Hi,
Are you talking about the signature in HTTP filtering? If yes, the signature is used for
specifying whether to allow or block requests based on the specific signatures in the headers or body.
For example, if you add the letter "a" as a signature, any request or response containing "a" will be blocked.

You are correct, all TMG product sales officially ended in December 2012.
In addition, an ISA Server and a TS Gateway server can be used together to enhance security for remote connections to internal network resources. However, it
seems that ISA 2006 cannot support that on Windows Server 2012 R2. For more detailed information:

We can use table maintenance for making the creation,deletion,changing the entries easily.
We can even make use of the validations required for some fields thro' table maintenance,while creating the entry.
If some fields need to be populated automatically while creating an record in a database,we can make use of table maintenance for this purpose.
When the extended table maintenance is called, a work area is fetched from the database into an internal buffer for processing on the screen. Either all entries in the database are fetched into the work area, or the selection can be restricted in a view definition or in the calling program.
Field contents are maintained in an internal buffer, so the database is not automatically accessed after each individual record has been maintaIned. Changes made are only copied from the internal buffer to the database when save is chosen. This buffering gives the maintenance procedure a transaction orientation. This gives you the possibility of discarding changes before the database access (user-controlled "rollback") and allows consistency checks for all changed data, before it is written to the database.

The standard BI Publisher is part of EBS applications.
Most of the EBS reports(R12) are based on BI Publisher.
If you check the responsibility 'XML Publisher Administrator' you will see all the templates used in the application.
Your technical team should already know this.
On the other hand OBIEE would need separate licences.
But for you BI Publisher would do.

What is the best way to add multiple images with links into an email signature?
I created an email signature with five linked images by:
* creating new message
• attached the image
• adding link to the image
• copied new email signature
• under Preferences/Signature added the new signature
It all works, but some of the emails bounced back. When we removed the images, the email went through.
I tried putting all the images into Photoshop and making it all one image, used the slice tool to create a link for each image and brought that single image into the signature, but that didn't work as separate links.

So what I should have done on my PC for all my files is gone to the File menu and used the Package command which would have converted it into a file with the images in it so they wouldn't need to be relinked.
From now on I will only be working on Mac (I gave away my PC) but I'm sure I could use a friend's pc (or at a later point install Windows on my Mac). But to use the Package command on PC I need to actually have the images in the correct folder on the PC right? -
What is the certification authority, the third party that can confirm the digital signature?
I created a nice electronic signature, that I now regularly use and add to every document. I was told that a signature needs to be issued by a verification authority, a third party that is able to verify the signature, certificate. I created a free certificate at CAcert.org and tried to combine it with the adobe signature certificate file, but it doesnt support .cer and .crt files. Is the Adobe the certification authority in this case since i created signature in the Adobe software? Its not a big deal, I just want everything to be correct since I use the signature in official documents now (instead of scanning a signed document) ... Thanks for any info, ideas or help.
JacobEach Digital Certificate has a pair of private and public keys used for encryption/decryption. The private key belongs to the certificate owner and should be kept secret. It is protected by a password. The public key can be used by anyone. Digital certificates come in two flavors: one that contains both private and public key and one that contains only public key.
When you create a digital signature the signing process uses the private key to encrypt the signed content digest and the public key is used to decrypt it. So, only you can encrypt signed content with your certificate that has both private and private keys and anyone can decrypt it to validate the signature using certificate that has only public key. Usually, this certificate with the public key only is embedded in the digital signature, so that anyone can use it for decryption.
The .cer certificate contains only public key. Certificates with both private and public keys usually have extensions .pfx or .p12. You need one of those to sign.
CAcert.org issues only public key certificates. so you cannot use its certificates for digital signing.
Adobe is not a general purpose certification authority. It issues some certificates for internal use only.
Acrobat has a feature that allows you to create so-called self-signed certificates with both private and public keys but these certificates can be used only in a limited way. They do not provide the means to authenticate the real certificate owner nor revoke a certificate if it is stolen.
Generally, a digital signature asserts three main features:
1. Document integrity (document has not been changes since it had been signed),
2. Authentication (the signer is indeed what the certificate says)
3. Non-repudiation (the signature author cannot deny that he signed it: this is achieved via certificate revocation mechanism).
A self-signed certificate (of the type that Acrobat produces) can be used only for #1. It cannot be used for ##2 and 3. The latter two come only when a certificate (with private key) is issued by a reputable Certificate Authority which is trusted (like VeriSign, Symantec, etc.). -

What is the use of Digital Signature in export release build for AIR applications

what is the use of digital signature identity when we release build?Well obviously it is an Ant build.
It looks to just compile/build a web application into a war so you can deploy it where you want to.
You don't need to edit it every time you are making a new page. It should work for any generic struts web application laid out in the fashion it expects.

