What is the sharing limit?

I have a script I am trying to share but whenever someone tries sharing with me it says my sharing limit has been reached.  I have unshared alomst all of my other documents and still no good.  The only work around we have come up with to maintain progress is my co-writer starting a script and sharing it with me.  I am able accept scripts but that isn't really good enough because I tend to write in places where Internet cannot be found.  Can you please help me by emailing [email protected]?  I would greatly appreciate it.

In regards to email, there has been an overall message size limit since day one. I recall when email was in its infancy, I had a 2 MB overall message size limit with my company's Exchange account, and some I exchanged email with had a smaller limit. The limit has been increased some over time - some email account providers have a 20 MB overall message size limit but that is worthless for sent messages if the recipient's email account provider has a smaller limit such as 10 MB, and many do.
This is a bandwidth and server storage space issue. Some email account providers provide a very low sever storage limit for received emal especially with an email account provided by an internet service provider.
In addition, all email attachments must be encoded before being sent and decoded at the recipient's end. MIME is used for attrachment encoding/decoding which isn't very efficient. The size of an email attachment before being encoded will be nearly double in size after being encoded.

What is the character limit for length for video or song review?

One other thing I found... It was still doing the spinning clock and locking up, but it took a while after boot for the problem to crop up.
I pulled the media card and found that there was a media sync folder under Blackberry\System that had some files in there that were pretty big.  The artwork file was over 150MB and some other files were largish.
I deleted the entire media sync folder and now it seems to be behaving itself.  No more spinning clock and it seems to be slowly returning to normal.  (Besides all the messages it deleted during the whole process)
If anyone else runs into this I would say you should clean the folder off the media card along with disabling the sync.  Seems the BB still reads that folder and processes it if present.

What is the temperature limit of the finger to work on iPhone touchscreen? I'm asking this, because I've noticed that when my finger gets too warm (about 104oF) the screen of my iPhone 5 doesn't recognize its touch. Thank you.

I understood. Emphasizing that this is still a guess, when you touch the screen it compares your fingerprint at that time to the one you originally recorded. The fact that the finger is warmer may have a small effect on the fingerprint making it appear different than the original colder one. Temperature differences cause things to expand and contract and that may be having an effect on the comparison. You could try recording a fingerprint after doing what you are doing and then see if it will be recognized when you do the same thing to log into the phone. I know that prior to iOS 7.1 for a few minutes after I would wash my hands the phone had difficulty recognizing the fingerprint. Don't know if it was temperature or moisture that caused the temporary change induced by the hand washing. That improved with version 7.1 I think.

    Hi Rob,
For sure, the error message generated by our 10.2.0.3 db is ORA-44201: cursor needs to be reparsed.
I have posted a thread in Database - General:

What is the RAM limit in a macbook pro 2.33ghz intel core 2 duo.?
3GB. You can install 4GB. The computer will only utilize approximately 3.3GB though.

  • What is the size limit of mbox files in Leopard Mail 3.0 ?

What is the file size limit of mbox files in Leopard Mail?
e.g. a main folder -- that contains no actual emails -- but contains many sub-folders each of which have an mbox file.
Each mbox file has a limit, but because the main folder has several mbox files/subfolders, it means that the size of the main folder gets very large.
Question: is there is a size limit for the main folder, even though there is no mbox file associated with the main folder (since it merely acts as a folder for subfolders)?
Question: what is the practical limit for each mbox file -- theoretical and practical? i.e. what size should we not exceed in order to avoid corruption?

I've been researching for the same answer. And technically speaking, I don't have one. In the past, I've "heard" that the mailbox size limit was something like 1GB for Mail (OS X 10.3) and then something like 2-4GB for Mail (OS X 10.4). I have searched all over the place in technical documentation and can't really get a good answer. I'm almost leaning towards believing that there is no limit, based on the fact that the database that mail is using (particularly for OS X 10.4) is BerkeleyDB 4.2.52 and that DB doesn't have a size restriction. I'm not sure if that is the only factor involved though. I've tried researching the limits for KMail, which is the mail program that runs on KDE (Linux), which is the program that Mac OS X Mail is based off of... and I can't find anything there either. Most people say, "It's a free app, so don't expect much," but I'd rather use Mac OS X Mail than most anything else. I hope that maybe someone from Apple... or someone else who can reference technical documentation can help out. Thanks!

  • Dead Pixel !!! What is the acceptable limit ?

My iPod Touch has a dead pixel which I observed very recently. What is the acceptable limit before I need to request for replacement? Its about 6 months old now.
    Thanks,

The link explains apple's point of view. However, if a dead pixel does come in itouch, do i need to worry ? Does it increase the possibility more dead pixels ??

  • What causes the Shared Variable Engine to Crash?

