What is the sign of Range in Validation

Dear Expert,
I have struck in validation (ob28). actually I want to give there in validation, a range of vendor (like 6100000 to 61999999).
But I dont know the sign of  Range.
Please let me know the sign of Range .
Regards
Rukshana

Dear,
The best solution to your requirement is to create a Set through GS01 and maintain the number ranges of your vendor, in the set, it can be individual or in range.
Specify the set in your Validation.
For range you can try below:
BSEG-LIFNR >= 6100000 OR  BSEG-LIFNR =<61999999.
Hope this helps..

What does the sign mean next to the battery: a with lock with a circle, but the I phone is unlocked

    Orientation lock.  From http://www.apple.com/iphone/tips/
    Lock the screen orientation.
Double-click the Home button to bring up the multitasking interface, then swipe from left to right. Now tap the portrait orientation lock once to turn it on and again to turn it off.

  • What are the sign-in settings for Jabber?

Firstly, I do not have a business account with Cisco.
We have downloaded the desktop Jabber program.
I have now registered an account with Jabber and an account with Cisco.
When I open Jabber Video on the desktop, it asks for a username.
What is the Jabber username? The email sent to me from Jabber states: "Sign in with your email address or jabber email" - but this is not the username, because the program will not accept an @ sign in the username field.
I have tried the username that I signed up to Cisco with - this is not it either.
I see a notice stating "Connection rejected by server. Try logging in again"
On the Jabber start up screen, I see "Sign-in settings". When I open this window, all fields (Internal Server, External Server, SIP Domain) are blank. Why are they blank? Could this be the problem? Are the data for these fields to come from my side or from Cisco?
Unfortunately, Cisco tech support won't take my call because I do not have an account and therefore cannot set up a "Tech Support File".
    Appreciate all feedback.
    thanks

    Hi Stephen,
To login, the internal server should be: https://boot.ciscojabbervideo.com/endpoint/configuration
The external server and domain fields are blank.
Your username only needs the prefix of your @jabber.com video address.  For example, if your video address is [email protected] then your username is "stephen."
Unfortunately, there is only forum support for this free service.

  • What are the typical temerature ranges for the black Macbooks?

    Hello everyone,
Posting this as a one-year owner of one of the earlier black MacBooks (Macbook 2,1 - mid 2007 - 2GHz Core 2 Duo) just wondering what the typical temperature ranges are for at idle and under load for this line of machine?
I have modified the device slightly, putting a 120GB solid state drive, toping it out with 3GB of RAM and have Lion installed on it. I use it for a mixture of general web browsing and work (which does include running a Windows XP virtual machine in Fusion 4 although again, nothing heavier than testing websites in IE/Chrome/Firefox/Safari) and have just become a bit aware of the temperatures.. At idle (nothing running at all) the system is at ~40C and under load about 70C-80C, with the fan running flat out to cool it down. Watching YouTube videos does also put it up at this temperature, but I understand that Flash and OSX do not play nicely. I have opened up the device and blown compressed air into and around the fan intakes to clean it out, and most (if not all) of the time it is on a flat surface with adequate ventalation.
I'm really wandering whether these temperatures are typical for this range of MacBook, as from experience a laptop of this spec should not be getting this hot.. Also a question for anyone that would be kind enough to take a stab - would it be worth me replacing the thermal paste on the CPU/GPU with some Arctiv Silver? I'd be comfortable doing that if it would benefit my heat issues. I've had a Google about this and the results are a mixed bag..
Thanks for anyone kind enough to take a look at this!

Okay well in lieu of any answers since I posted this (I am aware it was only a short while ago) but at the rate posts get buried on here, I wanted to post my own findings.
Various posts across the we show that the white series of these MacBooks operate at around 50C-55C at idle and under load reach up to 80C. Apple says that it should shutdown at ~90C - the highest I have ever seen my MacBook get is 87C, so temperature wise:
    Idle: 50-55C
    Under load: 70C-80C
    Thermal Shutdown: 90C
With the fans being noisy when under load, apparently there are two main "families" of the black MacBook. The earlier models (of which my one is) run at the above temperatures with a fan speed of ~6800RPM being fully open and ~1200RPM being idle. The Santa Rosa MacBooks however being a later model have a much more efficient - albeit more noisy - fan module. I daresay the Santa Rosa black MacBooks are more common being the newer model.
So my findings - my temperatures of reaching 70C-80C are normal for the work I do. The fan speed being up to 6800RPM is fine - and the noise is just a trait of this line of MacBook sadly.

