What is the solution to RFC 5746 see CVE-2009-3555?

I am unable to print all of a webpage. Tools and errors showed "Server does not Support RFC 5746 see CVE-2009-3555". reloading Firefox and restoring from backup have not solved this.

Your print problem has most likely nothing to do with that error message.

  • What is RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-- 3555 Causes freezes and won't allow uninstall.

Firefox stopped working correctly. It freezes, I have tried to remove it from my computer but it will not accept the command to uninstall. Under Tools - Web Developer - Error Console - Messages I get this message, Server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-- 3555

You can probably ignore the message itself, as it is information for websites rather than users. For more information on that see:

  • I cannot copy and paste details from my bank statement into a word document, without the formatting changing.I have a message in my Error console which reads: server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555

Since transferring data from my desktop to my laptop, i am now having problems copying and pasting details from my bank website in to a word document, the formatting is all over the place. This didnt happen before, when i pasted the details in to the word document the formatting was exactly the same as on the webpage. If I use internet explorer, I dont have this problem, so, I can only assume it has something to do with Firefox. I have checked the "Error console" and I am receiving this message: server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555.

  • RFC 5746 see CVE-2009-3555

This is the error message I get when I try using portions of my credit card and banks websites. Those sites are probably more secure than Firefox, yet in all of these forums, the only answer I can get is that the websites "might not be secure". Other than that, not a single answer can I find.
I had to resort to using Opera and Chrome to do my banking....are you kidding me??? Firefox should be ashamed of themselves. I've already given up on 4.0...which was buggy as hell and crashed, not kidding, over 30 times the first day.
    Pissed off as hell!!!!

'''The message about CVE-2009-3555 is meant for webmasters to make them aware that they need to fix their servers.'''
Contact the specific website and let them know that they have to apply the necessary patch to their servers, there's nothing their user's can fix - it's a vulnerability in their server software.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh.
