You need to reference sup-slot0:.
The slot0: is nothing but the external PCMCIA memory card connected to the switch. So if you have external PCMCIA card inserted in the Switch, only then you can see the result with slot0:
The above solution is based on the assumption that you are native IOS on the switch. In Hybrid mode one cannot access the slot0:

I wanted my teenager's AppleID to be different from mine so that she couldn't charge stuff to my AppleID, therefore I created me another one. Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? If I can just log in out of the AppleID, then I have no problem doing that as long as the synced apps, music, etc stays there for both. I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times. If logging in and out on the same PC of multiple AppleIDs is acceptible then I need to be able to authorize the PC for both devices. Thanks for the help. I am new to the iOS world.

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. What is the proper way to close all open sessions of a NI PXI-4110 for a given Device alias?

I've found that, when programming the NI PXI-4110 that, if a the VI "niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI" (NI-DCPower pallette) is called with a device
alias that all ready has one or more sessions open (due to an abort or other programming error) a device reference results from the reference out that has a (*) where "*" is post-fixed to the device reference where and is an integer starting that increments with each initialize call. In my clean up, I would like to close all open sessions. For example, let's said the device alias is "NIPower_1" in NI Max, and there are 5 open sessions; NIPower_1, NIPower_1 (1), NIPower_1 (2), NIPower_1 (3), and NIPower_1 (4). A simple initialize or reset (using niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI, or, niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI, etc.) What is the proper way to close all open sessions?

When you Initialize a session to a device that already has a session open, NI-DCPower closes the previous session and returns a new one. You can verify this very easily: try to use the first session after the second session was opened.
Unfortunately, there is a small leak and that is what you encountered: the previous session remains registered with LabVIEW, since we unregister inside the Close VI and this was never called. So the name of the session still shows in the control like you noted: NIPower_1, NIPower_1 (1), NIPower_1 (2), NIPower_1 (3), and NIPower_1 (4), etc.
There may be a way to iterate over the registered sessions, but I couldn't find it. However, you can unregister them by calling "IVI Delete Session". Look for it inside "niDCPower Close.vi". If you don't have the list of open sessions, but you have the device name, then you can just append (1), (2) and so forth and call "IVI Delete Session" in a loop. There's no problem calling it on sessions that were never added.
However - I consider all this a hack. What you should do is write code that does not leak sessions. Anything you open, you should close. If you find yourself in a situation where there are a lot of leaked sessions during development, relaunching LabVIEW will clear it out. If relaunching LabVIEW is too much of an annoyance, then write a VI that does what I described above and run it when needed. You can even make it "smarter" by getting the names of all the NI-DCPower devices in your system using the System Configuration or niModInst APIs.

What are the implications of changing your Apple id when you own multiple devices?

I would like to change my regular email service provider and instead use only my new gmail address. My apple id is the same as my regular soon to be replaced email address. I understand that in the past you could not change your apple id but you could change the email address associated with the apple id. However now it seems that you can change your apple id and by this I dont mean getting a new one, I simply mean editing the old one and infact Apple encourages people to make sure that their Apple id and email address are the same. So, my questions is considering the fact that I own multiple Apple devices (iPhone, iMac and iPad), what will the implications be of doing this and what do I need to consider before I change my Apple id to my new Gmail address? I know for example that apps are apparently permanently associated with a single Apple id so I guess I will have to redownload and pay for them. But what do I need to do on my iPhone, iMac and iPad to make sure that iMessage, iCloud etc is unaffected and continue to work properly. I guess for a start I need to tell everyone who communicates with me via iMessage that they have to use a new Apple id for example. I am worried that a change like this will cause mayhem among my devices and I'll regret it. Right now I have kept my old Apple id and simply added an alternate email address to my account that being my new Gmail address. Maybe its simpler to keep it this way. What is the "best" way to configure iTunes on an iMac with personal user acounts so each user can access the media library but sync devices on their personal user account?

