What is the return policy for products purchased from the US iStore?
Hi. I purchased a product fro an iStore in New York city (Apple Airport express). Actually required a router and was advised by staff it was a router (it is infact a wifi base station that will plug into an existing router). I'd like to return it/exchange it?
The AirPort Express is a router. It is not a modem. If you want the AirPort Express router to be able to connect to the Internet, you will need a separate modem to use with the AirPort Express. Check with your Internet Service Provider to see if they can supply you with a modem, or recommend a modem that you could purchase at a store
If I plug my telephone cable into it will it act as an ADSL modem?

Some products, which are called modem/routers or gateways, combine a modem and and a router in one package. If you want a device like this, you should return the AirPort Express for a device of this type.

My itunes on my iMac for the passed few weeks now keeps on comming with the message "This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPhone. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?"
or "This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPad. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?"
This while everything was working fine.
Please advise what I can do with this message.
When I press autorize, it comes up with a unknow appleID. When I use apple ID's that work - it comes with the message that the computer is autorized. but then the autorization message comes back.You can't change the Apple ID that the Authorize dialog comes up with by default. It's showing you that Apple ID for a reason: it means that the items you want to play were purchased using that Apple ID and therefore you need to authorize your computer with that Apple ID. Changing the Apple ID given completely defeats the entire purpose.
If you don't know the password to the given Apple ID, then you will no longer be able to play those items. -
why am I still getting this message after logging in? "This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPhone “*************s iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?" - after I have logged in and get the message that the computer is already authorized!!!?? - and then the above message pops up again?

while trying to sync with my iphone I recieve the message: This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPhone “Terri George’s iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store? When I put in my password and hit authorize, I get a message telling me there was an unknown error (-50). I have the same dilemma as many (apparently), which iPad to have the air or the Mini with retina. The form factor of the mini is very very appealing, but as I do a lot of photography and photography processing, the small colour gamut is quite a large disappointment as it's quite apparent to me. I had a 'play' with the air in store last night and decided on the air, but they didn't have the 32GB grey in stock so left without one. I got home and used my wife's Mini with retina all night and I had a change of heart and loved the size of the mini. However, the colour issue still bugs me.
So the long and short of it is that I'm still as confused as ever, I really need therapy lol
My latest thoughts are to get the Air from apple and give it a trial run in day to day living (using in store is not a true representation of usage imo) knowing that apple have a no quibble 14 day returns policy, and if I do decide I prefer the rMini after all I can swap it. I'm not sure how I feel about this morally though

I downloaded an app and tried to make an in-app purchase. When I did so, the app said it could not finish the transaction, but it didn't say why. However, I got a statement from iTunes and see that I have been charged for the in-app purchase for the service, even though the app itself still says I have not subscribed. Does anyone know how I get a refund?

I am intending to purchase the W520 online while in the US. I was wondering if the warranty is valid internationally? It is stated on Lenovo's Shop online that it is only under a 1 year Depot Warranty.

Thanks!You should buy the 3year Next business day warranty. However, there is a lot of hassle getting this warranty if you purchase it online - took me nearly 3 months of pain to get it registered so I could actually use it.
You will come across a lot of conflicting information on this warranty- the UK lenovo warranty department told me it was UK only, but their website and sales team said it was international. the terms and conditions state its a worldwide warranty, then goes on to
say that the warranty only applies in the country of purchase.
Also, some countries, like Lenovo in Spain, will not honour this warranty - you have to pay with your credit card to raise any warranty request after 1 month of purchase, 3 year warranty or not.
Also, you have to deal with the country you are in, you cant call up the States and get them to organise a fix in say in France. If you dont speak French, you are going to struggle.
The Dell NBD warranty is far far superior.
