What is the successor to the 6600i slide?

I very much like the physical design and shape of this phone, but the voice quality, microphone placement and screen are all horrible. What is the 6600i slide's successor? I want to check it out to see if it's any better; if it is, I will upgrade, but if not, I will have to start looking into other brands for the first time ever.

id go with the 6700 slide
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • API for Adobe Color - what's the successor to the Kuler API

I had an Adobe Kuler API key, and I have written an app that used it to retrieve Kuler color schemes.
Since Adobe moved Kuler over to Color, this has all stopped working.
(Other people had problems before that point, because Adobe stopped issuing new API keys for Kuler, but I had a key and it kept working).
So my question is: How do I change my app so it works again? What is the successor to the Kuler API?
I've searched and found nothing - which may indicate that there is no API. But it would seem odd for Adobe to move to a new platform and silently discontinue such a key feature.
And if there is no API at present, it would help to know what plans there are. If the Kuler API is permanently dead, I need to find a rival community-generated colour scheme platform, and recode to use that instead.

I'd love to see an API for adobe color as well.

  • The successor of the X

    Hi guys,
I'm just wondering, has anyone got any information off the grapevine about when the successor to the X-Fi is to eventually arri've? Any speculation been going on? Any kind of implications from Creative? Or perhaps history might lend a clue as to when they're likely to retire the X-Fi as their masthead product?
Just wondering. It seems that while the other PC component sectors thunder on with new product after new product, performance and processing almost doubling each time round, sound cards remain very slow. I suspect this is because there's nobody really giving Creative any serious competition, and as a result less incenti've to dri've new technology forward quickly.
Just wondering where we're at. Think we're nearing the end of the X-Fi's life, or are Creative going to squeeze many more months/years out of it's

Speaking about a succesor to X-Fi is wishful thinking... The X-Fi will be here for years to come, before they change anything vital, if they ever do. Creative right now is looking at its cards and wondering if it is worth it to make and sell soundcards anymore. Development costs are high and then?we all want drivers all the time which makes it very difficult to make a profit out of it. Just consider that everybody else quitted the business years ago, and they didn't do it because Creative was so much ahead? The X-Fi chip is a relati'vely?complex chip, which took 5 years to develop and is almost rendered obsolete by Vista. So why bother and make a new hardware-based card, for which you will need to convince developers to write code not supported by Microsoft? It may work for a some time more, but I personally see no future in it.?Just my?2 cents

  • Successor of the Nokia Asha 311

I have an Asha 311 and though it's a nice phone (besides the problems like missing mutlitasking, copy/paste etc) I think the biggest problem is the tiny screen. Even for a feature phone, a Fulltouch-phone should have a display, which is at least 3.5 inches. Everything else is unusable and maybe for a 8 years old good. Preinstalled apps are possible to rotate, but most Third-party-apps miss this feature.
Are there already any plans for the successor of the Asha 311 with a bigger screen (and of course other improvements)?

Nokia has now announced the Asha 310, almost a clone of the cheaper S40-Fulltouch-phones Yes, the Asha Phones are hot sellers, but I really don't think that's good for Nokias image to release so many similar phones, just with differences in WLAN, Dual-SIM, or 3G. I really hope they'll skip the Asha 304, and finally release the Asha 312.

  • Successor to the 3720c

    Hi All,
I was wondering if there is any news on the successor to the 3720c?
We are using this phone at work and we are very happy with it.
But now our reseller told us that the 3720c is EOL and there is no news on any new robust phone at this point from Nokia.
So i was wondering if there will be any new robust Nokia phone
    Thanks in advance....
    Mahidi

Nokia has yet to announce any robust replacements for that model and there has been no rumours.
So unfortunately all you can do is wait and see. Some new models are expected to be announced next week.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

  • I am making my first keynote presentation.  I transferred the slides from a power point.  I did not use a 'theme' from keynote.  Keynote will not let me 'name' the presentation and the 'save as' option will not come up in the menu.  What have I done wrong

