Hi,
A quotation presents the customer with a legally binding offer for delivering a product or providing a service within certain fixed conditions. This offer is legally binding for the company within a specified time period.
You can extend the quotation validity, in the chnge mode of the quote.

What kind of financial periods exist in SAP? What is the relevant table for that?

    Hi venumadhav
In FInancial Accounting , Period is during time that you post G/L account  and you have to close period after  end of period and you will see the balance each G/L Account in each period.
There are 12 normal period and 4 special period (normal case , but can be changed by configuration ).  normal period are Jan , Feb ,...Dec and Special period are the extended period that use for posting in special case .For example if you close period in Dec and you have to adjust G/L Account by auditor checking  , you can post G/L Account to special period . special period are 13,14,15,16.  12 may use for Audit , 13 may use for changing after Sending to audit and found something mistake . that 's sample.
normally there is posting date to control the period (BUDAT) in the table BSIS. if the posting date is in the during time of period , we can say this posting is in that period .
    posting date : 03.09.2007            period : 09
    posting date : 30.11.2007            period : 11

  • What is the "Relevance" meter in iTunes store?

    Here's our podcast: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=190110077
Our show is about Fantasy Football. If you search the iTunes store for Fantasy Football, you'll see that our popularity "meter" is pretty strong but why is the "relevance" meter so low? How do we get that higher? What does it mean?
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

Well, it's probably a bunch of Apple voodoo that calculates those high scores, but...
Do you have any keywords listed in the channel info and item info sections of your RSS feed? If not, start there.
Next, you might want to expand the text for the show description. Make it longer than 6 words, and try to fit "fantasy football" in there a few times (it's only in there once right now). Maybe mention who the hosts are, and why people should care about them.
I don't know if it really matters, but it may help to fit "fantasy football" in each of the episode desriptions. Think of this as optimizing your website so that search engines will hit on certain keywords.
Who knows. At least your popular!

  • What is the relevancy of BBPCO idoc?

    Dear SAP gurus,
We're using SRM server 550 (SP08) with extended classic scenario. From the documentation I know that the PO will be created in R/3 using a BAPI which is BAPI_PO_CREATE (our backend is 4.6C). So I think if the PO is created using BAPI then the commitment will be created as per standard PO in R/3.
Then why do we still need BBPCO as an outbound idoc from SRM side to go to R/3 side? Wouldnt PO created by BAPI_PO_CREATE creating commitment as well?
    Please enlight.
    Best regards,
    John.

    Hi Yann,
Thanks for your quick reply. I ask this question because I got a very weird situation. We are using Extended Classic with SRM server 550 (SP08) and R/3 4.6C. So if the PO is approved by the last approver it should ALWAYS replicated to backend.
However we got some cases where the PO is not replicated. And for such POs, we see that idoc BBPCO is being sent from SRM. So we notice that if the PO is going to R/3 no BBPCO sent and if it is not going to R/3 then BBPCO is sent. So if what you said is correct, thus I think SRM thought that for these PO, standalone scenario applied, so rather than transferring the PO, BBPCO is being sent. But how is it possible? We already maintained that the product category * then the backend is set to the R/3. So it should NEVER be standalone, and we dont use any BADI related to the backend definition and transfer.
Based on our observation, this kind of thing usually happen if we generate PO from the accepted bid. But this bid should come from bidding invitation created from Shopping Cart (thru Sourcing Application). Even this would not ALWAYS happen, as we copied the SC into a new SC, push it to Sourcing, create bidding invitation and then accept bid and generate PO and now it is working. So we are really blank why does it happen in the first place.
    Do you have any idea?
    Thanks in advance.
    John.

  • What is the relevant Place to post?

    Hi
could any one point where the Hr-abap Quesitons be posted..
As when i am posting in the Sap-HR where no technical people will visit the same so one able to answer the same..
By posting it in Abap-general that is not accurate..
So Is there any Possibility for creating the Abap-hr category under Abap-general?
Hi Craig/Julius OR any other mods...Is creating the Extra category under Abap-general Is  huge deal?
Pls waiting for u r precious reply..
    Regards
    Sas
Ps: As now  a days There is INCREMENT in the Hr-projects expecting more technical problems and requiring more calrification....pls consider this adhoc

    Hi Suresh,
    Thankx alot for turning us..
    AS u mentioned..
it is close to 10 years for me
u can easily sor it out....What is Functional and what is technical...
an object can be developed in any ways...
For ex: One of u r post which has helped for creating enhancing the infotype sutype whihc is restircted in subtype...Which can be acieved through Features as well User exits..In which one is Pure Functional and other is technical....so in the either case some thing should be trnasparent..
Lets See come to macros..where abap people never use macro's...so posting in abap wont reflect..and Hr functional also the same..so making all the things considerbale..if one HR-abap column is maintained where there is plenty of knowledge share..instead of some golden replies related to hr(So many includes u) are hidden in abap forums ..I got one more point if we are ready to maintain JOB forum so why dont a hr-abap forum....
    Suresh hope u support this..

  • What is the relevance of the '4 dots' BB icon near the signal bars?

There is a '4 dots' Blackberry symbol next to the sigal bars in the top-right corner of the screen.
To my understanding on the legacy devices, this represented a connection to the BES infrastructure.
With this device relying on activesync for email, why does it need any sort of connection to BES?
I do not use BBM and do not have it activated either so there should be no connection to BES Infratructure.
    Thanks.

This tells you that the BlackBerry Services are working.
Take a look here for an explanation of the different symbols that can show up...