I have a 2012 Bank America Cash Rewards Visa Platinum Card that i've successfully removed the $39 annual fee and had it changed to Better Balance Rewards as of last year because i was only earning $50 cash back on my Cash Rewards and figured i could be earning $125 a year having the Better Balance Rewards nstead so i made the switch. Better Balance Rewards usually comes in a Mastercard but they kept it Visa when they changed it from Cash Rewards to BBR. The only thing i did not like was because it was the first credit card it sits at a low $500. When i hand it to the cashier at starbucks (because of their BankAmeriDeals 10% Cash Back using your BankAmerica Card) I am embarrass because it's not ''Signature Visa'' makes me feel and look like i may have ''bad'' credit or just carrying a secured card. When i tried asking if i can be upgrded to a signature visa they said my card does not qualify and need to hard pull my credit report.for a credit limit increas to $5,000. The problem is would i be better off applying for Bank America Signature Visa (preqalified on their site) then i get $100 cash back when i spend $500 in 90 days. Then could they roll over my cash rewards credit line to Better Balance Rewards and close 2015 Cash Rewards ? or would i be better using my ''hard inquiry'' for either US bank cash+ or Chase Sapphire Preferred ? because i know US Bank may be inquiry sensitive and i was planning applying either those 2 in the fall but did not want my inquir from Bank Ameroca get in the way. BTW, my Freedom is signature Visa. Capital One EO would not convert my Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard to Signature visa either. Said i need apply for a Signature Visa and then close the Mastercard which would be stupid since its also one of the longest accounts opened with Bank America. Capital One was $500 but they now allow you combine your cards which was how i got it from $500 to $5,000 without a hard inquiry though unlike Bank America trying to do. So my question is what's the best way getting your cards upgraded to a Signature Visa when its costing you a hard inquiry ? apply it or increase it ? or would you rather use your hard inquiry somewhre else and just not use your non signature visa useless $500 limit card ? What i want ? i want my Bank America $500 limit up with my rest of my portfolio cards and upgraded to signature visa WITHOUT a hard inquiry but they won't do it without a hard inquiry which i wanted to save for adding chase sapphire signature visa and or US bank Cash+ signature visa to my portfolio in the fall so it seems if i want to do this its going to cost me 2 if not 3 hard inquires instead of just 1, i currently have 24 inquiries but 0 in the last 6 months. AMEX started me off at $1,000 a few years ago and it's slowly grown since then. No need to be ashamed about not having a VISA Signature. Most cashiers aren't looking that closely and most people outside of this forum don't obsess over credit cards. If you're trying to protect your AAoA, then by all means call BOA and ask to talk with a credit analyst (or call the backdoor directy). Request a CLI to your desired amount ($5000 or more). In my experience BOA has been great with CLIs. Good luck! If you're not concerned about your AAoA, then consider which card fits your needs and spending habits: CSP or Cash+. From what I understand, the Cash+ is a difficult card to obtain (often involving manual review). I love my CSP (it's more a travel card), but Chase is stingy with CLIs. I've read here that Chase tends to give bigger limits on second cards. So, since you already have a Freedom Signature, perhaps you'll get a decent CL if you apply for the CSP. Good luck! -

Can you please try disabling protected mode and see if you are able to open these files.
To disable protected mode:
Select Edit menu -> Preferences -> Ubcheck Enable Protected Mode at startup and restart Adobe Reader.
Note:
"Purpose of Reader XI Protected Mode is to keep your system safe from PDF based exploits and keeping protected mode OFF will leave your system vulnerable.”
Please turn back on the protected mode checkup after this testing.
This seems to be a fix! Thank you for your help. Now comes the tricky part. I have to deploy this as a package across a gov. network using SCCM. How do I get this to all the users with "enable protected mode..." unchecked. I can't give them something that does not work out of the box.

It is not advisable to turn off protected mode as Purpose of Reader XI Protected Mode is to keep your system safe from PDF based exploits and keeping protected mode OFF will leave your system vulnerable.
Please let me know few details so that I can reproduce the issue at my end.
1) Will it be possible for you to send any test file in which the issue is reproducible.
2) Can you please check where the certificate (from which the PDF is signed) is stored. (Is it stored at Trusted Root Certificate Authorities or some other store?)
3) Do you use any other tool other than Adobe Reader plugin to digitally sign/ open a PDF ? (Is any tool other than Adobe Reader is involved?)

Hi David,
Please do the below test to see if the issue occurs due to signatures applied to the PDF document.
1) Launch Reader go to Edit -> Preferences -> Security (Enhanced) and check "Enable Protected Mode at startup" and clock OK.
2) Goto Edit -> Preferences -> Signatures and select Verification . Uncheck "verify signatures when the document is opened." and click OK.
3) Restart Adobe Reader
4) Now open the digitally signed protected PDF file in which the issue was observed.

It has nothing to do with the signatures applied. Any document with a
signature block, even blank documents, will not open unless the "enable
protected documents at start up" is unchecked. It is the same across the
board for all documents weather signed or unsigned with a signature block. I
have it working on my machine, I just need to figure out how to install over
the network with the block unchecked during installation.

I have changed the email signature on my iPhone, when composing a new email the signature is there, however when I am replying to an email it is not, how can I make sure that the signature is at the end of every email I send?
Yes I know what you mean about it cluttering the thread and for personal emails it is better without the signature. However this relates to sending business emails from an iPhone so I need the signature present on every email.

Error 3200 while trying to update to iOS 5! Help??
I'm trying to update to iOS 5, and every time it reaches as far as extracting the software and prepping the phone for the update. Then it stops and gives me an error 3200. Any fixes to this?