    All,
    Some background info:
I am using the SVE and DSC so that I can log my data to Citadel using Data Sets. I converted a previous DSC 7.1 project that used the tag engine over. That app ran for over 18 months. Need to upgrade app and add features at my customer requests so we migrated to LV 8.0.1.
I have an app that crashes the Shared Variable Engine (SVE). I created a test app with a single SV and then created a control and bound it to the SV and it works every time until I launch the larger app. The main app only has 33 SV that are set when I receive TCP data from PXI RT system (not using SV on RT since the logged data is only a fraction of the total data streamed and I don't want to take apart the RT data and send the SV separately). I have bound front panels controls to the SV's. When I run, I get server connection has been closed. I verified that the SVE was running with the test app before launching the main app.
I deploy the shared variables in the application and have verified they are deployed by the Monitor Variables utility ... but it always shows "No Value" for the data fields. I have set logging to enabled for data only, set Value Deaband (%) to 0 and Value resolution to 0, Update Deadband is Disabled as is Alarming, Scaling, Initial Value and Description. Security is set to default. All of the variables are set to Double, Network-Published, Single Writer with Buffering and Bind to Source disabled.
I have verified that the SV deploy without error by clicking Deploy from the project. Autodeploy All is off but I get the same results with it On (checked).
I undeploy and kill the process when I close the application.
I have tried only using 1 or 2 of the SV in the main app but get the same results. Every once in a blue moon it will work after rebooting the PC (but not everytime). Once it dies I have tried running NI examples as well as the test app and they fail until I reboot.
The error code indicates that the SVE engine has crashed. I have changed the service settings on Windows to relaunch on 1st, 2nd and all times after but nothing restarts the SVE. After it crashes it is impossible to exit LabVIEW without it hanging or reboot the PC without pressing the hard On/Off switch.
Once it dies there is nothing that I can do to get it back alive without rebooting the PC (a real problem for a control and monitoring system).
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks.
    Randy

    Randy
Sorry for the delay, I've been researching your issue and juggling a few other issues. :-)  One thing we can check is the Windows Event Log which will give us some more details as to WHY the Shared Variable engine seems to be blowing up on us (Conttrol Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer).  Any details in there along the lines of Variable Engine or Tagger crashing will help us narrow down what's going on.
There's always a possibility of files not getting upgraded correctly; however there aren't many shared components between LV 7.1 and LV 8.0. The Shared Variable engine is entirely new and the installations of LabVIEW themselves don't share many files outside of the example finder and a few other small common components (things located in the appropriately named Shared folder)  I keep both on my machine (in addition to 5.1, 6.1, 7.0, and 8.2) without any hiccups.
The SVE crashing I have seen in the past (and from internal bug reports) has been from buggered installs, so uninstalling and reinstalling DSC may be a good course of action. One good test to do in the middle is to see if the engine still crashes with DSC uninstalled.
    Hope this helps.

  • What is the max limit

I have written a file parser to insert a CSV directly into a table. The CSV contains 2 fields that would be considered memo fields in Access.
Now I get this Error: (ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error ) when I run this section of code:
    DBMS_LOB.converttoclob (v_text_file, v_binary_file, DBMS_LOB.lobmaxsize, v_dest_offset, v_src_offset, DBMS_LOB.default_csid, v_lang_context, v_warning); The error I believe is relating to this section of the code: DBMS_LOB.lobmaxsize .
    My questions are:
What is the max size of DBMS_LOB?
And has anyone had any success inserting/parsing a field that contains 10000+ characters with Access embedded special characters?

    Hello,
" Only problem that I have with OMWB is that it converts on memo field into a clob but the other into a varchar2(255) and truncates the data"Are you talking from experience? The varchar2 limitation doesn't make sense to me. I didn't use the tool my self, but I remember reading that the Oracle model can be changed. Maybe you should check the documentation more carefully. You can also try to open a new thread, with a specific subject on Access migration. That can draw the attention of the experienced posters.
" Hopefully the APEX team can come up with something about converting/recognizing Access special characters in the next version."From what I'm reading about ApEx 3.0 the last few days, it seems it will include a dedicated tool for Access migration.
    Regards,
    Arie.

  • What is the theoretical limit for SDHC (on the Zen

    is it 64gb ?

It depends on whether you're on 32bit or 64bit platform.
On 32bit platform, maximum virtual space is 4G. (2^32)
And on 32bit Windows, 2G space is reserved for OS kernel and another 2G space is reserved for a process.
So the maximum memory space that jvm can use is 2G.
Excluding some native os specific memory, generally the maximum java heap available for "one" java process is around 1500M.
In your case this limit seems to lie between 1.1G ~ 1.5G.
Every 32bit platform has similar limit. 1G ~ 3G range is reasonable. It dependes on OS, not JVM version.
PS) There is "/3GB" option on Windows, which expands the 2G limit to 3G. I've never tested it myself. If you have a change to give it a try(google will tell you how-to), let us know the result, Ok?
And AWE functionality for Windows enables the memory address far more much than 2G. But unfortunately JVM does not support AWE API. :(

  • What is the size limit for a video using VZW Messaging

I've tried a few times to send videos with VZW Messenger but every time it gets rejected for being too large.  I don't see a setting anywhere and these videos aren't that big.  What's the trick??
    Thank you,
    Ron

I may not simply be a matter of size, it may also be a matter of resolution.
In the past, I have tried to send a video which was not able to be sent because it failed to meet the size restrictions of the texting app. I tried repeatedly to shorten the video until it was not worth sending. I then lowered the resolution of the phone when taking another video to a lower resolution and was able to send the video even though the file size was larger then the size of a higher resolution video I had previously tried to send.
I believe I had to lower the resolution to 640x480 in order to send the video attached to a text. Whether or not this is still the case, I do not know as I rarely send video MMS.
