What is the stores with IPhone battery replacement in South Africa?
Hi there, I sent my Apple phone in to have the battery replaced and was told I must buy a refurbished phone at the cost of R1695.00 as the battery cannot be replaced by anyone in South Africa. Is this true?

What is the deal with Iphone 5 photos downloading to my pc.
I have had an Iphone since all the way back to Iphone 3. never have I had this issue. I cannot download my pictures or video to my pc. I use to be able to plug in my phone and the box came up asking me what I want to do. work great but i guess if something is working apple moto is break it. I dont know way thay have changed this but it is very flustration to say the lest. all I can thing is that thay now want to force you to use the cloud a program that i dont want to use. If this is the way apple is going to treat their custormers then I am out. I hope the next update or Iphone goes back the what the people like simple and easy downloads to pc.

What is the procedure for iPhone 4 replacement?
I've got a replacement phone and had my original phone shipped back. But I received an email from apple, telling me my original phone was shipped back to me. In this case, what should I do next? Do I need to ship the replacement phone to them once I received my original phone?
But I did not see such policy on the email apple sent me. From the policy, it only emphasizes I must return my old phone within 10 days to expire the pending payment.
Thank you for telling me the procedure.You're going to have to ask Apple. We are NOT Apple. We have no idea why they would have shipped your original back to you after providing a replacement.

I am getting my third battery and charger! What's the deal with poor quality?
My macbook is a late 2009 model. It's always been running great, but I have some key issues that are making me question ever buying a mac again... For starters, I am purchasing my third battery and charger since owning this computer. I am not very happy with the quality of these devices... The battery is buldged out, and looks like it's ready to explode any day! The power supply is frayed, and exposing bare wires! What is the deal with such poor quality products? I always thought Apple was top notch in high quality, but lately, I've been proven wrong...

Seems to me that these issues REALLY need to be addressed by Apple. The reviews on the power supplies are ridiculous! Numorous complaints, yet Apple has YET to do anything about it! So my question is, what is Apple going to do about these issues? These need to be addressed, and fixed, ASAP! I owned a Dell laptop for 6 years, and never had an issue with the batteries I had, OR the power supply, and it cost me half the price of this macbook.That would be awesome, if the nearest service area wasn't 4 hours away.... It would cost me just as much in gas to drive down there as it would just to buy a cheap replacement off of ebay...

My wife and i have an iPhone 5 6.1.2 firmware.. We both are having horrible wifi signals. We have done everything we can.. What update will fix this? I get full bars on my iPad 2 through my whole house.. Be standing right beside the router with iPhones and it cuts in and out.. Drops from 3 wifi bars to 1
I am having the same problem with brand new Ipad Mini at my house.
It connects to the WiFi fine - but will not pull an IP address in DHCP mode, or if I set all the IP info statically - it still will not get any network access.
This doesn't look like a WiFi issue, as it does connect and is seen by the WiFi Access Point. All the normal WiFi fix stuff doesn't help.
- Using a Dlink DAP-2553 which is less than 2 months old.
Other devices connect fine, including Ipad 2.
This same Mini worked fine at another house and also connected to a mobile hotspot fine....so seems to be some weird IP issue with maybe this Access Point or maybe the older Router that I have (older Netgear)?
I am actually a network engineer and still have not been able to find a solution. Both the Ipad Mini and the Dlink WAP have the latest firmware loaded.
Wondering if anyone has found a solution to this problem. -
I recently upgraded to iTunes 11.1.5 and now my iPod Nano is not recognized in iTunes. I also upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 7.1. i Tunes on my computer does recognize my iPhone. What is the problem with my iPod Nano not being recognized?
I would think, Twins1995, that if we are having the problem, others are as well. Hopefully, Apple will shortly issue a follow-up software release to fix the problem. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part.
It would be helpful, if there were some kind of work-around in the interim, so we can use our devices. Pretty frustrating when you consider that all of the hardware and software is produced by Apple. -
I just got an iphone and am trying to connect it to my itunes account. Getting the message " This iphone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started. How do I start it? Have already been back to the store with it and no change.

So in my home, we have such device that could clean the air using ion, and i am using it in my room...
Result: BANG!!! The electric shock on my macbook has gone!! I don't really care about physics but somehow it works! You guys should give it a try.

If you are in India, contact your local service center for a price quote. I don't know if Indian service centers can replace just the back glass or if they will need to replace the entire iPhone. To locate a service center, see:

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to display your Control Panel. You will see the Orientation Lock icon in the top right. Tap on this to toggle Orientation Lock on or off.

My wife has a motorola KRZR K1M Cell Phone. I have iPhone 4S. My phone (4S) receives and display text messages from my wife's phone. However, my phone does nort receive or display pictures sent from my wife's phone. However, my daughter has a 4S phone and she receives pictures sent from my wife's phone. Do you have MMS enabled, both on the phone and also within your account? Remember, MMS requires a data connection.

Great question. We can understand wanting to get your money right away. If you go into the store and you trade in your iPhone and purchase a new iPhone that is in stock you will receive the gift card immediately. If you do it online before 9/30 you will have to ship the device after you receive your new iPhone and then you will get a gift card in 4-6 weeks.