I am trying to determine the best way to set up our imac so each user account can access the same media (songs, movies etc.) through itunes and also back up and manage their personal devices under their own personal user account. There are 4 users on our iMac. Me, my wife, and our 2 children. We have built an extensive library of music/media together using the same iTunes store account. I would like to establish a seperate apple id and iTunes store account for each of us going forward but have the ability for each of us to share our purchases. What is the best way to configure our system and devices in order to allow shared access to media and at the same time allow for individual management of devices including contacts, apps, photos, etc. Please help, I would like to do this once!

OK, seeing as no-one replied (presumably because a lot of this information is on the forums in bits elsewhere) here's how I've got on so far.
Applications - just went through them. About the only one I needed was my media server app. Just downloaded and re-installed, had a quick look back though my email to find the license key and it all went on fine. Installation never seemed quite right on my old machine so solved that problem too.
Movies - New iMovies just copied across the clips and projects into their respective folders. Seems to have worked but haven't checked it all that thoroughly. Some duplicate footage here but I can trim this out at some point when I get a chance to go through here.
Documents - Just copied these across.
Photos - used an app called iPhoto Library Manager. You can download for free but have to pay to use the part that consolidates your libraries. Possibly if I was willing to spend a bit more time I could have got away without using this but given I didn't know the state of my different libraries and just how many duplicates I had this was too much of a convenience to ignore. Also got my library into a state where I can now spend a few hours organising it a bit better with Faces / Events etc.
Not attempted Music or iPhone sync yet as been stuck trying to solve a problem with my power adapter.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

We want to put one ID on the Macbook and iPad that we can use to have the same iMessage on both and that we can put a card on and use in the iTunes store etc.
We also want to have our own iMessages on our iPhones, plus be able to use the account with the cards on them to purchase and share across devices...

iTunes is straight forward, just use the same ID on all of them.
What exactly do you want to see in messages on the Mac and iPad, messages combined from each of your phones or a different account just for both of you.
You should think about what you want in calendars, contacts etc, on your shared devices.

What is the normal amount of GB of Other Space for a new 32 GB Ipod touch 5 Generation with iOS 6.1.3? Also, will iOS 7 slow down/drain the battery of my device?

My Other storage space was at 2.84 GB after i loaded all my music/apps onto a recently purchased 32 GB Ipod touch 5 Generation with iOS 6.1.3. Resetting the settings and removing the music and apps did not help reduce the Other space. I restored to a backup and got my Other storage space down to almost 400 MB. When I started syncing music it grew 500-ish MB. Each time I sync, the Other grows a bit more. This is really irritating.
The official listed available GB on my 32 GB is 28.22 GB (not including Other), so now I am irritated knowing that this Other is taking up my space when I didn't even have 32 GB of free space to begin with. So 28.22 - 2.84GB = 25.38 GB.
I want to restore to a new device to see if that helps, but do not want to upgrade to i0S7. Is there any way to do this?
If I upgrade to i0S 7 I am worried it might slow my ipod or drain the battery faster. Will it do that? The ipod is expensive and I dont want it to go downhill and obsolete on me because it can't handle a better operating system.

Less than 1 1/5 GB is normal. It does grow with time.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this. I have a customer who considers the shipping date very important in their operations. Our HTOM was taking a look at the reports from the IR portal, and informed me that some devices showed the shipping date, while others did not.
It seems that 'fixed switches' seemed to show this information while 'chassis' did not. What is the criteria that is used to display this information?

I think your request may need some technical analysis. I would suggest, please open Service Request (SR) and provide the details of the devices having an issue and report details too, so that technical support team can check availability of requested data in upstream systems.
Per their analysis, they will update you thru SR.

Its worth confirming what free space you have on your drive:
go to: Apple Menu > About this Mac > More Info > Storage
The bar chart shows how much free space there is on the drive:
Please realise that partitioning does not create extra space so this wont help you.
If your free space is less than 20 % you should get extra storage with an external USB or Firewire drive, any make or model will work.

HT1202 I get how you can transfer purchases from a device to computer but what about the hundreds of songs on my iPad that were from CDs and non purchased? How can you move them from iPAd to computer if it wants to erase and sync?

I am needing to transfer ALL content, not just purchased, to new computer and it wants to erase and sync because device is associated with another Library. Please help!

What was the source to get that content onto the iPad?
There has to be a middleman to get from CD to iPad - use
backup of that to get content to new computer.
