reference variables for which the static type of source is more specific than or the same as the static type of destination(narrowing cast).
Variants with the language element ?TO or the assignment operator ?= (casting operator ) must be used if the source and destination are reference variables and the static type of source is more general than the static type of destination (widening cast). For assignments between operands that are not reference variables, use of the question mark ? is not permitted.
The data object destination can be any data object that can be listed at a write position, and the data object source can be a data object, a predefined function or a functional method (as of release 6.10). The data type of the data object destination must either be compatible with the data type of source, or it must be possible to convert the content of source into the data type of destination according to one of the conversion rules.
    Notes
If source and/or destination are field symbols, then, as in all ABAP commands, the system works with the content of the data objects to which the field symbols point. The actual pointer content of a field symbol can only be changed using the statement ASSIGN or the addition ASSIGNING when processing internal tables (value semantics). If source and destination are reference variables, the reference contained in source is assigned to destination (reference semantics).
Strings and internal tables are addressed internally using references. When assignments are made between strings and between internal tables (as of release 6.10), only the reference is transferred, for performance reasons. After the assignment, the actual string or the actual table body of the source as well as the target object are addressed (sharing). When the object is accessed to change it, the sharing is canceled and a copy of the content is made. The sharing is displayed in the memory consumption display of the ABAP debugger and in the Memory Inspector tool (as of release 6.20).
    Obsolete Form: MOVE PERCENTAGE

    <b>Write</b>
    Syntax Diagram
    WRITE - TO
    Syntax
    WRITE {source|(source_name)} TO destination
                                 [int_format_options].
    Effect:
This statement assigns the formatted content of the data object source, or the formatted content of the data object whose name is contained in source_name, to the data object destination. The data objects source_name and destination must be character type and flat. source_name can contain the name of the data object to be assigned in upper or lower case. If the data object specified in source_name does not exist, the assignment is not executed, and sy-subrc is set to 4.
The statement WRITE TO has the same effect as the statement WRITE for lists. This statement formats the content of source or the source field specified in source_name as described in the field. It does not, however, store the result in an output area of a list in the list buffer, but instead stores it in a variable. The output length is determined by the length of the variable.
The same additions int_format_options can be specified for formatting the content as in the statement WRITE for lists, except for NO-GAP and UNDER.
    System fields
    sy-subrc Meaning
0 The data object specified in source_name was found and the assignment was executed.
4 The data object specified in source_name was not found and the assignment was not executed.
For the static specification of source, sy-subrc is not set.
    Note:
If destination is specified as an untyped field symbol or an untyped formal parameter, and is not flat and character-type when the statement is executed, this leads to an untreatable exception in a Unicode program. In non-Unicode programs, this only leads to an exception for deep types. Flat types are handled as character-type data types.
    Example:
After the assignment, the variables date_short and date_long receive the current date in the order specified in the user master record. The variable date_long also contains the defined separators, as the output length is sufficiently long. The content of the variable date_mask is formatted according to the formatting addition DD/MM/YY.
    DATA: date_short(8) TYPE c,
          date_long(10) TYPE c,
          date_mask(8)  TYPE c.
    WRITE sy-datum TO: date_short,
                       date_long,
                       date_mask DD/MM/YY.
    Exceptions
    Non-Catchable Exceptions
Cause: Negative length specified for offset/length
    Runtime Error: WRITE_TO_LENGTH_NEGATIVE
Cause: Negative offset specified in offset/length
    Runtime Error: WRITE_TO_OFFSET_NEGATIVE
Cause: Offset specified in offset/length specification is longer than the field length.
    Runtime Error: WRITE_TO_OFFSET_TOOLARGE
    Thanks

add an entry in on both the nodes /etc/sysconfig/network DEFAULT_GATEWAY
    eg:-
    [oracle@rac1 ~]$ cat /etc/sysconfig/network
    NETWORKING=yes
    HOSTNAME=rac1.localdomain

Please use a shorter title in your subject line and not post the entire question in therre.  (See the subject line I created.)   There is also no such word as "datas".  Data is already plural.
Please read http://stackoverflow.com/help/how-to-ask.  Your question is hard to read because you aren't using proper punctuation and capitalization of your sentences.  It looks like one run-on sentence.
Beyond that, it is impossible to help you solve our problem with just your question.  Please provide some more information.  Perhaps even attach code we can look at.  Show us what the data you are sending is supposed to look like, and what it actually looks like.