I am making my first keynote presentation.  I transferred the slides from a power point.  I did not use a 'theme' from keynote.  Keynote will not let me 'name' the presentation and the 'save as' option will not come up in the menu.  What have I done wrong

When it comes to Keynote, I try and start with a presentation that's 1680 x 1050 preset or something in that range.  Most projectors that you'll get at a conference won't project much higher than that and if they run at a lower resolution, it's better to have the device downsize your Keynote.  Anything is better than having the projector try and upsize your presentation... you work hard to make it look good, and it's mangled by some tired Epson projector.
As far as slides go, scan them in at 150 dpi or better, and make them at least the dimensions of your presentation.  Keynote is really only wanting 72dpi, but I do them at 150, just in case I need to print out the presentation as a handout later, and having the pix at 150 dpi gives me a little help with their quality on a printer.
You'd probably have to drop in the 150 versions again if you output the Keynote to .pdf or Word or something, but at least you have the option.
And Gary's right (above) go ahead and scan them as TIFFs.  Sooner or later you'll want to do something else with these slides (like make something for an iPad or the like) and having them as TIFFs keeps your presentation looking good.
Finally, and this is a big one, get to the location for your presentation ahead of time if you can, and plug the laptop in and see what you get.  There's always connection problems. Don't let the AV bonehead tell you everything will work just fine ('... I don't have any adapters for a Mac...') .  See it for yourself... you're the one that's standing up there.  Unless it's your boss, then you better be really sure it works.

  • What is the simplest way to create slide show

What is the simplest way to create a slide show ?  (Premiere Elements 12)

    saploe
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Premiere Elements 12 Mac does not have a Slideshow option in its Elements Organizer 12. So, that situation would not yield the two choices of creating the slideshow in the Elements Organizer and taking it into Premiere Elements OR doing the whole project solely in Premiere Elements.
What is going into this slideshow....photos (how many, original pixel dimensions), videos (formats and duration), etc?
What is a description of your computer resources?
How do you intent to export this slideshow...
    a. burn to DVD-VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc
    b. burn to AVCHD format on DVD disc
    c. burn to Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc
    d. to file saved to the computer hard drive?
We will customize a reply based on the information that you supply.
    Thanks.

  • What is the "Auto adjust White Clip" slider for?

    The Aperture manual says:
Auto adjust White Clip slider: Use the “Auto adjust White Clip” slider and value slider to add tolerance to Auto Levels adjustments when evaluating colors beyond white.
But I don't know what they mean with "add tolerance". What is it intended to do?

"Auto Levels" analyses your Image and applies a Levels adjustment based on a preset algorithm (similar to "Auto-enhance" in iPhoto, for example).  The Auto adjust White Clip slider allows you to set what percentage of pixels will be set to full-luminance.  (Hover your cursor over the slider for a ToolTip.)
This is very easy to see in practice.  Select an Image with no adjustments applied, and duplicate it.  Then with the Auto adjust White Clip slider set to the left, click "Auto" in the Levels Brick.  Select the other Image, change the slider all the way to the right, and "Auto-Levels" that Image.  Compare the two.  Be sure to compare the histograms in the Levels Bricks: this shows you mathematically what the difference is.

  • Outlook 2013 IMAP Email Account Setings - What Is The "Mail To Keep Offline" Slider

I've just set up some IMAP accounts in Outlook 2013 and in POP And IMAP Account Settings there is a sliding control called
Mail To Keep Offline which is currently set to All.
I'm a little confused as to what this slider controls and how? Presumably it controls which emails are synced to the server but if for example I set it to 24 months does it mean that all email up to 24 months old is synced to the server or
all email over 24 months old is synced to the server.
The lack of help in the product on this is not very good.

This new feature is called Data Based Sync Slider. This allows you to limit the amount of data that is synchronized locally to your OST.  The purpose of the slider is to make Outlook usable on devices that have limited or small amounts of local
    storage.  ---- (1/3/6/12/All month)
If you set it to 24 months, the email up to 24 month would not sync/cache to your local OST file, all old messages would stay at server.
    Cheers,