  • What are the signs of water damage to my macbook pro

my boyfriend set everything in the back of the truck, including my laptop, while he was cleaning out the inside. when finished he put everything back in the truck, and drove through a carwash. unfortunately, my laptop was in its black sleeve and blended in, getting left in the bed of the truck. it was in a protective sleeve and had a smartshell case on it. both are not the best protection though, especially against water. he claims the computer was dry when he took it out of everything but i dont see how thats possible. though i am currently using it, and i havent noticed any signs of damage, what are the chances the laptop has damage that will take effect later? its been a month already. but i dont want to open it one day and everythings erased or something. im only thinking about it again because every time i click an icon, it jumps to another desktop. thats only been happening today. are there any warning signs i can look for so i can fix it before it gets really bad?

Any anomalies should make you suspect that you suffered some type of water damage. Because liquid damage can take many routes, as corrosion begins to set it, you may not know that damage has occurred until strange things start happening with your system.
Probably the best thing you can do, since an anomaly has presented itself, is to take your machine into an Apple Store or an AASP for a free diagnosis. If they notice that the liquid sensors have been activated, they will let you know.
    Good luck,
    Clinton

  • What are the sign to look for if you think the macbkpro has water damage???

I had a small amoung of water soak throught my case, were the water reached the corner of the top side were the back of the computer is when it is open and want to know what the signs of water damage are so that I can look for them, only about 3/2.5 inches was with water of this corner. Would I have probelems right away if it was water damage????help please

"only about 3/2.5 inches was with water of this corner.?
How much is that in plain speak?
    Spill Cleaning
And, don't think that just because it was two teaspoons and not a glassful that there is a difference.
Some liquid has just spilled into your Mac. What should you do?
    Do
Immediately shut down the computer and unplug the power cord.
Remove the computer's battery (if you can)
Disconnect any peripherals (printers, iPods, scanners, cameras, etc.)
Lay the computer upside down on paper towels to get as much liquid as possible to drip out.
Note what was spilled on your Mac.
Bring the computer into an Apple store or AASP as soon as possible.
    Don't
Don't try to turn it back on. Liquids can help electrical current move about the components of your Mac in destructive ways.
Don't shake the computer (this will only spread the liquid around).
Don't use a hair dryer on it (even at a low setting a hair dryer will damage sensitive components).
Do not put in a bag of rice in as much as rice will get into the ports and optical drive and do further damage.

  • Image Sequence Settings in QT Pro - what is the Frame Rate range available?

I am considering purchasing QT Pro for Windows. I wish to make a time lapse movie out of a series of pictures. I would like to know what the range of options is for the "Image Sequence Settings" in File->Open image Sequence... menu. Does is it go well beyond 1 second?
    Thanks!
    Chris

Frames rates are from 10 seconds per frame up to 60 frames per second.
I make many image sequence movies and just start with one frame per second.
I then "add scaled" to a properly timed audio only file. This way you can get nearly any frame rate you could ever need.

  • What is the sign of an External Drive Gone Bad?

I tried to copy a folder from my external LaCie backup drive to my Mac. The copy operation stalled about halfway through. After 10 minutes a 40 MB folder was still not copied. So I clicked the Stop button in the copy dialogue, and then I got the spinning beachball. One by one, I got the spinning beachball on every program I was working in ... first the Finder, then the menu bar, then my Web browser, and even the Dock. I couldn't even force quit anything. I finally had to do a hard restart of my eMac.
After restarting, I tried to run Disk Utility on the external drive partition that had stalled out. Repair Permissions went OK, but when I tried Repair Disk, I got the message in the Disk Utility window: "Operation stopped because of error" and the dialog box:
    "Unmount failed
The disk "Backup drive" fail to unmount because it is in use. The operation has been cancelled. "
Is this a sure sign that the external hard drive is failing? If not, what is? Can I rule out a software or formatting problem?

The "external database" is one of the primary components of a Rapid Mart.
Actually it's a data mart model - which must be created on a database.
A Rapid mart will also include one or more Data Integrator jobs to load the data mart.   And one or more universes and sample reports to query the data mart.

  • What does the - sign mean at the bottom of the folder

I have minus signs popping up under my folders on my server. When I try and change it in permissions it will not let me, even if I was the original creator of the folder. I'm Stumped?

The minus sign is exactly what you see, your don't have access to that folder.
How or why the permisisons changed I haven't got a clue.
You might have to repair permisisons and/or use admin/root to change the permisisons back to the original owner.

  • HT204387 what is the sound frequency range that iDevices deliver over Bluetooth?