  • The relevance\purpose of shipping point in SAP SD

what is the relevance\purpose of shipping point in SAP SD?hat

    Hi,
    In addition to the above,
A delivery is always initiated from exactly one shipping point. Thus, all items of a delivery belong to one shipping point. Groups of deliveries also belong to exactly one shipping point.
The shipping point can be proposed automatically during order processing depending on the plant, loading group and shipping condition.
The shipping point is used as a selection criterion for lists of deliveries and the work list deliveries.
The shipping point is used as a selection criterion for processing deliveries like printing, picking or goods issue.

  • What is the difference Item and Header condition?

In Condition type screen, inside Control data1 section there are two fields Header Condition and Item condition. What is the relevance of these two fields and what is the diference between them?
    Thanks In Advance
    Prakash

    HI
Header condition as the name suggests is a condition type which is applied at the header level only. The header condition is always manual and no condition record can be maintained for this. There is no access sequence for the header condition. When you select a header condition in a sales order in pricing and give the rate for the same then this rate will be applicable for the whole document that is for all the items. In some cases it works proportionately. Like suppose you have header freight condition type 'HD00'. You have multiple line items in the sales order. When you give a rate for the same then it will be distributed proportionately among the line items depending upon the weight or basic price.
    Std SAP header condition types:
    HA00 - Percentage discount
    HB00 - Discount (Value)
    HD00 - Freight
    HM00 - Order value
    RD00 - Weight discount
    ITEM CONDTION:
Item conditions as the name suggests are given at the item level only. In the same sales order if there are 2 line items then, for the line item 10, the condition types may be different and for the line item 20 there may be different condition types. Like for eg: Discounts, say material discount 'K004". This condition type may be applicable for line item 10 and for the line item 20, it may not be applicable.
    Std SAP item condition types:
    PR00 - basic price
    K007 - customer discount
    K005 - customer/material discount
    KF00 - freight
So basically, header condition applies to all line items in the document and the item conditions are applicable at the line item level.
When you double click on a condition type in t.code V/06, there in the section "Changes which can be made" here you will see options like:
header condition - if you tick the condition type becomes header condition
Item condition - if you tick this then condition type becomes item condition.
    manual entries
    delete
    amount / percent
    value
    qty relation
    calculation type
If a condition type is applicable for all items in the document then it is better to select the condition type as header as it will save the item.Reward points if solution helps.

  • What is the best approach for different roles to be able to access relevant content

I am working on a project with the following requirements: -
    - a calendar, FAQ list, downloads document library and Service Request log developed from a custom list
    - I have three roles - employee, line manager and Senior Executive
    - For each of the above lists I want to 'tag' items as being for one or more of the three roles.
    - when a user logs in s/he should see the content that they are allowed to see. For example an employee should only see items that are intended for
an employee, a Line manager should see content for employees and line managers. Senior Execs should see all content.
    My options are: -
    1. Have a single calendar, doc library, FAQ list and have a 'intended for' choice field that a user must pick from when creating and item. A SPD workflow
can give item level permissions for the items based on the selected value and assign permissions to the relevant groups
    2. Have three sets of calendars, three sets of FAQ lists, three sets of doc libraries with unique permissions per list and use a content query web
part to show content on the landing page that is rolled up and security trimmed
    My question is
    – is there another way of tagging list/library items for a group of users and user only see what they are allowed to see?
If not then which of the above two options would be preferred from a best practice point of view
Many thanks for any advice you can give
    Johnny

Audiences. This link is for 2007 but it's still there in 2010 and 13:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/target-content-to-specific-audiences-HA010169053.aspx
They aren't security trimming but they will conceal information that isn't useful for users. That might cover some, if not all, of your requirements.
You could use three separate lists for each but you can do the same with three folders within the libraries just as well and still get most of the benefits.

  • What is the use of CM relevance field in DMS ?

    Hi DMS gurus,
What is the use CM relevance field in DMS ?
Is there any specific scenario ?
    Regards,
    Sunny

    Hi Sunny,
Usually CM (Configuration Management) is used when lifecycle phases come into picture as in lifecycle phases each phase has its own configuration which has to be maintained.
During their life, products and projects go through various life-cycle phases such as engineering and design, sales, production, and maintenance. In each life-cycle phase, a product has different configurations. A configuration is made up of multiple different objects that describe the product in the relevant life-cycle phase. For example, these can be documents, materials, BOMs or other objects. The grouping of objects changes over the course of time and is different from life-cycle phase to life-cycle phase.
Configuration Managment can be very much used when we make use of ECR/ECM (engineering change request/engineering change order) linked with DMS.
    Thank You,
    Manoj

  • Whats the relevance of the Transalation date in the BKPF table

    Dear All,
Whats the  relevance of <b>Transalation date ( field name WWERT )in the  BKPF table </b>  and what does it mean , since the translation date in a docuemnt which i was viewing is 03.01.2005 where as the document was created  a couple of days back.where the posting date and the entry date si 24.10.2005
    Thanks in adavance.
    Cheers
    Seshi.

    Hi,
This is F1 Documentation for the field,
    <b>Short text
    Translation date
    Definition
Translation date for determining the exchange rate which is to be used for translation. The exchange rates are stored in the system.
    Procedure
You do not need to enter a date unless the date in question is not the same as the document entry date.</b>
This is the date that is used for determining currency exchange rates during currency conversion..
For example, if the accounting document was created from a billing document then <b>vbrk-kurrf_dat</b> is passed into <b>bkpf-wwert</b>. <b>vbrk-kurrf_dat</b> in turn is normally filled from billing date (vbrk-fkdat).
