I am not good at mac os code. so i have some questions about route grammar.
eg:
I need add a static route for a IP,
just like:sudo route -nv add -net 10.0.0.0 192.168.42.254
i input it in termina,then it worked. But when i restart mac. the route did not exist.
so where is not right form about the "sudo route -nv add -net 10.0.0.0 192.168.42.254"?

What is the right way to set the physical path of a folder?
I want to upload .PDF files using an Upload form on a JSP page which is located on the App Server. The .PDF files will be uploaded into the Web Server. The App Server and Web Server are on separate machines. My JSP page contains the path (eg: /apps/Server4/docs/Upload/) that should point to the physical folder on the Web Server. My problem is that I get an error stating that the folder cannot be found as the path was invalid. My question is, when I have this sort of setup, what is the right form of the physical path? Can you give me an example of a path that points from the App Server to the Web Server which sits on another machine. OR should I just install the Web Server in the same machine as
the App Server? I was developing on a setup where both the Apps and Web Server was on the same machine
and I didn't have this 'path problem'. The problem arise when the application was deployed onto our staging server. Why do I want to upload it onto the Web Server? This is because I need to view the .PDF files using Acrobat Reader straight from the server without downloading the .PDF file. I found out I couldn't do this if the .PDF files were uploaded into a folder which sits in the App Server.Well the problem is, as you have found out, is that the JVM is executing on the appserver which may or may not have access to the webserver. There no way (within your existing application) that you can tell the webserver to save the file, since the webserver isn't executing any code.
So you have several options:
1. You can have the application server and webserver run on the same physical machine. This obviously gives the application server access to the physical directory structure of the webserver. (Assuming that you set permissions correctly.) The disadvantage is that there are many architectural advantages (including security) that you would want to separate your webserver and appserver.
2. You can NFS mount the webserver directory on the appsever box. This allows you to treat the webserver directory as if it was local. The downside to this is that you will have additional security concerns. (Exposing the webserver via NFS, firewall issues between the two servers etc.)
3. Fix the MIME problem occuring when you serve PDF's from the appserver. You might have to write your own PDF serving servlet to do this. -
What is the right way to display a table in Java web dynpro using a node.

I am trying to show a node of cardinality 0...n as a table in an adobe form in Java web dynpro. But its not showing it properly. Can anybody please tell me what is the right way to display a table on adobe form using a node of cardinality 0...n or 1...n in Java Webdynpro. In ABAP webdynpro, we can drag and drop a node of cardianlity 0...n or 1...n to show as a table and it works fine. Is the same possible in Java webdynpro also. Please help.

Dynamic Table - same data repeating in all rows
Special care should be taken in designing the context for table attribute.
The attribute type singletone also plays a important role. I have this doubt from the beginning when you have reported this problem for the first time but finally you marked it as solved so i thought there might be some other issues but again when you reported that again i did some analysis.
Now coming to final solution :
For designing a table in adobe interactive form you have consider following
You have to design the view context upto three level, I am explaining you the properties
PDFDataSource (Parent Level1) - Cardinality 1:1 - Signetone -True - This is assigned to datasource
TableList (Parent Level2) - Cardinality (1:1) - Signetone -True
TableWrapper(Parent Level3) - Cardinality (0:n) - Signetone -True
TableData (Parent Level4) - Cardinality (0:1) - Signetone - false (This is the main point)
Then under TableData value node, you have to put all your table attributes.
This Value Node name can be anything but hierarchy should be same as I have mentioned above.
Please try out these steps and get back to me if you have any doubt. -

I filled the forms, I signed them , I called the assistance for case number and they've sent me another module:

Dear all,
I am on SAP R/3 4.7 Ext 2.
All my custum forms are written in 3 ways:
1) Pure Sapscript
2) Outside SAP with a third part product called "Adobe Output Central Pack" ( in the past was Accelio and previous again Jetform )
3) In a mixed way of the previous two ways
I don't like to depend on "Adobe Output Central Pack" for a lot of reasons so I tried in the past to push my company on convert all the forms with Smartform in order to bring all inside SAP. But "Adobe Output Central Pack" was a big economic effort and also the Smartform conversion has been evaluated as a big effort with few benefits.
Now I read about Interactive Forms and also Adobe people spoke to me about another product called Livecycle Form.
In your opinion what is the right way to choose ?
Is Smartform already history ?
Now people ask for printed forms, pdf files and so on.
I thougth that smartform was the solution.
Does I need in any case a third part product in order to save time and money and have good results ( This is what my company ask us everyday ) ?