Based on your description, you are having a kernel panic.
Can you post some of your crash logs? Might be a clue. See Mac OS X: How to log a kernel panic http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2546
Understanding crash logs isn’t easy and it’s hard (sometimes impossible) to decipher the cause of the problem. Take a look at Apple’s Crash Reporter document at http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2004/tn2123.html Also look at Tutorial: An introduction to reading Mac OS X crash reports

Kernel panics are usually caused by a hardware problem – frequently RAM, a USB device or a Firewire device. What external devices do you have connected? When trying to troubleshoot problems, disconnect all external devices except your monitor, keyboard and mouse. Do you experience the same problems?
To eliminate RAM being the problem, Look at this link: Testing RAM @ http://guides.macrumors.com/Testing_RAM Then download & use Memtest & Ramber.
Do you have an Apple Hardware Test disc (the AHT is on the Install/Restore DVD that came with your Mac)? Running the Apple Hardware Test in Loop Mode is an excellent troubleshooting step for finding intermittent hardware problems. It is especially useful when troubleshooting intermittent kernel panics. If Loop Mode is supported by the version of the Apple Hardware Test you are using, you run the Extended Test in Loop Mode by pressing Control-L before starting the test. Looping On should appear in the right window. Then click the Extended Test button. The test will run continuously until a problem is found. If a problem is found, the test will cease to loop, indicating the problem it found. If the test fails, be sure to write down the exact message associated with the failure. In some cases, RAM problems did not show up until nearly 40 loops, so give it a good run.
May be a solution on one of these links.

  • Grafhic not work...  what is the reason ?

    hello,
In the foolowing code I reproduced an "anomalous" behavior that I get when I use graphic functions.
In the JPanel "PanelToDiplayGraphic", I simply write some words....
    This usually works;
but if I (before to create the panel) read some data from a database, then the words are not displayed...._
(I need to get informations from the database to use in the grafhic functions).
I am not able to understand the reason why this can happen .
Same one is able to explain me what is the reason ???
// To use this program requires to have a valid connection to a database.
// Here the connection comes from MakeConnectionToDataBaseMedident class and his the getConnection() function.
// Of course, the String sqlStr in the accessToDataBase() function have to be properly changed too...

    thank you Encefophalopathic...
The window seem to be normal (not froze), but I understand now that the cause of the anomaly could
came from the parallelism of the threads ....
    I'll look in this way...
    Thank you
By the course... I remember you gave me an advice some days ago ..
    you said :
Finally, don't add a mouse listener to a JButton when an action listener,
a class specifically built to capture button presses, is available.
There are exceptions to this rule, but I don't see any here. I didn't answer then, but I should like know where I could learn more about how and where to use the listener class...
I see this tip is more complex than it seemed to be...
Now, for example, I need to catch event when an element in a checkBox is selected..
I use event listner for this purpouse, but in this way I get the attivation of the event also
when the comboBox component is created...
How I sayd, I only should like to have a good link to read more about..
    thank you again
    regards

I was able to see app updates in my appstore but now suddenly there are no updates available what is the reason?

Hello, I have the same problem but 2 days ago I switched from an iPhone 4 to a 5 so I don't know if is a general issue or related from my iPhone upgrade.
I know I have some apps to update but EVERYWHERE (iPad store, iPhone and iMac) it says "no app updates available".
Please reply me if you got any fix!

  • Does anyone know why or what is the reason when starting a new iMac with Lion a gray bar sometimes appears when loading software?

Does anyone know why or what is the reason when starting a new iMac with Lion, sometimes a gray bar appears under the Apple that begins to shade to dark as it loads OS?  It does this on occasion.  One time the system loaded was VERY slow and terrible colors.  Pulled the plug, re-started the computer and it did not do this.  As I say, its only on occasion, not every time.  I noticed in the discussion page there were problems listed for 10.6 nothing for Lion.
    Please advise, if possible.

You should see this 4 option menu.  Click on Disk Utility:
In Disk Utility, Select FIRST AID and then VERIFY and then REPAIR the disk.
    Ciao.