I want to streem an audo file over bluetouth to a headset and filter out the higher frequency and extract 48 bits 20 time a second while still mataining reasnable audo quality my question is: What iDevices are capable of that kind of frequency range over bluetooth if any? AND are there any setings i should know of?(i will be filtering out the higher frequencys useing foren haedwhare)

95C should be okay, though it may accelerate breakdown of plastics and reduce the long-term longevity of your machine. (Depends if you still want to be using it in it's current state in 5-7 years.)
That said, my W520 (albeit a ThinkPad) runs at 95C on a regular basis, and is still doing alright.
Removing the bottom plate and applying external airflow are effective workarounds.
Consider replacing your thermal paste with something enthusiast such as Gelid GC-Supreme?

  • What is the best long range wireless router, airport extreme or time capsule? Or?

I need a wireless router that will reach 350--400 feet with a strong enough signal to use Netflix. This will be line of site in a rural area reaching from one trailer to another. Both trailers run on 12volt solar systems but trailer A has an inverter to convert to 120volts for a wireless router. Trailer B only has 12volt power so the Internet signal must come exclusively from the wireless router in Trailer A. There is no electricity available for booster wireless routers in between the two trailers.
We don't need all of the bells and whistles like being able to connect to printers etc. This is just about sending out a strong enough signal to watch Netflix. Which is more powerful for this purpose? Airport Extreme or Time Capsule? If neither of those is strong enough, what is?
    Thanks,
    SV

The issue you are really facing is the long distance (at the WiFi frequencies) you have to travel.  The Extreme has a radiated power of 23 dBm, nominal, which can reach 50-150 feet depending on you you are talking to...and that is measured in a closed test chamber at ideal air temperature and humidity, no obstructions.  In the real world that signal will be attenuated significantly just by the air alone, assuming completely obstacle free path, and subject to interference from other sources in the area, such as cell phones and cordless phones, and microwave ovens.
The AirPort units have enclosed antennas that cannot be connected with an external gain antenna.  So you are stuck with what is in the box.
Other products, commercial, do use external antennas so you may want to do some research in that area.
Keep in mind that the 802.11n protocol uses two frequency bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.  Signal attenuation increases rapidly as a function of frequency.  You will get much less distance if you use the 5 GHz band, so it would be best to restrict operation to 2.4 GHz.
Now, another aspect, at 2.4 GHz you are in the Ultra High Frequency portion of the spectrum...exposure to radio frequency energy at high power should not be considered a safe or desirable thing in the UHF range.  Most communication specialialists try to minimize exposure at these frequencies.  The reason for saying this is you will need significantly greater radiated power than the Extreme can deliver to reach 400 feet.  You might want to do some searches on health effects of the RF energy you will be transmitting.
So, bottom-line, I have difficulty encouraging using wireless tranmission at the WiFi frequencies for the distance you need.

  • What`s the maximum wireless range? (how many feet?)

i`d keep search for this features through the whole website in apple.com and the reviews from other websites. But, there isn`t any may solve my question. Is there anyone can help me? i hope to know that how far range for the airport extreme 802.11n can reach to. Thank you.

unclebiscuit, Welcome to the discussion area!
The maximum range for 802.11b/g is 50 meters.
Apple advertises that the square AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) has "...up to twice the range of networks created with the earlier 802.11g standard."

  • What's the @ sign doing there?

I'm transfering files to a media reader and for some reason it can't read some of the files. Looking at the rights on the files in terminal, the ones not working has an @ appended. It would read like this
    -rwxrwxrwx@ owner group date filename.jpg
the above don't show up in the media reader.
    -rwxrwxrwx owner group date filename.jpg
    does show up.
    Please explain?

The @ indicates that there are extended attributes associated with the file. That could be access control lists or special flags.
You can't copy extended attributes to filesystems that don't support them. For example, a common media player will use the FAT32 filesystem (Windows 95) which does not support extended attributes for files. You should be able to copy the file over without a problem, you'll just lose the extended attribute information (which isn't necessary for the media player anyway).
One thing, however, is that OS X permits longer filenames and a larger number of characters than what is permitted by FAT32. If you have problems copying the file, try making the filename shorter and make sure that it uses simple ASCII characters in the name. Also, make sure that the media player is set to be writable. It's possible that it doesn't permit directly writing to it, even if it supports directly reading from it.

  • What is the @ sign at the end of a file mode string

I have a directory (which I am the owner and I have admin access) with the following mode string:
drwxrwxr-x@. All files in the dir have the @ appended to their mode string. This attribute modifier prevents me from altering files without entering the admin password. What is this @ and how can I get rid of it?

@ displays that the file or directory has extended attributes.
    man ls
is your friend. To manipulate extended attributes look at the help file for xattr
    xattr -h