Interactive Forms ist a cooperation of SAP and Adobe, and the features and functions shipped by SAP are a subset of what Adobe offers with their stand-alone products from the LiveCycle family, which is why Adobe would position those products separately from the SAP integration. So while we include third-party software, because we believe it is currently the best possible solution, SAP is your contact for any issue around the Interactive Forms solution.
Smart Forms and SAPscript as the legacy tools for non-interactive forms will continue to be shipped by SAP so that all existing forms will continue to run as before. That means Smart Forms is not history.
Naturally, with the increasing use of Interactive Forms for interactive scenarios (something you can't do with Smart Forms or SAPscript), you may reach the point where you ask yourself whether it makes sense to consolidate all your forms in one technology.
The goal of the integration of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer into SAP was to make the form design faster and easier. From SAP-internal experience (about 200 developers have worked with the solution), I can say that it does save time and money once you are familiar with the way the tool works.

Earlier adapters have T shaped connectors, which Apple later changed to the L shape, presumably to make them more abuse-proof. Either one is fine and the one you are using will not damage your Mac.
Retina MBPs and new MBAs use a completely different MagSafe 2 connector which will not fit (without an adapter). -

I´m understood that Environment is unique for all aplication, and I think that it is good to put on Singleton Pattern, but I don´t know the best form to do it with the databases.
I think two forms, the first is create a singleton open database, with this form I don´t will close the database and all application will use it. So, the second form is open a data base at the moment that I will use it, for example, into a DAO when I will do inserts, deletes, etc, and at the final of the operation I close the database.
So, I don´t know what form is the best, and if those forms are corrects, if exist another form to do it I would like to know.Hugo,
An application can choose to use one or more Environment and Database instances in a single process. In other words, it is the application's choice whether it wants to instantiate a single Environment or Database and share it among multiple threads, or whether it wants to instantiate multiple instances.
Choosing one pattern or another is a function of your application's design, and performance considerations. As you say, you could instantiate a single Database instance and pass it around, or you could open and close the Database every time you get a data record. A third choice is to open a Database instance per thread, and reuse that for the life of the application.
The second choice of opening and closing the Database per data record access is pretty heavyweight from a performance point of view. There is a fair bit of overhead to the initial open of a database, and to the final close. Follow-on opens are not as heavyweight, but do have some cost. For example:
// expensive
thread 1 calls Environment.openDatabase() or new EntityStore()
// less expensive, database is already open, thread 2 is really just getting a handle
// onto the database, but still more expensive than a read or write of a data record
thread 2 calls Environment.openDatabase() or new EntityStore()
The first choice of using a single Database instance in your process will perform much better. If your application has a high level of concurrency, there can be some contention on the Database instance, described in this FAQ - http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/faq/je_faq.html#32 and you may prefer to try the third option of using a Database instance per thread.

What are the right names for the 2 OHS?

Currently we have 2 options for an HTTP Web Server for APEX:
- An Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) from the database companion CD.
- An Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) from the Oracle Application Server.
The first OHS is based on Apache 1.3.x and the second on Apache 2.0.x.
What are the right way to reference them so people know what your are talking about? In the manuals they are just called OHS but since they are not the same I would like to distinguish them some way. What do you call them?

OHS from the database companion CD and from the Application Server are both based on an Apache 1.3.x HTTP server.
On the Oracle Application Server companion CD is an OHS based on an Apache 2.0.x HTTP server. This release does not contain the mod_plsql module an can therefor not be used for APEX.

I've had two Macs doing wireless Time Machine backups to one Time Capsule.
Question: I got rid of one Mac, and want to delete its backup entirely (but leave the other computer's backups untouched). What's the right way to do it?Bob Timmons wrote:

Click on the Time Capsule and a folder will appear to the right.
Double click the folder and you should see a xxxxxx.sparsebundle file for each computer that has been backing up.
Click on the xxxxx.sparsebundle file that you want to delete to highlight it and then click the gear shaped icon just above. Select Move to Trash. (Do not drag the file to the Trash as this will not work).
Be careful, as the file will be deleted instantly and you will not be able to retrieve it.

That's something I just did successfully one hour ago...
I suppose your are in the 'folder' view with full folder tree, not in the 'My folder' view which only shows the lower subfolder level recorded in the database.
Do you try to move a folder with its subfolders ? -

Adding a handler to the DataGrid works; but (as expected) it only works on the datagrid itself. Like if you swipe on the background before rows are fully added. Adding columns over the datagrid, prevents the datagrids’ swipe handler from firing.
Trying to add a swipe hander to the columns themselves, results in the below error.

what if i'm using a surge protection with a on/off button, can I just turn the surge protector extension on and off without disconnecting the magsafe connector and adapter plug from my laptop when i'm not using it?
thank you very muchIf there is any arcing it may be because the adapter is dirty. It is best to plug in the wall wart then attach the magsafe to the MacBook. As GfulDedFan mentioned this reduces the chance of power surging the MacBook. I have done mine this way since he day I bought it and have never had an arc. I keep it clean to reduce the chance of this happening. The following will help in the care of your supply.

this are the correct. if wrong can anyone tell me what is the full form of this above statementc = the total CPU time consumed by the Oracle process during the call
e = amount of wall time elapsed during the call
cr = number of Oracle database blocks obtained by the call in consistent mode from buffer cache.
r = number of rows processed.
